"You been a long time?" ask Elle for a little chat. Reyvan's face was very flat and cold, to the point that Elle felt awkward while sitting opposite him.

"How are you?" Elle's still making small talk.

"I thought .. Alroy's state is the only thing you've hidden from me, Elle. But, apparently not. You also hid your family's past while in Spain. Besides those two things, what else are you hiding from me, Elle?" Reyvan stared hard.

"I .. i___" Elle stuttered. For the second time Reyvan met him with disappointment because of a secret that he had never previously revealed.

"Two years we've been in a relationship, whatever it is to me, I share it with you. But you're not doing the same thing. You hide things, even cover them up with lies."

"I'm sorry" whispered Elle with her head bowed.

"Just a few months you've known Maverick, but you've believed in him and shared all that with him. While I'm two years old, you don't believe me at all. Now I know who you really love and you think is special, Elle," Reyvan said.

"Rey, you misunderstood. It's not what you think it is" Elle said.

"Stop talking love and stop promising hope. I don't need any falsehood. Be happy with Maverick, I will be happy with others, with women who can appreciate me and consider me important in life." Reyvan's words managed to make Elle's eyes glaze over.

"Rey, listen to my explanation!" Elle grabbed Reyvan's arm, which had risen.

"Imagine if it happens to you, you know my secret from the person who is my partner. Happy or disappointed?" Reyvan looked at Elle intently. "I've loved you all the time, even after you've been married I still love you. But, I was like a fool when Maverick talked about you, because I didn't know anything. Imagine that, Elle!" continued.

"I was wrong, but I did it because I love you, Rey. I don't want you to know my flaws. I___"

"If your hope is that I only love your strengths, what kind of future past are you talking about? Elle's heart is broken, it hurts when a much loved man no longer wants to know her. So painful inside that he felt, Elle's body limp and almost collapsed. Luckily there was a burly hand that caught him, which then carried him in a warm embrace.

"Don't cry here, your sadness will be a spectacle of people" whispered the man with the scent of mint.

Elle did not answer, but according to him when the man who was none other than Maverick carried her and carried her into the car.
