Legend of the Heavenly God

Legend of the Heavenly God
Ch. 62 ~ Family Wasted 2

The dusk fog had begun to disappear along with that knickknacks of city lights slowly being seen. Tan hao frowned when he saw the change in scenery that occurred. It was not without reason, he felt that there was something unusual in Ancestral Lan's family.

Tan Hao repeatedly glanced at Ancestor Lan who was beside him, there were many questions that were in his head but he was unable to utter.

A few hours had passed since the last conversation, Tan hao decided to ask a light question first. He thought to get to know the family that has been taking care of him so far is a must.

"Grandfather Lan, how long have I been on the verge of death,-!! I feel like it's only been a few days since the last time I realized..?" tanya Tan hao briefly broke the silence that occurred.

"Hm.. About four years ago,-!! It's quite natural that you feel that way. Four years ago I found you on a river stone in a bad condition" Ancestor Lan said with a look of innocence.

Tan hao had not yet asked, Ancestor Lan resumed her words.

"For a long time I wanted to know,-?? Actually where you come from and what kind of events you're going through that make you dying,-!!"

Tan hao paused for a moment thinking of finding the right sentence to answer Ancestor Lan's question, Tan hao recalled Goddess LianHua's message in silence. Makes her feel like she has to be honest with the reality she is experiencing. The little thing is a strong foothold for something big and that includes honesty.

After a few breaths, Tan hao started with a faint smile.

"I'm actually from phoenix island. At the age of 13 it was the first time I had come out of the island and met the swordsman of the Seven Golden Spears sect in the tavern who was having trouble with the black swordsman, long story short in less than a year I became part of the sect, as long as it was enough that I did, until it came to the day that I was required to destroy the black sect, Green Valley. And I was currently dealing with a sect leader who was a strength one level higher than me. But, um..-!!"

Tan hao shook his head slowly with his eyes closed as if regretting the mistake he made. Tan hao feels guilty for people because in fact he is not smart enough to judge the situation and the ability of the opponent.

Ancestor Lan could clearly see the change in the look of Tan hao's face only once the lyrics, she understood that the continuation of the story must be the reason that made Tan hao end badly.

"If it's heavy, it's better not to. I'm not forcing you. Only, if we have made a mistake once and failed because of it, it means we are one step ahead to achieve the right goal. Depending on your heart and mind you take to which path,-!! Something in this world is just pseudo, believe me if I say so. Above our sky there is another world that contains great people with abilities that are beyond our comprehension. The point is, never be arrogant if you are better than other humans. Hehh.."

Ancestor Lan turned her head to look at the starry night sky. He said something no one should know about. Tan Hao unexpectedly, the grandfather who was beside him had vast knowledge. A small smile adorned Tan hao's face.

"You're right Grandpa Lan,-!! I trust your word. I used to make mistakes but now I'm aware of that. In my unconsciousness, I found enlightenment and it was strengthened after hearing your explanation. I'm so grateful to you,-!!"

Tan hao did the same with ancestor Lan, the two of them looked quite familiar with occasionally chuckling for no reason.

The night sky looks very beautiful combined with small grains of light in the direction of the city, looks like a reflection of stars in the sky. The view from the height was enough to make them able to see widely. Even though the mountain breezes feel very cold at night but they look unperturbed by it.

Ancestor Lan also told about her granddaughter's daughter. All the stories contain elements of pride making Tan hao silently listen with curiosity. Every now and then Ancestor Lan laughed sometimes in anguish, Tan hao quite understood that.

He became curious, what kind of granddaughter Ancestor Lan was. Tan hao felt that it was the girl who had a big hand in her treatment. Although he no longer desired to gather female warriors as his companions, he thought it would be great if the girls were what he had heard from Ancestor Lan's story.

For a moment Tan hao remembered the Goddess of the Four Imperiors he formed, still listening calmly to each Ancestor Lan's story. Tan hao wanted to find out how they were doing but right now their place was very far apart.

"Ran, Wen, Zey, Sui.. I hope you'll be okay. Forgive me for putting you in my life. I promise I'll see you guys someday. I hope that by then you guys have become really great." Inner Tan hao while looking at the four stars in the sky that emit bright light for a moment.

"Ahh I've been starving, these people are actually hunting what a long time ago." lamented Ancestor Lan while holding his stomach with a hearty expression.

Tan hao smiled wryly at her, as he recalled his attitude a few years ago. Then he got up from his seat after a long sigh.

"We should just wait for them inside Grandpa, it's too cold for me to stay in the highlands like this" Tan said briefly.

Ancestor Lan's attitude was indeed what it was as if he had regarded Tan hao as a member of his own family. He felt a lot of resemblance when he was young.

"Ah right, I remember having some good wine. Let's wait while enjoying my wine, you're old enough to try it, ha ha ha.."

"But grandpa, I,-!!

Tan hao actually wanted to say that he did not drink wine but Ancestor Lan cut his words while pulling his wrist.

After a while, Ancestor Lan came carrying a few bottles of wine with two small glasses. Then he sat down in front of Tan hao and placed the wine bottle on the small table. Ancestor Lan poured the wine in just half a small glass then gave it to Tan hao.

"Try, this is the best wine I've ever made, I named the Eternal Mountain Arak, hahaha."

Tan hao just silently looked at it with a gulp. He did not expect that the time would come for him to drink wine without being able to refuse it. With a faltering hand gesture he grabbed the small glass that Ancestor Lan was holding.

"Grandfather, can it be replaced with milk only. I don't think this is good for me, uh,-"

Tan hao looked at the wine in his hand as if he was reluctant to consume it. He tried to ask to be replaced with milk. But Ancestor Lan's reaction that held back laughter made Tan hao awkward.

"Ohh come.. You're not a baby anymore. Do you know, this is good milk for grown men. Try it, you'll like it when you feel it."

Ancestor Lan gulped down the first glass while Tan hao with his hands felt very heavy trying to drink it without being able to resist anymore because he looked at Ancestor Lan without blinking as if forcing her gently.

Glleekkkf..

With a single sip of half a glass of wine that became the first time he drank it immediately ran out without stopping in the mouth.

"How,-!! Favoring isn't.. Ha ha ha.." Ancestor Lan's crisp laughter looked so happy to see Tan hao gulp down the wine even though it was only half a small glass.

Tan hao was silent for a moment after taking a sip of wine, his throat was noticeably warmed up a moment later. Tan hao's reaction seemed to have regrets but he did not deny that the wine he drank was very good because he felt it did not taste bad and quite delicious for the first person to drink it like it.

The two of them finally dissolved into enjoying the wine with the occasional interspersed story of the unreasonable story of Ancestor Lan, although not so intoxicating but clearly Tan hao felt his head was so dizzy after spending five glasses of wine filled in half.

"Grandfather I came home, I brought a lot of food for us."

There was a shouting sound from outside the house, Ancestor Lan was quite familiar with that voice. But Tan Hao was surprised. He felt like it was so bad to just meet the girl. With heavy movements he tried to stand up.

Lan Lihua opened the door of the house while carrying a fruit basket.

"Look at my fruiting grandfather..ba.wa,-!!"

Lan Lihua was shocked stunned to see the figure of a handsome and dashing young man standing beside her grandfather. Without realizing it the fruit basket he held fell that scattered fruits in all directions.

His two hands closed their mouths unblinkingly, his body trembling small. Lan Lihua seemed to be in disbelief at what she saw.

"Huar'er hurry in. Why are you standing in the middle of the door like that. Dad so can't ma...suk,-!! Ahh you.the young man.. How can."

Feng Zhenzu also reacted as surprised as Lan Lihua but he could quickly set his shock.

While Tan hao felt clumsy and awkward about the situation. His half-drunkness made it quite difficult to manage the greeting.

Everything was silent for quite a while even Ancestor Lan was like she did not want to explain anything, she still enjoyed her wine casually.

An apple rolls about Tan hao's shoes, making him find a way to say hello. Slowly he took the apple and walked slowly towards Lan Lihua.

"Welcome home, sweet lady. Thanks for the apple."

Sapa Tan hao with a friendly face accompanied by her thin smile while raising an apple and bringing her face closer to Lan Lihua.
