The deg!
Audina touched her lips slowly. Her heart was now beating so strongly, Audrina also seemed to forget to breathe. Audrina shook her head trying to wake herself up then held both of her cheeks slightly heated up.
Audina blinked her eyes repeatedly and pinched her arm slowly. The pain he had, was enough to convince him that he was not dreaming. Audrina ran over and looked at herself in the mirror.
"We can't call that a kiss! M-maybe it was his finger. Aye! Her fingers, hahaha.." Audrina's laughter seemed contrived. He tried to convince himself not to expect too much.
"Focus!" both of his hands were clenched to encourage himself.
Audrina began mixing color after color and polishing it on the canvas before her confidently. A matching blend of colors makes the painting seem more real. Currently he paints his father's villa that he used to visit. He only painted everything in his memory, such as the brown villa, the courtyard and some plants that grew there.
Audrina looked very calm and animated every brush stroke given to her canvas. After fixing the color of the sky and the tree, Audrina was satisfied and convinced that this painting was finished.
"May the Professor be pleased, "he murmured softly as he looked at the painting.
The next morning, Audrina walked out of her Professor's room and sat on one of the benches attached to the wall. He appeared to be carrying a leather bag large enough for where he carried his paintings. Unlike his expectations last night, Professor was not satisfied with the results of his paintings, all visible from Audrina's face was so moody.
The flashback
Audrina stood next to her painting expectantly. Professor Jeremy, who was his tutor all this time looked at his paintings carefully.
"Like nothing less than this painting, Audrina." said Professor Jeremy briefly.
"Not that real, Prof?" audrina asked to confirm the location of the mistake.
"Hmm, something missing here. You said that, you never here again until now, right?" Professor Jeremy walked over to Audrina.
"Yeah, right," said Audrina honestly.
Professor Jeremy looked at Audrina again. "So, why don't you go there again to state all your references, Audrina? You should go there, again! An artist like you, should've future sight." he explained at length.
"..but, Professor.."
"I know that you will be miss your mother again, Audrina. But, isn't this a good time to reminisce about the good memories back there, Audrina?" Persuade the Professor while convincing Audrina
"But, I think my father doesn't allow me to go there again." Tirak Audrina with a sad face.
The professor seemed to think. "I'll talk to him."
"Sure, Professor." Audrina with a big smile.
Flashback off
Audrina let out a slow sigh and getting out of her seat, she had to enter the classroom in a moment. Audrina took all her luggage to the painting rack that the school had provided for her students.
The school painting rack is white with a size of about 2.3 x 0.9 meters. When students want to save the painting, by attaching their id, the shelf in their name will shift automatically so that the storage location is not exchanged.
After saving the painting, Audrina walked towards the next class accompanied by a bell coming in. Audrina sat on one of the empty benches, the school system they did not assign a seat to their students. So, they freely choose to sit where while the bench is still empty.
Today's material is an ancient Greek urban legend art. Slide by slide explained by speaker. Audrina meticulously wrote down the key points of each explanation given.
"..so, the next urban legend. Siren."
Audrina stopped writing, she stared at the screen that displayed the mythological image of the siren. He listened carefully to the material explanation this time.
"Siren or Seirenes . According to ancient Greeks who believed in this urban legend, the sirens were Naiads, or something that life under water.."
"..it could be in the sea or in the lake. So, basically they life in the water. Underwater they have an island that is believed to be their residence, Sirenum Scopuli .." The speaker presses the next slide and goes back to explain.
"..if you never hear about that, more easily we used to know it with the island around it there are cliffs and corals are a lot. That is why they are believed to have the most beautiful and very magical gems and diamonds.."
"..Siren have a very beautiful voice. Very soft, delicate, melodious and anyone who heard it must have fallen in love. However, according to the Greek population sirens used to be very feared. Whys? Because they eat human until they are bone.."
"..have a beautiful voice don't mean they have a beautiful soul. So, anyone want to meet Siren?" The presenter smiled in horror as he closed his explanation regarding Siren.
Audrina and a few other disciples responded to the question with a laugh. The material continues until the bell of the sign goes home.
Having just finished tidying up the book, Audrina felt that someone was stroking her hair. He did not respond and just smiled. If only she had spoken and someone saw her talking to herself, they would have thought Audrina was a mad woman.
Audrina's ears were currently the target of Aoi who was irritated at being tainted. Instantly, the flashback memories of Aoi kissing Audrina reappeared in her mind and made her heart rhythm pound more than usual.
'Ody.' call Aoi.
Audrina who heard that tried to ignore Aoi's call. He was still awkward when he had to talk to her at this time.
'Me agnoeis. tha epistropso argina.' Aoi's voice turned sad.
Then there was neither the voice of Aoi nor the cold touch that Audrina felt on her.
Despite not understanding the sentence Aoi said earlier, Audrina felt sadness from the voice. He felt bad for ignoring Aoi. Moreover, Aoi was Audrina's only friend.
Only, his current ego was too high, he still ignored Aoi for now and immediately went home to discuss the villa's reference with his father.
...****************...
After a long debate, Key finally allowed his son to return to their villa after 11 years of not being there. However, Audrina had to wait another week because the place had to be cleaned and fixed on some parts.
Key actually did not have the heart to let Audrina have to go back to the house itself, just that Key had to go to Thailand for office service for 4 full months.
Key, Audrina, Professor Jeremy and the school gave Audrina 8 months to stay in the villa. Seeing there will be events and mid-year races held close to the location of their villa. After taking care of the license and moving all the classes online, Audrina was finally allowed to home school under the auspices of her current school. Be it materials, assignments and exams will be done online.
A week passed, Key drove Audrina to the villa. Upon arrival there he immediately dropped off the goods Audrina needs for 8 months of living there.
"Yes, pa." Audrina returned the embrace of her father.
"Papa is only 4 months, later after completion papa must have stayed here and your friend ya." Say Key again.
"Be careful, pa." Audrina waved at Key who had gotten into the car. Key returned Audrina's hand with a smile. He did not think his son could be independent without him.
Audrina stared at her father's car that was getting lost. He sighed and then went inside remembering that it was late afternoon.
Aoi hasn't shown up in a week. Audrina who was busy for taking care of her files and overslept from tiredness became the main factor. Aoi just looked at Audrina from behind her mirror, making sure she was okay. He also seemed to understand that Audrina was busy at the time so he did not visit or bother her at all.
To the point where Audrina visited the villa and would stay for 8 months, she knew. Mirror Aides always provide complete information.
Audrina rested on the bed and opened the window of her room while staring at the lake. You know what he hopes for. Audrina clenched her hands nervously.
"What are you there for?" Audrina stared at the lake while hoping that Aoi would hear it.
"Aoi's. You hear Ody?" Audrina repeated while staring fixedly at the lake.
"Whoi?" call again.
Nothing happened. There was no soft voice or the touch of that delicate hand.
"Dianna!" pissed Audrina.
There's nothing. There was only the sound of the wind and the leaves.
Audrina surrendered.
It seemed that Aoi did not hear it this time. Maybe he was busy, he thought. Audrina pulled the window of her room, then locked it back. When it will turn around suddenly a strong wind passes through it, even though the windows and doors are not open.
Audrina looked behind her, but Aoi was standing at the door of her closed room. As usual, do not wear a top to display the abs and muscles that can be sure very hard if held. It was just black pants that were attached and almost fused into his skin.
"Hi, Audrina." Sapa Aoi's.
Audrina frowned. "You mad?" Search Audrina.
"Why do you think that?" Ask Aoi curiously.
"You never call me Audrina unless you're angry. You've always called me Ody." Audrina.
Aoi laughed to the point of displaying her canines which made her look sweet. "Yes, I was angry. But it's not anymore." Acutely.
"Sorry Aoi, was it because I ignored you back then?" Audrina asked making sure with a face that felt guilty.
Aoi nodded. "It's okay. I felt a little lonely at the time. Maybe because I'm tired too." Aoi walked over sitting on Audrina's desk chair. Audrina who saw that also sat in her makeup chair next to her study desk.
"Aoi's tired?" ask Audrina curious. "Because what?"
Aoi stared fixedly at Audrina's face. Seen doubt on Aoi's face to tell the story. She felt that Audrina would get into trouble if Audrina found out what was happening.
"Just calm. Ody will keep a secret, promise!" Audrina raised her keliking finger like a common man promised.
Aoi frowned while sighing tiredly. "Ody promise?"
Audrina nodded steadily as she pulled Aoi's webbed right hand and fused their pinkies together, making a bond. "Promise!"
Aoi slightly chuckled then pointed her index finger towards Audrina's forehead. "Aoi won't say it, but will show it directly. Like it'd be safer for both Ody and Aoi."
Audrina closed her eyes slowly. Tinsel after flash began to appear. He could see there were some very ugly red sirens. They have fangs that are very long to the chin and are fighting with a group of sirens that are very similar to Aoi.
Some of Aoi's group were seen injured and even killed after getting a direct scratch on their heart that resulted in a hole in his chest. Audrina could also see Aoi who was very angry there. Aoi was extremely frightening when angry. His eyes until perfectly whitened and saw his sharpened dorsal fins attacking the red siren until they retreated. A single blow to his tail could knock out those three red sirens at once.
Aoi put her finger away. Slowly Audrina opened her eyes and gave a gaze asking Aoi about what really happened.
Aoi who understood then put her hand into her chest until it broke. Surprisingly there was no blood or wounds there, his hands were completely translucent into his chest. Audrina was a little panicked.
"Silent. I'm fine." Aoi's words calmed Audrina who looked panicked.
Aoi pulled out her hand from inside her chest and held onto something like a bright blue round crystal stone that was extremely beautiful.
"Whatis that? It's beautiful" Audrina said in amazement.
"This is joias. One of the most important diamonds for my people. They want to take this from us." Obviously Aoi.
"That red siren?" Ask Audrina.
Aoi nodded. "They are extreme sarcophagus-type sirens from the southeast, more precisely man-eaters. They're very evil and also very, very dangerous."
"Why would they take this from you?"
"Joias is a very neutral thing. He follows the heart and mind of his master. If they fall into the hands of the red or black, they will destroy us and easily exploit humanity. We also rely heavily on joias, they can take care of our bodies and our ecosystem." Aoi stared fixedly at the joais in her hand sadly.
Audrina nodded in understanding, then asked back. "That means each of your people has one joais?"
Aoi looked at Audrina softly. "should have. But, this is the last joais we've got."
"Joais last? How's it possible?" audrina asked in a bit of disbelief.
Aoi stared fixedly at Audrina's bead of eyes wryly, her green irises began to shrink. He lowered his head and suddenly cried.
Aoi's will was extremely painful to hear at this moment.
