Love In Sketches
Photo Mega

"Love can't just come. And I don't want to make Rubby my escape and my impingement. Mama take it easy, I'll keep Rubby as my wife. Because I've been committed to only getting married once in my life."

Arya got up from her seat before continuing her words.

"I will continue to do my duty as a husband, I will not hurt my wife. Good night, Ma." Say it before you go back to the room.

"Huh, you Aryan. Already in a match with a woman Rubby should not be grateful instead of refusing to love her." Mama Dewi grumbled.

* * *

Rubby sat on the floor of the fur carpet, a drop of tears dripping down his eyes.

"It turns out I could never get love from my own husband. Mas Firaz already loves other women..." Wiry

"Shouldn't I be self-conscious, from the beginning Mas Firaz wanted to marry me because of a compulsion? And I shouldn't have expected more." Rubby wiped his tears. This heart pain. On his first day of marriage, he got the fact.

"Alright, Rubby. You're not beautiful, there's a guy who likes you. Mas Firaz wants to marry you that's lucky for you." He said comforting himself.

"But... Is Mas Firaz going to divorce me after Intan gives birth?" Suddenly the thought appeared in his head. Unfortunately Rubby did not hear all the conversations Arya and Mama Dewi had.

"No, no. Don't think bad, Rubby. Mas Firaz won't divorce you." Rubby shook his head quickly. Trying to get rid of those strange thoughts.

The girl took back some of her clothes that she had not been able to tidy up. His hand opened the closet door, but a photo suddenly fell from there.

"Whose picture is this?" Rubby looked at the picture in the picture. He had not seen that picture there.

"It's pretty, but it seems like her face isn't foreign. Is this Mas Firaz's girlfriend named Mega?" Rubby wondered to himself.

"It is fitting that Mas Firaz loves him so much. Mega is really pretty. And I'm nothing on her appeal." Rubby said sounding desperate, he was still looking at the photo.

Klek, the door of the room was open making Rubby surprised. Her husband went back to their room.

"What are you doing?" Arya asked as she stepped closer towards Rubby.

"I'm tidying up my clothes, Mom." Rubby replied, in his hand there is still a picture of Mega. Arya glanced in that direction, and took a photo of Mega from Rubby's hand.

"Where did you get this picture?" Ask.

"That photo suddenly fell down while I was storing my clothes." Rubby answered honestly.

Arya breathed heavily. It feels like he has thrown away all the photos and items related to Mega. But why is there still something left behind?

"May I ask you something, Mommy?" Rubby hesitated to ask.

"What do you want to ask?" Ask Arya.

"What is a photo of Mas Firaz's lover?" Ask Rubby back. Arya momentarily looked towards his wife, then replied.

"He's not who I am." Arya then squeezes Mega's photo and throws it into the trash can that was there. Rubby is a little surprised to see it, in his mind Arya will be angry and admit that the photo is a photo of her lover.

"Have you finished tidying up your things?" Ask Arya.

"Here you go, my mom." Rubby answered with a nod.

"Let's wait in bed, I have something to tell you."

"Yes, Mum."

Arya passed to the bathroom, while Rubby stepped towards the bed and sat her body there.

"What does Mas Firaz want to tell me? Is Mas Firaz going to say the same thing as he told Mama Dewi earlier?" Rubby wondered in his heart.

"Rubby..." Call her.

"Yes, Mom..." Rubby.

"Do you know why we got married?" Arya asked as she looked at the pair of blinded glasses.

"Yes, Mas. I know." Rubby nodded.

"You also know we're married without love."

"Yes, Mum."

Arya took a heavy breath before continuing her words.

"Listen to me, I will continue to do my duty as a husband, and you will do your duty as a wife. I'm not going to forbid you from doing anything out there, the important thing is that you can keep my good name. Vice versa. Never forbid me to do anything. And I will still remember my status as your husband. We'll always keep our distance until..."

"Mas take it easy. I can understand my position here." Rubby interrupts first. He did not want to hear further and certainly Arya's words would hurt his heart later. Arya frowned.

"Rubby..."

"Mas Firaz, I won't demand anything from you." Rubby interrupted again, looking at her husband's face for a moment.

"I'm sleepy, I want to sleep." Rubby's getting up from there. He walked towards the closet, looking at his reflection in the mirror. His eyes looked glassy.

"I don't want to hear anything anymore. Mas Firaz's words would only hurt my heart." It flows in the heart.

Arya just looked at it, without saying anything more.

"I haven't finished talking yet, but Rubby's gone." His inner.

Rubby's hand moved, about to open his hijab. But a moment later he realized that this was not his room, and there was someone else there.

"I never open my hijab in front of others. Even now Mas Firaz is my husband, but..." Rubby abandoned his intentions. He turned around again and at once the girl was surprised to see Arya who was standing before him.

"What do you want to do?" Arya asked who in fact noticed the movements of his wife in front of the mirror.

"I.... I wanna..." Rubby stuttered, then looked down.

"What do you want?" Ask Arya again.

"I used to take off my hijab while sleeping." Rubby's Chick. Arya looked at him in wonder.

"Yes, it's gone." Arya.

"But there's Mas Firaz here." Connect Rubby.

"Why indeed?" Arya's question didn't understand.

"I don't usually take my hijab off in front of other people." Answer Rubby slowly. Arya thinned her lips, she understood now.

"I'm your husband, not someone else." His word.

Slowly Rubby raised his face until the two looked at each other.

"I'm your husband. You can remove your hijab in this room." Arya. Rubby nodded slowly. His hands moved to remove the hijab and his glasses.

The long, lustrous black hair fell down. Arya felt that time stopped right then and there, just like when she saw Rubby when he finished saying the qobul ijab last afternoon.

"It turns out Rubby is really pretty." The praise escaped in Arya's heart.
