Love of Anya Who Disappears
Chapter 27

Lalita was shocked when suddenly Arnold and several police officers had surrounded her. The buyer had already reported to the police about his transaction with Lalita.

"You betrayed me! Sassy!" Lalita looked so angry at the middle-aged man before her.

"I'm sorry Mrs Lalita. But all these certificates are not in your name. I don't want to get into trouble in the future. Because our transactions are not legal." Lalita glared perfectly hearing what she said.

The police were ready to arrest him but Lalita ran straight to Arnold. "Darling!! You're not serious about imprisoning me?? I'm sorry, baby!! I'm not really going to sell your father's Mansion and sports cars. I was just kidding. I'm sorry, baby!" Arnold immediately pushed Lalita's body that was about to hug him.

"Don't just hug people! I've already put our two divorce suits in court. You better get ready to be summoned by the court in this divorce and theft case!" Arnold's face was so cold and flat as well.

Arnold was very disappointed with what Lalita had done. Arnold never thought that he would get to the point where he had to be cruel to Lalita who had made him part with Anya.

"I will never forgive you! The police officer immediately took him to the police station. Let him take responsibility for what he's done." Arnold then met the person who had reported their transaction. A kindly buyer helped Arnold.

"Thank you for being kind to report this transaction to us. Otherwise, I would have been scolded by my father for losing his favorite sports car. Ahh!! I can't imagine. How angry he is with me!" Arnold breathed a heavy sigh.

Lalita continues to plead with Arnold to be forgiven and struggles when the police take her.

"Darling!! Ii'm sorry. I beg!" Lalita continued to cry sobbing she really did not accept being treated that way by her husband who would soon become an ex-husband.

Arnold seems determined to divorce Lalita. Arnold could not stand the behavior of Lalita who likes to do as she pleased.

"Go well if you don't want to be prosecuted under a much more serious charge!" Lalita really did not expect that Arnold turned out to be so kind to her.

After the departure of Lalita brought by the Police, Arnold spoke seriously with prospective buyers who were so interested in some sports cars owned by his father's collection.

Arnold refused his request. Because he knew very well that his father loved sports cars so much. His father is still abroad for treatment. He also takes care of his business abroad.

"I'm sorry sir. It's not that I'm arrogant or don't need money. But those cars belonged to my father. I can be slit by him if my car is sold. You know, don't you? How hard was my father's character!" Arnold was obstructing heavy breathing when he remembered about his father.

Although disappointed but the prospective buyer could finally understand the explanation given Arnold.

"Well if one day you change your mind and are willing to sell it, please contact me. Ok?" Arnold nodded while shaking hands with the person who then bid farewell to return to his residence.

Arnold is currently holding all the certificates that Lalita has stolen which fortunately they are still her sustenance. Because of the kindness of prospective buyers who want to report their illegal transactions to the police station. "Thank God I can save you for now. I need to get my business done with Lalita. I don't want to keep a thorn in my flesh. My father he would have gone berserk if he knew his car would be sold by Lalita. He never blessed my marriage with her." Arnold was monologuing with himself.

Arnold then left the place to return to the office. He keeps all his certificates in the bank. To be safer.

The experience was truly a valuable one for Arnold. To be much more careful with anyone.

"Thank God it's safe now. I can work quietly without fear of losing it all. I'm gonna call my dad to help solve my problem with Anya. Maybe he can return the shares bought by Anya in this company. " Arnold then went into Anya's room.

But he did not see Anya there. "Where is he?? It's not like he usually leaves at office hours like this." Arnold then seeks out Anya's secretary whom he assigns to help with all of Anya's work while in the office.

"Where is Madam Anya? Why isn't she in her office?" asked Arnold while frowning.

"Mrs Anya has an urgent need. He was going abroad with Mr. James" he said politely.

Arnold was not happy about it. "Why didn't you tell me your boss was leaving the office?" arnold asked very upset.

"I'm sorry, Sir!! Lady Anya told me not to tell you about her departure." Arnold then left the place headed into his own room.

"Even if he's the biggest shareholder in the company. But he still has to keep his manners to me. I am his deputy, however. How could I not know anything about his activities? How outrageous!" Arnold threw his body on the chair.

Arnold glanced at the picture of her wedding with Lalita that she immediately closed and then she put it in the trash can with annoyance."If it wasn't for that woman who always teased me in the past. I wouldn't have made it to a time like this. Where I became a stranger in Anya's life." - Arnold's monologue who later took a photograph that she neatly kept in her desk drawer.

Arnold felt his heart pounding so fast when he saw a photo of her with Anya.

"Our marriage was so happy. If it wasn't for Lalita, she would have been mine forever. Maybe we'll have some funny and very adorable kids." Arnold is seen smiling when he imagines it actually happening in his life with Anya.

Arnold's heart was beating so fast. I don't know!! Arnold fell in love with Lalita. But he knows that to be back with Anya, it takes a very hard struggle because the love of an Anya who disappeared will be difficult to return to the way it used to be. Glass that has been cracked will not be the same as new again.
