Dinner arrived, everyone had gathered in the backyard of Karren's house, as usual they did often eat together, especially if Khansa and Kalandra came to Indonesia.
Kalandra had arrived just as the maghrib reverberated, as usual, mami Khansa immediately told about her son and granddaughter, but Kalandra was more interested in the story of Karren who was approaching her neighbor and her own lecturer.
“Karren, why didn't you invite that man?” ask Kalandra.
“Whose men mean grandpa?” asked Karren who pretended not to understand.
“Males you are approaching.” Kalandra Reply.
Karren had already memorized that his grandmother must have immediately told everything to his grandfather, only this time it was seen that his grandfather was also interested in Gibran.
“Aan the hell grandpa, I don't deket same anyone kok.” Karren.
“Udah follow me aja grandpa Ren, call gih Gibranya so that later side dishes who want mami kasih can make tomorrow morning.” Sahut Key's.
“Asaan mam, don't tell me, just tell Darren.” Karren said as he pointed towards Darren with his chin.
“Dih ogah! I'm not the one who's getting it again, Gibran.” It was Darren who happened to hear Karren and Key.
Karren snorted in annoyance, he immediately turned his head towards his grandfather who was nodding like a code to bring Gibran before him.
“OK I brought him here, hopefully he wants ya.” Said Karren who immediately went from his seat and went to the house of Gibran which was across the house.
Karren, who was wearing only a T-shirt and shorts, immediately approached Gibran's house and knocked on the door, which was wide open, and even Karren could see Gibran sitting in a lounge chair guests looking at their laptops.
Hearing there is a knock from the outside makes the owner of the house turn to the origin of the sound.
“Karren?” gibran said as he saw Karren standing at his doorstep.
“What's up? Why are you out wearing a shirt like this?” gibran asked as he examined Karren's appearance from top to bottom.
“Why even comment on my shirt? I'm at home so I don't have to wear long clothes, right?” karren's reply.
“But..” just Gibran wanted to reply Karren, but stopped when Karren's hand lifted up.
“Can't you do a lecture anyway? I'm tired of you talking constantly, now I'm here to go to Gibran for dinner with my family.” Karren.
“Eatnight together?” ask Gibran while frowning.
“Yes, grandpa wants to see who is the person who has made me crazy.” Karren's words made Gibran's cheeks instantly red with embarrassment.
Karren tried to hold back his laughter as much as possible when he saw Gibran's timid facial expression.
“Ehem! How's it? Want to go to mas?” asked Karren who managed to break down Gibran's daydreams.
“Hah? Uh, well I'll come, there's no way I refuse an older person's invitation.” Gibran.
“What!? I mean I'm older then?” asked Karren in annoyance.
“Not you, he said earlier you want to see me of course I have to come.” Gibran.
“Oh so, yaudah let's go to my house.” Take Karren.
“Wait, I change clothes first.” Gibran.
“Ngapain change clothes?” asked Karren while looking at Gibran from top to bottom.
“Ga politely if I wear this kind of clothes at family dinner.” Gibran.
“Ga problem, anyway the pants in wear are also not thin color pants kok.” Karren said, directly pulling Gibran's arm.
“Wait for Karren, I have to close my door first.” Gibran said that Karren stopped his steps and immediately allowed Gibran to close the door of his house first.
At home, Karren invites Gibran into the backyard and meets his entire family.
Gibran was very nervous, maybe if with Bernard and Key he could be said to be familiar because often greeting and chatting, but with others Gibran really never met.
“Grandpa, this is Gibran's future granddaughter-in-law Grandpa.” Karren said with his frontal introducing Gibran to the grandfather.
Gibran glared at Karren's truly too honest remark, he swallowed his salvila and smiled clumsyly at the creepy looking Kalandra.
“Pfftt, I'd love to have him be like you, Ren!" sahut Darren laughs at Karren.
Karren was upset by his cousin's words, he was eager to scratch Darren's face, just that he couldn't do it because there was Gibran beside him.
"Darren, you've always seduced your brother!" andini to her son.
"Yes I'm sorry." said Darren, lowering his head.
Karren stuck his tongue out at Darren to mock him.
"Gibran, sit down do not stand still" said Kalandra invited Karren to sit in a chair next to Karren.
Since it was only the seat that was empty, otherwise Gibran would have preferred to sit next to Bernard who had talked to him often.
"Why shut up? Uncomfortable sitting next to Karren?" ask Kalandra back.
"Not like that, sir..."
"Don't call me sir, call me granda just like Karren and Darren." Kalandra said.
"Ah well sir, uh om, uh grandpa" said Gibran who constantly mispronounced.
Seeing that makes everyone there hold back laughter, especially Karren and Darren, because Gibran a killer lecturer can be nervous when dealing with Kalandra.
Well, indeed everyone recognizes the assertiveness of Kalandra, Kalandra is the smartest if asked to intimidate his interlocutors and no one can match it.
"I've heard a lot about you from my daughter, my wife and my grandchildren, but I want to get to know you even closer" Kalandra explained.
Gibran, who was still groggy, took a deep breath and smiled after his heart began to beat steadily.
"Either what they tell me about me to the grandpa, but it's an honor for me because the grandpa can get curious about me" Gibran said.
Kalandra just smiled in response to Gibran's words, and dinner began.
At first Gibran was very awkward and nervous, but over time he was able to unite with the Kalandra family, especially when the family was very welcome to him.
Just this time Gibran saw there was a family who joked loose like friends but did not reduce the slightest sense of courtesy.
Even Gibran, who had just gotten to know the family, was like his own family, and Gibran was comfortable there.
