Chapters. 019: Eating Together

Xiao Chen was currently standing alone in the darkness, right in front of him was a screen displaying the bad memories that had happened to him in his previous life.

"Sucks... Why should I dream about this?" Xiao Chen realized that he was dreaming right now.

Xiao Chen paused for a moment then smiled, "Thank you for the offer." Xiao Chen hurriedly sat down next to the middle-aged man who was not wearing any clothes.

"Have you eaten, boy? We'll give you some if you want."

"Thank you, but I have my own supplies..." Xiao Chen waved his hand to the side and brought up the large meat in front of him.

Of course the soldiers and workers who saw him were surprised, "Are you the one who hunted him yourself?" Asked one of the knights in a curious tone, he certainly knew that the meat in front of the little boy was a White Tiger.

"Yes. I'm just lucky to kill him when he's off guard." Xiao Chen replied then chimed in, "I want to burn this meat, do you guys want it?"

"I didn't. Just a moment ago I ate..." Answer one of the knights and be followed by the others.

Xiao Chen smiled awkwardly when he heard that none of them wanted to eat the meat of his quarry, he naturally knew that they were still wary of its existence.

Xiao Chen did not say much and began to cut the meat using hands that were already Qi coated. After that, he started burning it and made a fragrant aroma come out of the meat.

Xiao Chen immediately raised the meat when it was ripe and ate it. The people around Xiao Chen gulped when they saw him eating.

"Pulse... Little kid. It seems that meat is very tasty, can I ask for it?" Ask a 30-year-old worker.

Xiao Chen who was chewing directly stared at the worker, he smiled and nodded his head quickly.

Seeing the black-robed little boy nod, the worker who had just asked immediately smiled widely and picked up the meat that was in front of Xiao Chen. He didn't take too much because he still knew himself.

The worker burns the raw meat and eats it when it is fully cooked. The taste of the meat is very good, it may be one of the most delicious foods he has ever eaten.

"Brother, is it really that good?" Ask a friend about 20 years old.

"certain. This is one of the best foods I've ever tasted in my life..." He answered with a mouth full of flesh.

Xiao Chen naturally allowed them, he did not mind if his hunting meat was exhausted because he liked this kind of atmosphere.

They chatted happily while eating the hunted meat, until finally the atmosphere became silent when someone came out from the inside of the ship.

A woman in a bright blue dress, she was none other than Yu Luan Ling. He stared at the group of knights and workers who were surrounding the campfire, until his gaze towards Xiao Chen who was now chewing on meat.

The two stared for quite a while until Yu Luan Ling finally jumped onto one of the tallest roofs of the ship. He walked away until he was no longer seen.

Xiao Chen was silent for a while then asked, "If it's not wrong she's the third princess isn't it? What's he doing?" Ask curiously.

"We also don't know, he sometimes sits on the edge of the roof looking at the sea. Once, one of us approached him... And he was immediately beaten up with disturbing excuses."

Xiao Chen who heard that answer immediately laughed bitterly, "He is completely different from the Luan Ling I knew in my past life. Their faces are indeed similar but for a very inversely proportional nature."

On the other hand, Yu Luan Ling heard the conversation of all of them. He only smiled at the joke the knight said.

A few minutes later, "Do you like looking at the moon, third princess?" A voice sounded and made Yu Luan Ling turn around.

Yu Luan Ling was a little surprised that the one who spoke was Xiao Chen. He said nothing and turned his back on his body.

Xiao Chen himself did not move an inch and asked, "I was curious, why did you allow me to board this ship. Don't you have any suspicions about me?"

"You dare to bother me even after hearing what the knight said, where did your courage come from?" An indifferent voice came out from Yu Luan Ling's mouth, "I gave you a lift just because it was limited to 'Pity'. No need to think of anything else..."

Xiao Chen smiled, "I'll remember it, thank you for your generosity..." He said and left from there.

"Although he was colder than the Luan Ling I had known in my past life, his kind nature and shyness had still not changed one bit." Inner Xiao Chen was pleased.

Gao Lan herself did not reply to him and instantly disappeared from there without the slightest trace.
