...19. Wrongly...
Kirei
The rain continues to rain down the earth. This resulted in a visibility of no less than three meters. The car runs at below average speeds, what's more the hollow road conditions here and there.
The rainy season that will change the dry season or commonly called pancaroba is unpredictable. Morning until this afternoon the weather was still friendly despite the stinging heat. But at night, the rain fell so fast accompanied by rumbling and lightning struck.
Making the girl with shoulder-length hair often look up and reflexively cover her ears with her hands every time the thunder boomed.
“You scared?” danang asked though he did not look at her, but could see the look of anxiety on his face. He had to concentrate fully on driving because visibility due to rain made him have to be careful.
“Slightly,” he folded his hands on his chest in order to dispel the cold air from the AC which made his fine fur bristling.
He forgot to bring his jacket. Though every coverage of the object is always included in the important list that must be brought.
Oh my god. The pecker is in the heart.
Suddenly the car stopped. With a quick movement, Danang had already shrugged a jacket at him.
“From you in the wind.” Tandas Danang, then re-applied the car through the rain.
He put on the jacket, as the masculine scent of woody gushed through his nose. But it makes it comfortable and warm.
Two hours of their journey. The time is very late and has even changed days because it is 00.30 WIB.
The universe is not on their side. The rain actually increased, even puddles everywhere that made Danang further reduce the speed of his car.
“Do we have to stop first, Sir?” his proposal to see the conditions outside dark, even though the street lighting lights are on but very little help.
“Bapak also looks tired and sleepy ” he turns to the man sitting next to him. Several times caught eyes, yawn.
“We look for lodging ” added.
“In border area like this there is no lodging.” Tukas Danang assured.
“Times anyway?” he did not believe, “inapan jasmine also so. The important thing is to rest for a while,” thought it was short without taking into account the effects that will be caused in the future.
Sure enough, it seemed that the girl's wish was granted. Seen in front there is a neon box board that says ‘Homestay Melati’.
“Pak us there aja,” point it at the neon box board that hangs at the entrance of the inn.
“You sure?” the man looked at her for a moment.
He muttered, “Hemm ..”
The car goes into the parking area. There are lined box cars and pickup cars that carry goods covered in tarps. Even Danang's most flashy sedan car itself.
He hesitated a little.
In jubilation.
With a small run, they headed for the reception desk.
“There is still room?” asked Danang at the receptionist of an elderly woman. Seen wrinkles on her face, although thickly polished with makeup. The woman several times smoked the cigarette between the fingers of the left hand, then spouted the smoke into the air indifferently.
Anxiety enveloped him.
“Sisa one room,” replied the woman was stingy.
The woman squinted her eyes, then said, “Can to sleep together,” again spouted cigarette smoke right in front of Danang's face. He brushed with his hand.
He's hung.
But Danang quickly paid with some money and filled out the guest book.
They were taken to the room at the very end.
When the door of the room was opened, the woman quickly left them.
Single bed size number 3. Single sofa with a small table. And a small bathroom containing buckets and dipper, as well as a squat toilet.
“Pak!” the man who was still standing in the doorway.
He began to be confused with doubt. There's no way they'll sleep together in this room, right?
“Come in, I'll sleep in the car.” Danang said while taking the key to the door that was still hanging outside. Then handed to him.
“Don't forget the key from inside,” the male message then passed leaving it still glued.
He sighed, apparently his guess was wrong.
The sound of the clockwork of the wall beating louder filled the room. Coupled with a rattling voice that seemed to mock her that could not be closed.
It is getting more and more difficult to sleep.
His body is clearly tired.
Eyes heavy.
No. .. he's not afraid of being alone. The girl was used to being independent. But....
Taps.
Suddenly the lights went off and it was pitch black. This is what he was afraid of. During his life he was afraid of the dark. At least if you sleep there should be a sleeping lamp that is still on.
His heart was pounding even more, even he could feel it himself.
His hands were trying to reach anything near him. Trying to find a phone that he keeps under a pillow.
But unfortunately, after several times trying to turn on the phone, it still does not want to turn on. Power out.
Not long after the sound of knocking on the door from outside was heard. He immediately stepped towards the door, but hesitated because he was not sure who was knocking.
A familiar voice called out his name.
When the door opened, Danang stood upright with a flaming cell phone flashlight in his hand.
“It looks like, PLN is broken. Maybe until morning will die.” Say Danang by stepping into the room and putting his phone on a small table.
Then the man stepped out of the room.
“Pak ...” Call doubtful.
Instantly the man stopped his steps and turned to face him.
“Sa-me ...” Swallowed his saliva roughly and bit his inner lips.
The one who stood still waiting for him, sharpened his hearing and eyes.
“Can ... can accompany me here,” the sentence slid from his mouth even though he painstakingly said it. Between shame and fear.
“OK,” Danang said as he closed the door and stepped onto the sofa and draped himself in the chair.

Danang
He woke up when a thunderous roar was accompanied by an explosion. The PLN lamp went out. The pitch-black atmosphere. Although the rain was not as hard as it was a moment ago.
Soon he went to the receptionist with the help of lighting from his cell phone flashlight intending to ask for emergency lights or lighting candles. But nil. The reception desk is empty. The fat woman did not see the trunk of her nose.
With a quick step he headed towards the very end of the room. Sure enough, when the girl opened the room door. His face looked pale, and he seemed to be frightened.
He could not leave the girl.
Although he knew, a lot of speculation would arise if there were a kamtibmas patrol (security, public order) that caught him. It'swrong. Clearly wrong!
But that thought he took far. The comfort of her little girl was more than anything.
“Kirei Fitriya Tsabita,” he said in his heart.
The girl who was already sitting cross-legged on the bed immediately looked up at him.
“Mr, haven't slept?” ask Kirei.
“Build because there was an explosion, after which PLN was extinguished. There may be a transformer burning.”
“Sleep ...”
Kirei stretched his body behind him. Face the wall with faded paint.
The blanket that had been limited to his waist, he pulled up to the neck.
The girl seems uncomfortable. It was proven that he kept moving unabashedly.
But he could not close his eyes. Room with a girl with no ties. In dimness. All wagered. And....
A few minutes passed....
The rain seems to have died down. He's still awake. The girl who slept in the bed was also sound because there was no more movement.
He decided to leave the room and rest in the car.
But he was surprised instead of playing, when the door opened some people were already standing staring at him full of question marks.
