LAST CLIMB (EPS.1)

LAST CLIMB (EPS.1)
9. Revealed

Beni and Anita have walked quite far from where they were before, unexpectedly they are now near a small dark cave but that means luck slightly favors them both, without a second thought they decided to rest and hide in the mouth of the cave, at that place at least maybe a little safer than they had to be in the open for a long time. After they search for Arie and Aini but until the attack by the masked man, Aini and Arie are not found, either, there was not even a trace or a hint of them being left behind that indicated that they were safe or had died.

Beni and Anita fell silent in the mouth of the cave, they did not talk to each other, but Beni's hand still tightly grasped Anita's hand to calm her down, that's all she can do for now.

"Maybe they're lost."

Said Beni, deliberately he said like that so Anita can think positive, even though he himself is not sure Arie and Aini are currently safe and still alive. Being in a place like this apart from other friends is a bad thing.

"Ben, if the cave dies here, please take the same old cave, if the cave loves them."

Sounding from the sentence, it can be ascertained that Anita began to despair about what they are experiencing at this time.

"Loe can not say that Ta, the cave will keep you, wherever you have to be safe, because.gua dear loe Ta."

Beni hugged her lover tightly, trying to give her strength and confidence to get through what is happening right now.

"The cave will protect you to death Ta." Say again.

It was afternoon, even before night returned, they decided to spend the night in the cave, armed with lighting from a flashlight that Beni brought. They ignored the hunger because they thought of a way out of the forest, even though their energy has been drained because in all day time they only consume bread and snacks which of course will not be enough to replace their energy.

Beni rested her body on the wall of the cave trying to lie as comfortable as possible, while Anita was in Beni's arms, so that no fatigue made both of them sleep.

After a long time asleep, Beni's hearing was disturbed by the sound from inside the cave, Beni opened his eyes and circulated his gaze around the cave that was not too dark, slowly he discovered what made him wake up and after faintly seeing what was standing not so far away from him, Beni gasped.

"Who are you?"

Said Beni who could not believe seeing the person in the darkness standing staring at him, Beni's voice that was too loud to make Anita wake up and see what Beni saw, Anita rushed to hide behind Beni's body.

"Calm down, I'll save you."

He said in a calm voice. For a moment Beni thought about something that not long ago he and his friends did before the climb.

"Who is this grandpa?"

Beni had seen the old figure behind the darkness, curious about the figure of the old grandfather who was now in front of him, the instant the lamp carried by the grandfather was lit.

"This grandfather," Beni thought for a moment with doubt that maybe the old man could get to this place. "That pigtail, right?" The grandfather smiled and nodded slowly confirming Beni's guess.

"Why is Grandpa here?"

This time Beni began to suspect the grandfather, their meeting in a place like this was so unreasonable, with caution Beni grasped a stone the size of a fist so that if suddenly the grandfather in front of him attacked him at least Beni can do a little resistance.

"Before I tell you everything, you better eat first."

Said the grandfather while giving a package of food using leaves containing rice and side dishes that are very tempting worms in their stomachs, for a moment Beni looked at Anita as if she said "how is this?" But he did not understand Anita's reply to him Beni looked at the old man before him and looked for the truth that he might find, but his doubts were slightly defeated by the extreme hunger.

"Don't be afraid, I don't mean to be evil."

He said it again as if he understood what Beni was thinking, then Beni took it by staying alert, staying alert, after being in his hands the food he gave to Anita who was behind him without the slightest detachment from the old man. After he thought it was safe, the two of them began to eat the food, too, at first they enjoyed the old grandfather's food slowly and carefully but as his fear began to disappear, the food that was in front of them before them had now moved in their stomachs.

"Where are your friends?"

"Two of our friends died cake, and two more people we haven't found, they're gone."

Beni's words actually made the grandfather smile meaningfully, and Beni who saw it again became suspicious but she just kept quiet to pay attention to the motion of the grandfather, the grumbling, and the man who saw it again became suspicious, he still did not trust the grandfather completely.

"Then this afternoon someone attacked the cake." Say again.

"It seems to have started."

The smile that had previously adorned the grandfather's face now began to disappear and turned into a serious gaze after his last words earlier. Beni was curious about what the old man said.

"What do you really know?"

Beni looked at him sharply, he felt that there was something terrible that he would hear in a moment. The grandfather took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly, like there was a heavy burden to be told.

"Around this place, there's a group of people who worship not God, but they adore the devil, your dead friend is grandfather's grandson, he died trying to find out about the demon worshippers, and trying to stop them."

The pupils of Beni's eyes grew up hearing what the old man said, in his mind now imagined about Randy and Danu who had been killed.

"So Danu and Randy are..."

Not yet Beni continued the word, the grandfather cut it with a headband.

"My grandson is just Randy..."

He said with a bitter smile to accept the reality, but proud of the struggle of his grandson.

"Are you sure your other friends are dead?"

Getting such a question, Beni and Anita had yet to understand what grandfather meant.

"I mean grandpa?" Ask Beni briefly.

"Your friends are devils' worshipers."

Grandfather's words were like lightning striking them, how not, those who had been considered like his own brother were perverts who had been pretending to be good.

"No way cake, they're dead."

Beni denied resentfully hearing Grandfather's words, and did not accept them even though her little heart asked "is that true?".

"Did you find your friend's body?"

Grandpa's question this time was right to silence Beni, he could not say anything more.

"But I don't know yet which of your three friends is a devil worshiper, could be one, or two, and maybe even all three."

Grandpa's words make Beni think and try to analyze every incident they experience that might make him find clues about who the grandfather was referring to.

"So who are they?"
