Kinara's Wait

Kinara's Wait
Ali's story part 2

"That's a new scar in Saudi Arabia, be patient. It will get to that stage." he added to Kinara who was still frozen to see the scar on Ali's back.

Kinara could only endure the tightness in the chest. Her husband suffered greatly during these six years. Thank goodness he was able to return home safely. So thought Kinara.

"In my mind at the time there was only one. It fell to the bottom of the sea, drowned and died!"

The deg!

The deg!

Kinara closed both of his eyes as Ali's hands increasingly clutched in both of his hands.

So tight.

"But no. I am still alive. All I thought about at that time was my little wife. Not to mention my whole family in Bandung. They would have been devastated to hear the news if I had been killed and disappeared."

Silent.

There was only the sound of breathing from everyone.

"One belief at the time. Kinara." Ali turned to Kinara who was now staring at him blankly.

"Kinara once promised to wait for me to come home even if at any time. I wanted to scream at this moment, but my tongue felt faint. Ternayta, the thorns that stuck all over my body were venomous and made the whole body numb in an instant. But I still strengthen myself to be able to write a letter to my wife hoping, if someone will look for me later, they will definitely find my relic letter along with a box of dongker colored velvet that I accidentally entrusted to Kinara, my wife."

Kinara still remembered the contents of the letter.

"Done with the letter, I put it in that velvet box. And without me knowing, the tree where my body survived broke instantly and I could not save myself anymore. Whereas at that time, I could hear Bang Lana and Fathir shouting roars calling my name. But it can't hold on anymore."

"This body fell down along with the broken wooden branch carrying with it my body. I can only surrender. Remembering that the mailbox was still in my hands, I threw it away as best I could. And the watch I was wearing I threw it away too. Because it contains references and only my son knows. The ivory!"

Kinara and all the other people were shocked to hear Ali's words. But do not want to interrupt because they still want to hear the continuation of the story Ali who really wanted to hear.

"My body fell rolling over and how many times it collided with the other branches. So hurt. I go to that sat. Until this self feels floating in the air and plunged into the bottomless sea. I can only look without interjection if my wife is crying and roaring calling my name before these eyes close." Further

Kinara clenched her chest as Ali told her the part. Because he was the one who really knew what Ali was like at that time through his closed eyes.

It was as if the thoughts of the two were connected back then.

"My life didn't get there. When I feel resigned because the respiratory tract is filled with sea water that is so salty and somewhat bitter, I hear someone's voice."

Everyone look at each other.

"One's voice was so clear in my ears that my eyes were closed tightly and my body was getting further and further into the sea floor. The voice said, I can't die just yet. And I have to help someone. My life is long and my wife and children are waiting for me. I spontaneously opened my eyes in the dark sea. Butno. Everything looked so bright and it was as if this body was being led in the direction of that light."

"I was shocked to see the figure of an officer waving at me while asking for help. But he couldn't get close to me. His wife was there but he couldn't see her."

Ali turned to the two people who were looking at him with smiling but wry lips.
