Let Me Love Your Wife (Not an Ex)
Choosing the Ring

Just at noon, Reyvan and Izal arrive at the Arkatama Office. However, only Reyvan got out of the car, while Izal went back to meet a client who was waiting at the restaurant outside the office.

With a steady step, Reyvan walked into the elevator and into his room on the seventh floor. There weren't many employees he met, maybe they were having lunch downstairs. However, there was one who immediately greeted before he entered the room.

"Mr Rey!"

Reyvan. Zara is coming. She is a beautiful and intelligent young woman. Although the appearance is simple, but very alluring, especially if you are talking. His voice was melodious, but not seductive, entangling one to awe without thinking about taboos. No wonder he was so successful with his post—supervisor marketing.

Reyvan continued to stare at the small steps that were getting closer to him. Then, a sheet of brown paper decorated with ribbons is propped on him.

"There was an invitation from Shan Senor Company, the receptionist left it to me" Zara said.

"Thank you." Reyvan answered, taking the invitation. Then, bring him into the room.

Shan Senor is the largest electronics company in the country. It is said that there are already several branch offices established in neighboring countries. However, whether true or not, the owner never gave a clarification. One thing is certain, Shan Senor production has mastered the international market. Not only in Asia, but also in other continents.

"Get the year of the company" Reyvan murmured after reading the sheet.

He smelled a smile. An award received an official invitation from Shan Senor, considering their company is engaged in a different field, as well as the social status that is far above it.

Reyvan won't miss a chance. He will definitely come and leave a good impression, thankfully there is a gap to get a new relationship.

At the same time, in a different place, Elle sat on the car bench holding the hand of the much-loved man—Alroy Kenedrick Zee. Although his mind was very chaotic, but Elle tried as calmly as possible. He did not want to burden his older brother.

"Look around since you got restless, what's going on?" ask Alroy.

"You'll be gone a long time, of course I'm sad. I must miss you, brother," lied Elle. In fact, she was currently thinking of something more than longing for her brother.

"Pray everything goes well, then I'll be back soon."

"I always pray for you. But, I'm afraid God won't answer my prayers" Elle replied.

"Do you doubt the greatness of God?"

"No." Elle rested her head on Alroy's shoulder. "Just .. This fact makes me dare not expect more" he continued in his heart.

Shortly after, the car stopped at the international airport. The driver got down and took a wheelchair in the trunk, then helped his master to sit there.

It just so happens that their flight is not long. So, the driver immediately took his master to the plane room and made sure he was safe in the wheel chair. After that, he went back to see Elle and handed her a wheelchair.

"Make sure he's safe until the destination. Let me know when you get there. The slightest development ... tell me," said Elle.

"Good, Miss." The driver nodded obediently. Then leave Elle.

After the driver left, Elle looked around, at the people passing by. Then, he smiled bitterly, feeling sad with his life that was not as free as them. There is an invisible circle that traps him in fragility, even to fight for love alone he cannot.

As Elle was still pondering, suddenly her phone rang, one highly avoided contact name plastered on the screen.

"Hallo," said Elle.

"Where are you, Elle?" ask someone from across there.

"I'm still at the airport, Brother Alroy just got in." Elle answered while cursing, trying to brush off the tightness that was squeezing her breathing cavity.

"I've been waiting for you at Diamond."

"May I wait until Brother Alroy takes off?" asked Elle expectantly.

Without waiting for a response, the person disconnects the phone unilaterally. Elle gripped her phone tightly. He was eager to vent emotions, but did not know where to go.

"Gee!" furious Elle.

With tears almost falling, Elle kept her wheelchair and then drove her car. Although the heart never wants this choice, circumstances force it to do so.

_____________

Half an hour's drive away, it felt very short for Elle. Understandably, he did not expect a meeting with someone waiting for him at Diamond, even if it were possible, he wanted to avoid that person forever.

"I must be strong. Even if I can't make myself happy, at least I can make the people around me happy" Elle said before getting out of the car.

After her heart calmed down, Elle stepped down and stole the attention of several pairs of eyes. A beautiful paras with bright brown hair, looks graceful walking in the scorching sun. The ideal body posture is wrapped in a short dress in red, very harmonious with smooth white skin.

Elle continued walking, regardless of people's gazes, both implying admiration and malice. He won't add to the burden of thinking about people's responses to him.

In the distance, Elle saw the figure of a man who had a deadly gaze. The aura of good looks was still emanating clearly even though he was no longer young. However, Elle was not in the least bit amazed. He already has a figure of worship that always fills the space of the heart, now, tomorrow, or later.

"Sorry I was late, that's___"

"Pick what you like!" concluded the man without listening to Elle's explanation.

Elle exhaled a long breath while slipping the child's hair blocking the view. Then, he approached the storefront and stared at the five limited edition rings on display there.

Elle didn't really listen to the saleswoman's explanation for the ring. Whether the designer, the ingredients, or the price, nothing matters according to Elle. Even if he could, he didn't want to take any of those rings, nor any of the other rings related to the man beside him.

"I want this one, Ma'am." Elle dropped the original choice on the ring with a red gemstone. Who would have thought, it turned out that the ring was the most expensive.

"A very good choice, Miss. In this country there is none. There is only one pair and it is not sold separately. You're very lucky to have it, miss," said the salesperson with a big smile.

After returning a fleeting smile, Elle shuffled and approached her man.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know it was the most expensive. Should it be exchanged?" whispered.

"Take it. I'm not a poor man" the man said quickly.

Elle closed for a moment, trying to dampen the emotions that were again rising. Arrogan because power makes Elle more fed up with the man, especially with his very coercive nature.

After paying for the ring, the man took Elle and took her to the car.

"Give me the keys to your car, let him carry it!" the man orders while glancing at the driver at a glance.

"Yes." Yeah." Elle nodded.

After handing over the car keys, Elle sat down beside the wheel. He was silent even though he did not know where to take him.

"I've ordered the best dress for our engagement. You must not refuse! Our show is attended by many people and I want you to look charming."

"Yes" answered Elle

He resigned because he knew reject was free. In this condition, the man has the authority to make decisions. While he, accept it or not, must still accept it.
