Today Arselo will bring Safira and the children and Ni Eti back to the village. Yes, the village that witnessed the struggle Safira raised his children first, in that village also Safira know the people closest to him today. Arselo wanted to go there because he felt the need to ask for permission from someone who had been very meritorious for him and also his children.
The journey they took was very far, lucky Divya was not fussy at all at that time. They leave at night and only until morning.
Arselo took them to the place where his cottage was, after resting a few hours, then they headed to the house of Bu Resti and Pak Bambang.
"Assalamualaikum" Safira and Arselo said as they reached the front of the house.
For almost two years he did not come to visit the village and now the atmosphere there is very different from the last time he came. Yes, the last time it was when the husband's departure was forever.
"Wa'alaikum salutations." Ms. Resti replied to their greeting, "When will you come?" asked Bu Resti when he stood in front of Arselo, Safira and the children.
"So morning, Mom. But we rest at the cottage before coming here" replied Arselo.
"Oh, yes, I have. Come on in," asked Bu Resti to them, "Here Divya is with Nin. Nin kangen really, you know." Bu Resti took over Divya from Safira.
They entered Bu Resti's house together, the children immediately entered Abizar's former room first, the brand had missed the place a lot. Bu Resti also did not ban them and just let them.
After Sapphira and Arselo sat down, a young man brought them a drink.
"Please" said the young man.
"Thank you" replied Arselo and Safira.
The young man smiled and nodded his head, "Sama-sama, Aa, Tet. Then excuse me to go back, " said the young man before he returned to the kitchen.
"Mom, me and Sapphira want to make a pilgrimage to the tomb first" Arselo said his initial intention.
Bu Resti nodded approving of Arselo and Sapphira's intentions, "Alhamdulillah, when are you going to the tomb?"
"If you can, Mom. You see, we have not prepared anything else" replied Arselo.
"alright. Then, we leave now, but not too late" proposed Bu Resti which was immediately agreed by Safira and Arselo.
While they were still chatting, the children came from inside Abizar's room with a scrap of old photos.
"Mama, look! I found this photo in the fold of Papa Abi's shirt" Dayyan said, holding out the photo he was holding.
Safira received the photo and saw it, as well as Arselo who was curious about the photo.
It turned out that it was a photo of Abizar and himself while pregnant with the eight-month triplets. There he sees a smiling Abizar happily on camera, as well as Safira showing off her distended stomach.
"It turns out Mas Abi still keeps this photo," Safira murmured softly. He smiled as he rubbed the wet end of his eyes.
Arselo saw it all, he saw Safira's tears as he stared at the old photo, but he could do nothing about it.
"Already, Fira. How long are you gonna cry every time you see her picture?" ask Bu Resti. He noticed Arselo's gaze on Sapphira.
"Emmmh, sorry, El, Mom. I don't mean anything, please save this photo for children's mementos, yes, Mom," Safira told Bu Resti.
Bu Resti received the photo that was extended to him, "Yes, let me just keep it."
"Kids, Mama and Papa go to the tomb first, do you want to come or not?" ask Arselo.
The three children nodded, "Come, Pa. We are coming" Dayyan said, representing his other two brothers.
After that, the brand walked to the public burial area there. Bu Resti forbids Safira and Arselo to take Divya with them, so only Arselo, Safira, Dayyan, Raiyan and Qirani go there.
Once there, Arselo began to lead prayers followed by Sapphira and the children, they performed the prayer solemnly.
After finishing the prayer, Arselo began to speak there.
"Abi, I came here to ask you for your blessing. I will marry Sapphira in less than three weeks, now I love her. I will never waste it again. Thank you for taking care of them until the end of your life and I also promise to accompany them until my time is up" Arselo said.
Sapphira and the children could no longer hold back their tears, they cried by embracing Sapphira. After Arselo finished, it was Sapphira's turn to speak.
"Mas, now that I'm happy here, you should know too, right? Our son is also very beautiful, Mas, he named Divya Janitra is very suitable with him–" Safira paused his words to dispel the tightness that is in his chest. "He looks more like me, only his eyes and nose look like yours. Yes, she is very beautiful. He was also very close to Arselo, even more spoiled than his other brothers. Now you can be really calm because the children are already there to take care of him" Safira continued.
The children looked at Safira with a sad look, I don't know what the three of them were thinking because they just fell silent without saying anything.
"Bang Day, Bang Rai, Brother Qiran, do you not want to say hello to Papa Abi?" safira asked his children.
The three children crouched down next to Safira and Arselo, "Papa, how are you? We miss you so much, we hope that Papa Abi misses us too" Dayyan said with a stream of tears on his face.
"Papa, why didn't Papa ever come in our dreams? Didn't Papa ever promise to visit us if we did good?" ask Qirani.
Sapphira and Arselo stared at each other, they felt the same sadness, as the three children felt.
"Darling, you have to be strong. Don't make Papa Abi there sad to see you sad like this." Arselo spoke while hugging Qirani who was beside him.
Qirani was sobbing in his Papa's arms, as were Dayyan and Raiyan who were both crying in Safira's arms.
"Honey, we are all very sad and lost, but Papa Abi will feel even sadder when he sees you crying like this. So you shouldn't cry anymore if you don't want to make Papa Abi sad" Safira said.
After Safira said that, the children began to calm down. "So we can't cry for Papa Abi anymore, Ma?" ask Raiyan.
"Of course, dear, now let Papa Abi calm down in nature there," Safira replied.
After seeing her children calm down and not crying anymore, then Safira and Arselo decided to go home.
"Mas, we'll go home first. God willing if there is another chance, we will visit you" Safira said before the five left the cemetery.
Unbeknownst to them, there was another figure who saw their arrival and departure with a happy face.
"Yes, you're right, Fira. Now I can calm down. May you always be happy, I will always pray for you all from here."
Slowly the shadow faded followed by a gust of cold wind and dry leaves that fell. Safira looked back and saw the shadow at a glance, before it completely disappeared.
