Chapter 96 HE'S FINE

Arneta returned to his original position, Arneta again landed his ass in a long iron chair where the hospital patient waiters. Asa's relief in Arneta's heart hears Abby's stable condition, though it has not fully recovered.

Sarfa sat beside Arneta, Sarfa lowered her head. There was a feeling of guilt because it had thrown words that would surely hurt Arneta.

"I know I'm the most guilty person here" Arneta said.

"That's not what I mean," Sarfa cut.

"What should be sorry is me, not you" Arneta replied.

Sarfa's feelings were immediately unpleasant. Actually Sarfa did not intend to issue sharp words for Arneta, but because in a panic Sarfa issued his teeth without thinking first.

"Neta, I really didn't mean it that way" Sarfa said. Arneta simply replied to Sarfa with a smile. But that smile was a bitter smile.

It was getting late lunch hour was almost over. Sarfa ventured to take Arneta to eat.

"Neta, you want to. eat?" ask Sarfa.

"No, thank you" replied Arneta.

"But it's almost past lunchtime" Sarfa tried to get Arneta.

"I'm not hungry. If you want to eat please," replied Arneta.

"You want me to buy you something to prop up your stomach!" hail Sarfa again.

"I'm not hungry," again Arneta assesses Sarfa's offer. Sarfa breathed out roughly. Sarfa leaves Arneta alone in the waiting chair.

Arneta looked at Sarfa's back which started to move away from her eyes. The bitterness permeates Arneta's heart and mind. Guilt again touched Arneta's heart. If Arneta asked for a divorce at that time it might all be fine, but Arneta's brain didn't stop there. Arneta recalls being with Abby after asking for a divorce, and everything went back to the way it was before Abby's accident.

Arneta again tries to remember whether he ever did anything wrong or offended Abby, but Arneta finds no one where he hurt Abby. Arneta's brain thinks harder to find answers to Abby's decision to divorce from him, until finally Arneta remembers where the beginning of Abby's attitude changes to him.

Arneta wants to talk to her ex-boyfriend Robby that day. Arneta covered her mouth with both hands, her eyes slightly widened.

"Don't listen to my conversation with Robby. But if Abby hears you talking to Robby, Abby should already know that I love her. But why do you want to divorce me now ?" Arneta monologues himself. Arneta was busy with the shadow that was inside her head.

Arneta has contacted Abby's parents-in-law. Arneta has given word if Abby is currently being treated at one of the hospitals in Bogor. And make sure her in-laws are currently on their way to the hospital.

A doctor came out of Abby's room.

"Mother Arneta!" call the doctor"I doc, how's my husband?" ask Arneta worried.

"One more time, after this we will do a thorough examination fearing if there are internal injuries in the patient's body" continued the doctor.

"Yes doc, do your best for my husband" Arneta pinta. The doctor went back into Abby's room.

Shortly after one nurse opened the door to Abby's room, Abby, who was still lying on the hospital bed, was pushed out by several nurses accompanied by doctors. Arneta approaches Abby who is still asleep due to the influence of drugs. Abby's bed was pushed into one of the rooms where Abby would stay for treatment.
