Kemomong Village

Kemomong Village
Inviting people to worship

The next morning Bagas and Adit did not continue their work to build the factory this morning Bagas and Adit confirmed the house assisted by Kuncoro.

Fallen doors, malfunctioning windows, and broken living room chairs.

While Ningsih and Sekar clean the house that is still a mess. They all work together with their respective activities.

After Sekar and Ningsih have finished cleaning the house. Sekar invites Ningsih to accompany him to the market to buy vegetables and side dishes for them to have lunch later.

“Mas, Ningsih and Sekar want to go to the market first,” said Ningsih who said goodbye to Adit.

“Ia Ning, be careful,” said Adit.

Ningsih and Sekar also went out of the house to the market.

Arriving at the market of residents who work as a sell and buyer was excited to talk about the undead who woke up from the grave walking towards the Kuncoro house.

“Eh Bu, last night knew nothing terrible happened,” said the vegetable seller Ningsih and Sekar came to.

“Iya Sir, I also saw, but I did not dare to go out. I close the curtains and doors tightly,” said the mothers who were buying vegetables.

“Iya Ma'am, I did not dare to go out either, and according to the news I got the bodies walking to Kuncoro's house. It is possible that Kuncoro has violated the custom of this village to marry his two daughters to residents who are not from this village Kemompong,” said Mr. vegetable seller.

Ningsih who heard they were talking about her family was upset.

“Ehem! How much is this shopping pack?” said Ningsih in a high tone.

“Eh mbak Ningsi and mbak Sekar, long invisible,” said the vegetable seller who switched the conversation.

“Udah This fast sir how much! I am lazy to linger here,” Ningsih said with a cynical tone.

“Iya ... Yes Mbah, all twenty thousand,” said the father of vegetable sellers.

“This, the money is back just take it, and be careful yes you guys talk about our family. I didn't know the bodies would come to your house one by one,” said Ningsih who frightened and left.

Just contact the face of the vegetable seller and the buyers turned a little pale due to the words that Ningsih uttered.

Ningsih and Sekar had finished shopping, they both walked back home.

The distance between their house and the market is not too far only takes 10 minutes walk.

Along the road Sekar and Ningsih talked.

“Mbak Ning, kok earlier mbak said that to the father of vegetable” asked Sekar who was innocent.

“Ha-ha-ha, let it be Sekar. Let them be afraid and can not sleep quietly tonight,” Ningsih who was very happy with his words scared the citizens.

“Indeed the bodies will come back later tonight mbak, Sekar was afraid,” Sekar said very innocently.

“Sekar, Sekar plain you, Mbah just scare them so they don't talk about our families, the corpses we have expelled where maybe they will come back, he said,” said Ningsih who explained to Sekar.

“Alhamdulillah, then mbak.”

It did not feel that Sekar and Ningsih had reached his house.

The two of them went straight to the kitchen to cook the groceries they had just bought.

In the afternoon Bagas work, Adit and Kuncoro have finished as well as lunch that Ningsih and Sekar have finished they cook and serve on the dining table.

“Sekar call Mas Adit, Bagas and also Mr to eat!” ningsih's Order.

Arriving in the living room.

“Pak, Bang Bagas and Mas Adit Let's eat first,” invite Sekar.

“Iya,” authenticate them simultaneously.

Bagas, Adit and Kuncoro went to the dining table. Arriving at the dinner table they all enjoyed the dishes cooked by Ningsih and Sekar while chatting casually.

“Oh yes Sir, according to Iwan one who works with Bagas. Ever talk he said here there is a mushola that is never used again?” ask Bagas.

“Iya Nak Bagas, the distance is not far from our house only 5 minutes from walking has arrived,” Kuncoro said.

“Bapak can gather the residents to the house, Bagas wants to invite them to clean the mosque and invite them to worship again,” said Bagas.

“Can it be, Bagas boy? Because the mind of the villagers has been washed by Mbah Seno,” Kuncoro said.

“Let Bagas arrange the pack so that residents can return to the right path,” Bagas assured Kuncoro.

“Well if so after lunch you will gather the residents to go home,” Kuncoro petrified.

“Dit it is your and my duty to convince the citizens of the path they take this wrong, and our duty is how to bring the citizens to return to his path,” said Bagas.

“Iya Mas, I'll try,” Juar Adit.

A few minutes later they had finished lunch Kuncoro went out of the house to call the people gathered at his house.

30 Minutes have passed the residents came to Kuncoro's house until finally all the residents have been gathered be it men, women, young, old and also children.

Bagas started giving directions to the villagers.

“Brothers, we mean to gather you here to give directions, the customary rituals that you practice have violated the Islamic Shari'a. In Islam alone it is not permissible to hurt others or yourself. You have hurt yourself or your loved ones with a 17-year ritual. Do you ever think your children are treated like that, they cry for help but no matter, they are not wrong why they are treated like that. Is it because of a customary ritual that requires you to be cruel. If later the customary ritual requires you to kill your own child what do you want!” said Bagas who gave a view to the villagers.

The words of Bagas made the residents see the former defects in their respective bodies.

Every woman will lose her little finger when she turns 17.

And every man will be marked with hot iron when he is 17 years old.

So did Sekar and Ningsih who were looking at the little finger on their left hand that was not there.

All residents who are female in the village of Kemombong have incomplete fingers.

Kuncoro hugged his two daughters Ningsi and Sekar opened his heart after hearing the words conveyed by Bagas. Kuncoro's heart feels guilty to her two children making them disabled for life.

“Pardon you, because your Father has been disabled for life!” said Kuncoro who felt sorry.

“Ningsih has forgiven Father,” Ningsih said.

“Bypical yes Sir.”

Bagas has managed to open the minds of the villagers to return to the right path.
