"Don't!"
Angkasa's forehead frowned, the position of his body still leaning forward even though Salma had retreated away from his kiss.
"Why?"
"I haven't had a bath, the smell of smoke mixed with sweat" Salma said as she rubbed the sweat running down her neck.
"Then why? I just want to hug and kiss the forehead as usual," said Angkasa as he tried to walk closer.
"Go on, wake up this morning as well" Salma refused.
"Different, Honey. This is me going to work, usually like that. It's not good to leave not hug and kiss the kayak usually."
"Kiss the kids. I smell, your suit stinks." Salma took the second-generation twin's stroller, then brought them closer to her Papa.
Seeing Salma's blatant body language resisting and keeping her distance, Angkasa did not want to argue long in the morning. He crouched down in front of the baby carriage and kissed Nala and Nathan's cheeks and cheeks that were still asleep.
"Come Cakra, our Candra is leaving now too late. Are you sure you won't be dropping off on their first day of school?" Space tried to bargain once again.
"You know, but I haven't had a shower yet. I'll then pick them up from school. Cakra, Candra, I'm sorry I couldn't make it to you on the first day of school, but I promise you tomorrow Mama's delivery." Salma knelt before her twin son.
The first generation twins just nodded limply, then went straight out with their heads bowed lethargic.
"Don't promise if you're not sure you can keep it. I don't want them to feel like they lost their mother after the birth of their siblings. My presence at school on the first day they enter, it can not replace the presence of his mother but I will try" said Angkasa slowly. He knew this would make Salma feel even more guilty.
"Let's take a shower I went straight to school, Mas. I try to be quick" said Salma fretting. His eyes did not switch from Cakra and Candra who were sitting in the car with an excited face.
"No need to force it, today I'm with Cakra and Candra until they get home from school. I will comfort them and give them understanding. I'm sure they'll understand how you are, they're smart kids. I'll take the kids first." Before Salma regained consciousness, Angkasa managed to kiss her forehead, "Eh, dear. Please think again about my offer yesterday" Angkasa said before closing the car door.
Salma pulled the twin carriage back into the room. He decided to take a shower immediately, after making sure both of them were still asleep. A lightning shower with an open door with two babies in the carriage watching it from the bathroom doorway, is her daily activity since the presence of first-generation twins and was already continuing when the second generation was born.
Throughout washing her body, she recalled the conversation between her and her husband a few days ago.
"I'll get a nanny, okay? Narti will be back long, his mother is sick. You are overwhelmed if you have to take care of four children at once," said Angkasa.
That night Angkasa, who had just returned from work, found him still holding a fussy Nathan while accompanying the first generation twins playing a puzzle. The same negligee he used since morning with his hair tied up, indicating his body had not been touched by water since morning.
"I can still do it, Mom. It just so happened that he had not taken a bath, Nathan was a little fussy so his sleep had to be carried like this," elak Salma.
"What's wrong with taking one more person to help you at home?"
"Ga's no harm, just I haven't felt the need." Salma went into the room and put Nathan in the cot. He did that just because he wanted to avoid talking about babysitters.
After taking a quick shower, Salma came out of the bathroom, and sat on the edge of the bed looking at her twins. She mused over her husband's advice to take a nanny to help her.
He should be happy that Angkasa treats her like a queen and puts her comfort first. But the sheer amount of news circulating about a babysitter playing with fire with her boss, made her a little afraid of opening her door to strangers.
"No problem, it should be you who choose because that person will deal directly with you," said Angkasa as he conveyed his intention.
That morning before picking up the first-generation twins home from school, Salma accompanied Angkasa to an agency that provided a lot of labor.
Salma immediately opened sheet by sheet photo albums along with the biodata of prospective caregivers proffered by the foundation manager. Up to the last sheet, he had not pointed at any of them from there.
"Nothing is suitable?" whispered Space. He saw his wife's forehead folded indicating something was wrong with the contents of Salma's head.
"Not yet" said Salma. He re-opened the album from the front page, "Just this, Mom?" tanyanya after tired of looking.
"Yes, Mom. Our prospective workers who are ready to become caregivers currently there are 75 people. All are trained and certified. Most are also experienced," said the admin manager assured.
"Good, choose the most experienced," said Angkasa, who took a peek at the photo album from behind his wife's shoulder, "This is a lot of experience, have worked abroad as well." Space pointed to a photo.
"True, it works well. Many are suitable," said the admin manager. Salma paused for a moment to observe the photo that Space pointed at, then her head shook with her forehead folded deeper and deeper
Some photos have been appointed by Angkasa and suggested admin manager, but all of them were rejected raw and for no apparent reason from Salma.
"In the meantime, Mba I permit the discussion first with the wife," said Angkasa. He then pulled his wife's hand to the front porch, "Why isn't there anything you've chosen from that list? Are there any specific criteria you want?" ask soft Space.
"I'm looking for someone who's 50 and older" Salma said.
"There wasn't one?"
Salma shook her head, "We're looking at another agent's place, yuk" he asked.
"Why should I be over 50? is there a guarantee of age that experienced? what's no more of a danger because old age is usually less nimble at keeping babies and toddlers."
"Ga must be, but I want the old age to be nothing slow, as long as I calm down."
Angkasa narrowed his eyes, "You don't want to choose the young one, for fear that something will happen?"
"Something what?" Salma turned her face away.
"I'm tempted by a nanny for example?"
"Are there any plans to be tempted?"
Angkasa laughed so hard that he shook his head amusedly, "You forgot that Narti is also young, he is only 22 years old, sweet as well as his face. If I wanted to, she would be my wife. If there is a cheating plan, there is no need to find a nanny. Once I knew I was looking for a nanny, many models and newcomer artists who deserted the job offered themselves" said Angkasa with a proud laugh
"Oh, huh?" Salma's sharp and cynical gaze ended Space's haughty laughter.
