Just take him for you

Just take him for you
Salma's Fretfulness

After the examination at the obstetrician, Salma was not allowed to go home again. The wife from Space was immediately herded into the treatment room to wait for the operation schedule.

"I should be able to go home for a while and prepare my own clothes and needs" complained Salma. He felt uncomfortable without any preparation, had to lie in a hospital bed.

"Bik Yut has been prepared, you don't have to worry. What do you want to eat?" bargaining Space diverts Salma's unrest.

"The doctor asked for a fast because he wanted surgery, how the hell." Salma's protest frowned. Angkasa rubbed his chin which began to be overgrown with thin hair, trying to find other topics to divert his wife's mind. "It's different when someone else is prepared." Salma continued her complaint.

Still wearing the long dress she had been wearing since this morning in her husband's office, the woman walked back and forth around the room rubbing her big belly.

"Lay, Honey. Just rest first." Angkasa held Salma's shoulders and led his wife to go up to the bed.

But only for a moment Salma lay calm, the distended woman stood back up and checked her phone for umpteenth time.

"The twins have taken a shower yet?" tanya fretted to himself. His finger typed something on his phone with his forehead folded, "Tok no reply anyway," muttered Salma. Impatiently waiting for an answer from the person he sent the message, Salma immediately contacted with a cellular call, "Ga picked up," he complained annoyed while trying to repeat the phone call.

"Who are you calling?" The space that had originally collapsed on the sofa, stood back up and approached Salma who was sitting on the edge of the bed. He patiently waited for his wife to type something on her phone.

"Narti, my message was not answered, the phone was not picked up. I just want to know, the twins have taken a shower yet. Now that they're getting harder to manage, I'm almost overwhelmed by them" Salma said with her eyes fixed on the flat screen.

"You're just nervous about having surgery tomorrow. You're not usually like this. Believe that the kids are in good condition. Maybe Narti is bathing the twins or is still playing in the yard, so can't pick up and answer your message." Space is full of patience.

"I'm not nervous, I feel fine" Salma said. She was still trying to contact her domestic worker again.

Space took a deep breath, this time he had to act decisively. It is very visible if Salma is depressed because of excessive tension.

"Darling, go to sleep first." Space took the phone from Salma's hand and put it on the table.

"See, I'm gonna call Narti first." Salma stood up and tried to get her phone. But quickly Angkasa took it back and put it in his pants pocket.

"I'm the one who found out about the twins, you still believe in me, don't you?" Angkasa stared at the two straight Salma eyeballs, "I'm also Papa the twins, Honey," continued Angkasa further sharpen his gaze when his wife still did not show a surrender attitude.

Like hypnotized, Salma's body began to relax and then by itself went up to the bed and laid his body there. Space helped when he saw his wife had trouble getting into bed with her big belly.

"Where are you going?" Salma's hand pulled the edge of the Angkasa shirt as the man stood up from her side.

"You want to call Narti with Mr. Romli first, find out the state of the twins," replied Angkasa.

"Go on, I'm sure they're okay," said Salma, "They're following Narti," Salma added in a soft voice.

"You're sure I don't have to figure out the twins?" ask Space reassuringly.

The sky sat back on the edge of the bed. His hand rubbed his wife's distended stomach and peeked repeatedly. He also put his ear on Salma's stomach and laughed.

"Why?" ask Salma wonder.

"They are negotiating, who will come out first" said Angkasa as if listening seriously. Salma's tense face began to loosen. She laughed with her husband.

"If you relax like this, they will calm down. What is it that really makes you nervous?" Space tucked the hair behind Salma's ear.

"Is there any chance I could give birth normally?" Salma looked at her husband expectantly.

"Doctors have said, you have to have a Caesarean delivery, because considering the condition of age so much safer." Salma clucked in disappointment and threw her gaze towards the window.

"Is there something you're worried about?" Space held Salma's chin and turned it back.

"I don't know." Salma shook her head with tears. He really did not understand his feelings at this time, "I just want to feel the birth normally, first when the twins were born also Caesar."

"Then?" chasing Space still doesn't understand.

"It feels incomplete" Salma replied in a soft voice.

"For me it's just a different way, the most important thing is that you and our baby are healthy and safe."

"His mother Armand was furious when I was asked by a doctor for a C-section. Mas Armand was also unwilling to sign a statement to undergo surgery." Salma bites her aunt as the painful memories come back.

When he was alone on the bed the patient withstood pain in the stomach and also tightness in his chest. Her in-laws who accompanied her, continued to nag say that women can not be said to be a mother if they have not given birth normally. While her husband was angry to go somewhere, after his request to help her give birth was normally rejected by the doctor who handled it.

After the twins were born safely, only she found out that the rejection of her ex-husband and mother-in-law was not due to normal choices or Caesar, not because of the choice of normal or Caesar, but because Armand did not want to spend more money for his delivery.

Though his condition requires him to be operated on, because his physical and mental condition is not good. Armand's mother almost never gave him a break from homework from the beginning of pregnancy until the eve of labor.

Not stopping there, having twins was also questioned by Armand and his mother because the expenditure doubled. The twin genes, which are of Salma descent, make the woman feel guilty and depressed.

Therefore when her doctor this time said she had to undergo a Caesarean delivery because of age and twins, the situation and feelings of guilt came back.

The sky listened to Salma's story patiently. He finally understood why his wife was so worried and frightened to face her surgery tomorrow.

"Now you are not Armand's wife, but Angkasa Wiryawan's wife. This child in your stomach, not Armand's, but mine. I'm very happy and can't wait to see them, so please give birth to them healthy and safe." Space stared fixedly and gently at his wife.
