Chapters. 033: Xiao Chen Vs Granny Chu Yan

A group of four men appeared, they approached Lu Ren, Qiao Yu and Qiao Jifeng who were fast asleep.

"Hmm, there should be four people, right? Where's the other one?" Asked one of the men in a curious tone.

When one of them wanted to answer him, suddenly there was the sound of footsteps from behind and they quickly turned around.

In an instant the head of one of them was cut off and blood poured out so heavily that it littered the clean floor. Of course it made those who were left to be surprised.

Not being able to make a sound, one by one their heads were severed quickly. Xiao Chen who managed to kill all four let out a short sigh, "Where is he?" His mutter asked in a slow voice then spread his Spiritual Awareness to encompass this small village.

A few hundred meters from here, there was a group of people standing guard in front of a small building. Grandma Chu Yan was chatting with them then entered the building.

"They're bandits..." Xiao Chen wondered. However he thought they were too strong for the bandit class, as the four men he had just killed were at the nine-star Qi Foundation realm.

Xiao Chen then lifted Lu Ren and Qiao Jifeng up by flanking their bodies between his arms. After which, he directly walked out of the house and led them towards the forest nearby.

Qiao Jifeng and Lu Ren were placed on top of a large tree, Xiao Chen then took a few small meridians of the two of them in order to wake up faster.

After doing so, Xiao Chen hurriedly left from there and left the two of them still sound asleep. By the time she reached the village, Grandma Chu Yan appeared in front of her along with a few men, and one of them was carrying Qiao Yu on the right shoulder.

"I didn't expect, a boy could have survived to this extent despite already eating food mixed with high doses of sleeping pills." Grandma Chu Yan said with a smile etched on her lips. He thought the dark red-robed young man had a trick that could neutralize the effects of sleeping pills.

"That child, should not be underestimated..." Grandma Chu Yan took out a plain black colored dagger. He took a ready-to-fight position and then had the person carrying Qiao Yu go into the building.

After that, Chu Yan's grandmother did not make the slightest move and waited for the right time to attack.

On the other hand, Xiao Chen had already killed over five people who were at the Qi Foundation realm and above, they kept coming and made him quite surprised because when spreading his Spiritual Awareness earlier he did not find this many people.

"It looks like they came from outside the village..." Xiao Chen muttered on the sidelines of the fight.
