love in the wound

love in the wound
Chapter 1

My name is Naima Armila, I'm nineteen now. I am the backbone of my family. All my work is done to make money.

The age I should have used to have fun was never there. I am too bothered about other things that are more useful to me.

Now I'm at the supermarket being a grocery-shopper who needs services like me.

Yeah, this is how it is. Love was never in my dictionary. I might only get married if my family betroth me

One thing I can never forget is when I was in junior high school, a guy friend of mine expressed his feelings for me before he went to school.

His name is Dikha Al fajri, how is he doing now? I don't know anymore. I admit, his face is very handsome and can make me flutter.

"I love you, Naima." Still firmly stuck in my mind those words.

"I promise, if I come back later, I'll find you to make me my wife" she said.

What can I do, one thing that makes me feel stupid, it's because I'm still very innocent and think Dikha is joking.

He took my steps seriously, and stared at my eyeballs as deeply as possible.

"I'm serious, Naima. I must have come to you and I wish you hadn't belonged to anyone else." That was his last words.

I just smiled, and let go with a confused feeling between believing and not.

"Sir, quickly pick up my groceries," said someone Mother-Mother. For a moment Ke patted my eel and smiled lightly. Geez why did I dream this way anyway? does that guy still remember me?

Understandably, happiness feels rare to me.

The sun began to feel in the middle of my crown, which means I have to rest first to fulfill my obligations in the mosque.

Just one mouthful came into my mouth, my phone was ringing aloud.

I just let out a sigh, disappointed that the call made me stop eating.

"Yes, Hello Father," I replied lazily.

"Hurry home, there's something you want to say."

It feels like this body is suddenly limp, it must be about the matchmaking that Dad said the other day.

"Okay, Dad," I replied.

The rice I ate, I finally packed it back. I have to get home before Dad's voice is chirping merrily all day in my ear.

When I got home, I was glued to two motorcycles parked in the yard.

"Oh my God, should I experience this?"

Unaware, my brother Gino pulled my hand as fast as lightning and led me through the kitchen door.

"Quick shower and beautiful makeup, Nai. Gino is my friend, he owns a successful mobile phone store. Don't let you let me down ya" said Bang Gino.

I just nodded and let him wander off to see the person he said was his friend.

Yes, that's the nature of Bang Gino. He is the person who likes to find a mate other than my father. "What does he think I am? casually treat me as he pleases, Abang ngeselin," I muttered annoyedly.

Quickly, I cleaned myself and picked my best clothes. Yeah, even if I don't like Bang Gino's matchmaking, I should still respect them, right?"
