"Skas! Esai poly thoryvodes plasma! " (Shut up! You're so noisy!).
The distinctive baritone sound rang from the doorway, giving the master the spotlight of all the curious net, including the siren in the chain. No one thought that the vice-captain who had taken over the position of captain on this ship turned out to be the one who had spoken. With his long strides, Tio approached the siren with a sharp look of eyes piercing into the bone.
Tio kneeled before the siren, equalizing the position of the netra of those who looked at each other. There is nausea that still continues to stab the stomach of the other crew when he saw Tio able to see from a close distance the siren face that they think is very disgusting.
The siren grinned, his row of fangs clearly adorning his slightly slimy mouth.
"Den scheediazate na pei stin toualeta gia na adeiasete to stomachi sas, daddy? " (You don't plan on going to the bathroom to empty your stomach, man?)
Tio moved closer to the siren, "irmise, to stomachi mou den einai to adnamo oso to diko tous,"(calm, tous, my stomach is not as weak as their stomachs) he exclaimed as he replied to the siren grin before him. The corner of the siren's lips looks down with its red net sharpening when hearing Tio's sentence, as if not like.
"...Alloste edo tha, ithela na chairso ton palio mou gnosto. pos eisai Felix? " (In addition, here I want to greet my old acquaintances. How are you, Felix?) continued again.
The siren, which turns out to be named Felix, looked surprised, seen from his pupils that shrink signifying the look of his eyes dimming when he knew someone recognized his identity. Seeing the obvious change in Felix's facial features certainly makes Tio again raise the corner of his lips.
But quickly Felix regained his senses and again highlighted Tio with an intense look he had, even those around him shuddered in horror except for Tio who was still with a calm and resolute face that dominated. There was no feeling of fear etched into his face, making Felix swallow his saliva slowly.
Felix's mind began to rummage everywhere, trying to think hard to find a gap answer whether he had ever met this man before him. His sharp blackish net and firm facial lines made him recall something obvious in his mind at this moment.
"You know my name? How could? Who're you?" felix asked in a wobbly voice but still maintained the look of his intimidating eyes.
Tio chuckled, "you? Usually sirens like you still use the word 'you' to point at people. Didn't we?" reply Tio with an annoying mocking tone of voice, making Felix grumble in his heart.
"Shut up!" enraged Felix by moving his body in chains, if only Arnold did not wall him surely Tio would have a severe attack from him.
Tio slightly moved away from Felix, giving him a distance ten inches further than before. Seeing Tio's antipasi like that, made Felix pissed off. It seems Tio realized that he could not only attack using his hands but the legs that were originally the tail were also trained to attack.
"It's dangerous. Looks like you guys have trained your lower body very well, I almost got your attack."
Tio laughed making all the crew members amazed with his attitude like that. Felix was silent for a moment, he seemed to realize one thing from the figure of Tio. Making him replay the memories of the past that he had gone through first.
Felix's silence now turned into a terrible laughter, making Tio who was initially laughing finally speechless because disturbed by the sound of Felix's laughter.
"Why is he laughing?" soni's great-grandson who had been leaning against the wall out of fear.
"Where do I know!" roni was beside him.
All looked at Felix strangely, moreover his terrible laughter made them always have nightmares if they continued to - take care of being heard. Tio still looked at Felix in silence, letting the creature settle for his booming laughter fill the room of the R deck or even up to one ship.
Before actually stopping laughing, Felix sounded giggling like he was amused by what was on his mind at the moment. Until finally he looked at the blackish net while trying to make Tio emotion instead of playing.
"I remember now," Felix said softly as he glanced at Tio, "you're the grandson and son of the Ivankov family aren't you? Haven't we seen each other for a long time, old friend?"
His flat, piercing tone of voice looked extremely terrifying coupled with his sinister smiling countenance displaying a perfectly sharpened row of teeth and fangs. His figure was now twice as creepy as before. Even with the conditions in the chain, no one dared to approach him.
Aware of the difference in strength seen from the surrounding aura, making their muscles and brains mute as if they could do nothing. The fear that felt more domineering to them, a sense of dread began to envelop their souls.
Felix did nothing. Just his expression alone played, but it could cripple the response performance of almost all adult males who were on board simultaneously.
Tio smiled wryly, "it turns out you remember," he said softly.
"of course. The tragedy of the legendary SS Ourang Medan will never be forgotten. Especially about your father's tragic Mont Blanc. Considering I was one of those who enjoyed the incident," Felix cried proudly.
"You are truly a lowly creature with no heart!" snapped Tio.
"really? Aren't you the ones with no heart?" refute Felix in an understatement. His head had not come down since then, still feeling very intimidating.
Tio clenched his hands, "don't turn back the damn Felix fact!"
Felix chuckled softly, "if your family doesn't disturb our valley, maybe you're still a happy big family. Didn't we?"
Tio's hardened jaw held back the emotions that had peaked hearing Felix's words that increasingly made him climb black. His sharp mouth seemed to stab right into his heart, making him recall his emotions that he had been quieting for almost 20 years.
Tio glanced next to him, found one of his men who was holding a wooden stick that he immediately took without cue. With a frown, Tio directly smacked the stick into Felix's face until it broke and the sound of bone cracks made anyone who heard it.
Felix's face and body were blown to the side due to the blow. Surprisingly, a punch that seemed to have a speed of 90 mill per hour did not have much of an impact with it. When Felix turned his back, there was only a hint of blackish liquid coming out from the corner of his lips. If an ordinary man had gotten the blow, he might have smashed his skull and broken his neck.
"D-he can still move" Arnold choked, still not believing what he just saw.
A physical blow cannot defeat the siren. So what can make the siren lose?
Tio grumbled, "fuck you. Turns out that stick punch can't smash your disgusting face."
Felix chuckled softly, "you think you can beat the siren? You naive creature."
All the crew who witnessed it seemed to peck until they forgot how to breathe. The fear re-ignited up to their veins, making their blood sigh quickly and their hearts beat fast considering they would have to face more creatures like this outside the ship later.
Jhonson who was right behind Tio was trying to walk backwards, avoiding the terrifying atmosphere that frightened him. He also pulled some people he reached out of the room.
There were two people who were pulled out by Jhonson, namely Daniel and Jacob.
"Huhhhh...."
The three of them were finally able to breathe with relief as they had already managed to get away from the room. Their breathing that had been choked from earlier made oxygen not run smoothly to their brains until their body's response slowed. Jacob patted Jhonson on the shoulder as a thank you that could not be realized because of his breathing is still irregular.
Jhonson nodded, "sama."
They sat on the floor of the ship's hallway leaning their backs, just resting themselves with their chaotic minds. In the midst of their silence, Jhonson finally made a sound as if he had been curious since.
"Did you hear what the siren said?" ask Jhonson.
"Which word do you mean?" jacob glanced at Jhonson who was right next to him.
"Sirship Ourang Medan and ship Mont Blanc."
Daniel frowned, "what's wrong with those two ships?" a tinge of confusion sounded from his voice.
Jacob was silent as if thinking of something, "according to the story going around, the tragedy of the SS Ourang Medan which occurred in the range of 1947-1948 is still unknown cause of the condition of the victim who was petrified with a wide face because of what.."
"...But, according to rumors believed by many, it could be because of the poisonous gas that went into the bodies of the crew to change their cells and end up petrifying like that or even something else." inexplicably.
Daniel appears to doubt Jacob's answer, "myth of times, Jac. Where there are people who petrify it, like to eat medusa aja. You made up stories, huh?" the accusation.
Jacob tapped Daniel's head softly, making him grimace softly. Maybe he said Jacob was bragging. It seemed that the man had never been serious in delving into the history of such legendary shipping. Though the history of shipping like this should be no longer visible for sailors who have traveled the world like them.
Daniel is the definition of a person who is less literate about his own work interests.
"You're the one with less literacy" Jacob exasperated.
"Sorry."
Jhonson sighed softly, uninterested in the petty quarrels of the two comrades. He again urged Jacob to stretch the story and finally Jacob returned to explain at length about all the things he knew about the historic event.
Jacob turned his gaze to stare straight at the end of the hall where the main door was visible and continued his story.
"Actually, this has become an open secret. The death seconds of the crew and captain on the ship have been recorded, meaning that the SOS footage sent was received by one of the ship's radio operators who passed around there. When the ship that received the message found this SS Ourang Medan ship, not just a petrified human corpse, there was the corpse of a dog that also looked stiff with a frightened expression.."
"..Though there were no injuries to the body of the victim who was on the ship, there were also no survivors" he continued.
Jhonson pointed his body at Jacob, "continue how did the investigation result?"
"Nothing."
Daniel who heard that was of course immediately confused, "huh? There ain't?"
Jacob nodded, "as the crew of the receiving ship checked and found the body of the victim, suddenly there was a fire spreading in the cargo of the ship. Finally those who panic decided to save themselves and the Ourang Medan ship exploded and sank."
Jhonson and Daniel seemed to nod at Jacob's explanation. As if understanding the panic of the crew who saw the sparks that spread in the cargo of the ship, imagining they would definitely do the same. Moreover, they could both be said to be cowards.
In retrospect, Jacob also said that the cause was circulating from rumors. So, it is not yet certain what the cause of death of those on board the ship.
However, the question now is what does the tragedy have to do with their new captain, Tio and his family with the tragedy? Even the siren was involved.
"But if it's the Mont Blanc, I don't know the story" Jacob said with a rough sigh.
Daniel looked at Jacob disappointed, "well, time doesn't work"
Before he finished saying his sentence, Jacob touched their shoulders with intense pressure making a small ringing sound from their mouths. As they stared at Jacob's face and the direction of his neutrality that rounded straight ahead, they spontaneously followed that direction.
Both pairs of eyes were also rounded, when found the thing that made Jacob mute.
There, precisely at the main door, they saw a webbed hand that was trying to open the door from outside. His claws began to scratch the iron door leaf, leaving long scratches there.
"J-Jac," call Jhonson trembling.
"We have to do something" said Jacob who immediately ran towards the door while issuing a katana that he had been counting on.
Seeing Jacob running to the door, without a second thought Jhonson followed him from behind with a shaky step. "Tell the captain, Dan! I'll help Jacob!" he cried for a moment as he caught up with Jacob.
Daniel who got the message with all his might jumped his unsteady body and walked towards the deck R where Tio was.
"K-captain! The siren was almost in through the front door. T-hands in!" daniel shouted as he arrived at the doorway.
Tio turned towards Daniel, "what?!"
Felix who heard Daniel's report laughed again. His laughter seemed to describe his pleasure and was like knowing this would happen. Feeling played, Tio who was still emotionally ignited again kicked Felix in the face.
"You intentionally? You set us up!" fear emotion.
"I told you, you're too naive and easy to fool. The proof is that you fell into our trap" Felix sneered with a satisfied look on his face.
Tio let out a rough sigh and ran out of deck R towards the main door and ordered two people to keep Felix chained in the room. The rest, followed Tio from behind.
Felix stared at the sky deck R while chuckling softly. "Ah.. Arios, you said right. Turns out being a decoy isn't bad either," the monologue.
The scenario of Felix's capture by Jacob turned out to be a bait that Arios had planned before. His strategy is really working right now.
