A bright and fresh day welcomes the Son as he arrives at school. Today is the training day of prospective members of OSIS, and Putra feels a mixture of nervousness and enthusiasm. He wants to give his best in this training, trying to channel his energy into positive things.
That morning, the training began with a physical warm-up that included a morning run in the schoolyard. The son and other potential OSIS members lined up neatly at the starting line, ready to start their warm-up.
However, when Putra started running, he accidentally nudged a student who was also running next to him. He felt like there was contact that brought him to a halt. The son turned his head away, and the morning sun illuminated the face of a shocked schoolgirl.
"I'm sorry" said the Son quickly, his face showing no expression.
The student, named Arshila, smiled awkwardly. "It's okay. I also need to be more careful."
However, before they could continue the conversation further, the training was passed on and they had to refocus on the practice. The son continued running, erasing the small incident earlier from his mind. He did not know why, but back then, he felt as if there was something different about Arshila.
After the training was over, the son walked towards the library to relax for a moment. He walked in and saw Arshila sitting at the reception desk, with a smile on her face. Arshila turns out to be the guardian of the library and is currently waiting for the new books to arrive.
The son walked past the reception desk without much talking. He wanted to be aloof and reflect on the training day he had just gone through. Suddenly Arshila greeted him.
"Hi, you. You're an OSIS member, right? I heard they were having training," said Arshila kindly.
The son nodded briefly. "Yes, right."
Arshila smiled gently. "What a noble job. I hope you can succeed."
The son only nodded once more, still maintaining his cold demeanor. She did not want to engage in further conversation, but in her heart, she felt that there was something interesting about Arshila. He walked towards one corner of the library and sat alone, pondering over this unexpected encounter. Arshila, a friendly and feisty new girl, unexpectedly starts to attract her attention, though she is still reluctant to admit it.
A few days after the meeting at the library, Arshila felt increasingly curious about the Son. He wanted to know more about this mysterious man who always looked so cold. Perhaps, he could open up a little layer of the walls built by the Son.
That morning, Arshila brought two glasses of cold drink to the library. He knew that the Son would usually come there to relax for a moment. She hopes to get him to talk and maybe get a chance to get to know him more deeply.
When the Son arrived at the library, Arshila greeted him with a warm smile. "Hi, Son. How are you?"
The son nodded briefly. "Good."
Arshila smiled, showing the glass of drink she was carrying. "I brought a cold drink, will you?"
The son looked at the drink doubtfully. He was unfamiliar with this kind of kindness, and he felt a little confused about what he should do.
Arshila did not give up. He brought one of the glasses closer to the table where the Son was sitting. "try it. It'll make you feel fresher."
The son finally received the glass with a slightly doubtful look on his face. He took one gulp and felt the freshness of the drink running through his throat.
"It turned out to be delicious," he said without any special expression.
Arshila smiled a small victory. "seen? I know you'll like it."
They sat together in the library, with glasses of cold drink in their hands. Arshila tries to start a conversation, talking about school, drinks, and other light things. He tried to break the walls built by the Son, even though he knew it would take time.
The son, though initially awkward, begins to feel more comfortable with Arshila's whereabouts. He felt that this girl really wanted to know him, not just the ordinary people he passed by in the school corridor. Although he still displayed a cold demeanor, there was a flash of desire to speak that emerged from within him.
In a conversation that takes place casually, Son and Arshila may be embarking on a new journey, building an unexpected closeness. In a quiet library, two different worlds touch each other, creating a bond that slowly grows.
The son and Arshila were still sitting in the corner of the library, chatting leisurely. Their conversation had built an increasingly strong bond, although the Son still kept his cool. However, the sudden roar of exercise from outside interrupted their conversation.
The voice of the coach leading the training of the OSIS candidate members echoed through the corridor. "All prospective members of OSIS, prepare to continue training in the field. We'll start in a few minutes!"
The son suddenly felt his heart pound faster. He knew that this was an opportunity for him to prove himself, to show his ability and passion in becoming a member of OSIS. He looked at Arshila quickly and got up from his chair.
"I'm sorry, I think I should go" he said quickly.
Arshila smiled and nodded. "Of course, Son. The spirit of training!"
The son gave a brief smile in response, then he turned around and ran out of the library. He felt a tempestuous spirit within him, and he felt that it was time to put on his pride hat as a potential member of OSIS.
As she ran towards the field, she felt the gaze of Arshila who was still following her with her gaze. Although Son's attitude towards her still felt cold, Arshila remained there for her, giving her support and encouragement.
The son arrived at the field where the training session would resume. He saw his classmates gathered there, and he felt an adrenaline rush in him. He took a deep breath and put his pride hat on his head, like a symbol of his determination and spirit.
The coach gave instructions, and the training began. The son feels focused and energetic, follows every instruction and strives to give his best. He felt as if there was a fire burning within him, moving his steps and overcoming every obstacle he encountered.
As the Son ran and jumped, he felt the sun shining brightly in the sky. He felt a strengthening spirit, and he felt that this was the first step in his life change. And, even though he had yet to completely overcome the walls he had built, there was someone who believed in him out there, someone who provided endless support and spirit.
