5. Early Genesis

After running far enough away and no one was chasing them anymore, they stopped at a plot of land in the middle of a thicket nearly two meters high that made their view limited.

"Anjixx, squirm what the cave just now."

Arie cussed in shock, fear and anger all at once, with breathless breathing and a face that turned pale again.

Danu asked in surprise, because she did not see anything, all he knew was that he only heard a voice in the bushes and had not seen anything behind it and all of a sudden it went quickly without knowing what was happening.

Replied Arie briefly who had Beni and Danu upset.

"Udah, what matters now that we're far away from that place, maybe any creature doesn't chase us anymore."

Randy ended their conversation which had the potential to be a minor debate. Sweat drenched in thick jackets they wear, making the cold more attacking. For a long time they sat quietly in silence without realizing something dangerous for them.

"We should make a tent around here, we find a place that is not too lush, tomorrow we just find a way out."

Randy tried to give a solution calmly, although he was sure it would not treat his friends' disappointment over the incident.

"Lo crazy huh? What if the creature comes again?"

Beni protested Randy's proposal because here he thought it was a dangerous place, he was worried about anything happening to them, especially with his lover Anita, the tall bushes, he said, the lush and dark surrounding them was a suitable place for savage beasts to lurk prey, and it was possible that they were currently prey.

Feeling cornered, Randy stared intently at Beni waiting for a better answer or solution than he proposed, but none of them dared to make a proposal, they can only be silent because in a place like this taking a decision without careful consideration can be dangerous for all of them.

By not talking to each other they continue the journey, even though they do not know where they are going, but for now they must be together and take care of each other.

It didn't take long for them to find a place to set up a tent, though, a small field of land that is still surrounded by bushes but not too high and large trees that are not too lush is considered enough to set up three tents for them

"The cave is enough to make three tents, how?"

Randy asked the opinion of the others, but it seemed like the others agreed because they had no other choice, even though they were just silent but kernil and all the goods they brought immediately they put down.

They immediately put up the tent one by one, as well as Randy, he was helped by Arie but it seems Arie helped him half-heartedly or indeed just because they were one tent so Arie would help, so Arie would help, the two of them did not talk to each other until each tent they installed was finished and ready to be occupied.

This time Randy spoke carefully, he was very understanding of their current situation that was not like him.

On the left-arm watch that Randy wore, time had shown 00:13 past midnight, it's been about 15 minutes since Danu and Arie went looking for firewood but there's no sign of them coming back.

Suddenly there was a scream from inside the forest, and shortly after that Arie again ran alone with a face that was very pale and frightened and with eyes bulging but his gaze was empty, he said, like I've seen something terrible.

Beni and Randy who heard the screams were shocked to see Arie's condition returning alone with worrying conditions.

"Rie, Rie, loe why? Where's danu?"

Beni panicked to see the condition of his friend like that who returned without Danu.

"The two don't know Ben."

Arie sat staggered as he buried his face on both knees, his body shaking violently from the cold and fear, his hand holding his own head which seemed to be unable to bear, like wanting to break given the incident earlier.

"And you're dead Ben."

Arie suddenly hysterical and then stood up and held the collar of Beni's jacket, Beni also released Arie's hand grip on the collar of his jacket with a rough.

"That thing killed Danu Ben."

He shouted again and then limp and sat back down crying.

Beni who heard that was silent while Aini was now crying in Anita's arms knowing her lover had died in such a way.

"Now you wait here, the cave wants to find the creature."
