Chapter 11

Arnold looked at the messenger sent by Anya who was currently waiting for her in the meeting room. Arnold's heart was pounding very hard. He thought he would meet Anya, but it turned out that Blue's investment was only represented by Anya's assistant.

"Did your CEO not come here?" ask the financial manager who looks offended by Blue Investments, whose CEO does not want to go to their company. Though the signing event is very important for their company because it concerns about the future of all employees.

"My CEO's still in another meeting. He'll come after the show there is over. After all, my CEO has entrusted everything to me to handle all the dealings of this acquisition." Arnold's company officials were seen grumbling with their offence.

Arnold stopped them. Because at any moment the most important thing is Anya willing to agree to the cooperation. They really need the money that Anya company will give them. For Arnold, it doesn't matter that he loses 70% of his shares as long as his employees can still be saved.

For Arnold himself it is a very appropriate price for his carelessness who was willing to sacrifice for Lalita who apparently never appreciated his love so far.

Arnold has ordered his assistant and secretary to immediately lift all branded items belonging to Lalita from his room and transferred to his company warehouse because it will be auctioned. The money for the sale of these items will be used by Arnold to pay his employees who have not been paid by his company for several months.

"It is unexpected that it turns out that Lady Anya who became the boss of Blue Investments. Does that mean now we have to call you Boss? Rightly, this company is now yours after we officially signed the acquisition agreement letter." the director of finance looks so happy.

Anya just smiled at everything Arnold's men said. While Arnold himself can only bow his head by grasping his palm that feels so cold.

Because they do not want to waste too long they immediately sign the papers needed for the inauguration of the agreement. "I'll appoint Mr. Arnold as my representative here. Because after all he's the one who knows the ins and outs of this company." Arnold was quite surprised to hear the speech he delivered in front of everyone present in the meeting room.

"Are you not wrong, Anya? I destroyed this company. I don't think I have any more face to serve as a leader in this company. You can choose the talented people who are here to take my place as your character." Anya smiled obliquely listening to what Arnold said.

'If I do not make you my representative, then I have no chance to bully you to always follow whatever I say. Don't you know Arnold I've been dreaming of this moment of heart for the past 10 years.' Anya's inner self while looking up at Arnold who no longer has the face to face with Anya.

Anya stared at the entire meeting member who was currently looking at her seriously. To be honest, they also hope that Anya really follows what Arnold said to choose one of them to replace Arnold as his representative in the company.

They know that Anya is a very busy women's business. Surely Anya will not have much time to take care of their company that she has bought.

"I've decided that Mr. Arnold will be my representative in this company. Remember you have to report all the company's activities to me every day! I don't want to let it go and lose my money just like that because of the actions of people who like to steal company assets!" Arnold was quite surprised to hear what Anya said.

Arnold let out a heavy sigh he knew that Anya was currently doing something to torment him.

Anya sees that her ex-husband is unwilling to accept the offer. "Why? Are you afraid to face me again? You're afraid you'll make your wife angry when you're close to me?" ask Anya with a cynical and condescending look.

Arnold only shook his head because that was not the reason for rejecting the offer from Anya.

"We're talking four-eyes. Because I don't want our conversation to be listened to by them." Anya stared intently at Arnold who looked so distasteful to her.

Anya then ordered everyone in the meeting room to come out. In accordance with the request of Arnold who wanted to speak to him four eyes.

"What do you want to say? Say it! You only have 5 minutes!" Arnold immediately approached Anya who was unwilling to stare at her face lingering.

To be honest at this time Anya's feelings were chaotic and did not understand what she was currently feeling. ' I should have been happy with Arnold's destruction. I should have been happy to have taken this company from Arnold. Arnold knew that Anya was currently trying to avoid him. But he was getting curious to know his ex-wife's current feelings.
