Rejection denied

On the peaceful shoreline, Ben and Rose walk hand in hand. The two of them were still wearing the same clothes while attending Victor and Bella's wedding earlier. Bella is now officially her sister-in-law. How happy Rose was!

"Rose, will you marry me? Being my wife and we're gonna spend our lives together until we age?" Ben opened the small box he held.

A instantly shiny one-eyed diamond ring was visible in the woman's eyes. He shone under the beautiful afternoon sky. What a temptation that torments his conscience. Normally, every woman must be very happy, right, getting something like this?! Of course Rose too. It's just...

Rose, who was smiling, turned her face into a serious one. He let out a long breath before he stepped closer to the man. He should answer the man's proposal anyway, right?!

"Sorry, Ben! I can't!" Rose closed the ring box steadily. It made Ben look shocked and then turn disappointed.

The man lowered his head, while thinking what was wrong with him. But all of this is according to plan. A beautiful place, a romantic moment, all in accordance with what Relly said. "Thank you for understanding me" Rose said sincerely, smiling.

Ben nodded. He knows if a relationship is about compromise of two people. Rose is her lover not her subordinate who always follows her orders. So it was only to Rose that she would compromise during this lifetime.

"Then comfort me because you have rejected my proposal!" Suddenly the man also sulked.
