Jonas opened the door to Youbel's room slowly, then spread his gaze to every corner of his father's sister's room. It was not until a while ago that Youbel was buried and Jonas still remembered the girl in the black dress who did not stop sobbing during the funeral process of Youbel.
Olivia!
Yonas took a picture of Olivia on the nightstand next to Youbel's bed. Yonas stared fixedly at the face of the girl in the photo, then rubbed it for a moment.
"Poor girl" muttered Yonas before putting the photo of Olivia back in its original place.
Yonas continued to sit on the edge of Youbel's bed, then took the key from his pocket to open the small closet that was fused with the nightstand. Nor did Jonas know why Youbel left the key to Mom Karin and told Mom Karin to give it to Jonas.
After turning once the small key, the door of the nightstand closet opened. There is a book that seems to be a diary.
What is Youbel's diary?
Jonah opened the first page of the book. There was a photo of Olivia smiling broadly at the camera. It seems like Youbel adored that girl named Olivia.
"I never wrote a diary before. But after the doctor told me that the damn tumor was coming back and growing more malignant in my head, I felt like I should start writing."
"But I won't write about myself. I'm going to write about Olive, the fierce OSIS chairman who aspires to be a successful businessman. She's really a strong woman just like Mom."
"Olive?" Yonas muttered and smiled faintly as he learned of Youbel's beloved calling for Olivia.
Jonas read the words inscribed by Youbel in the book and everything really contained everything about Olivia. About what Olivia likes and dislikes, even about favorite places frequented by Olivia and Youbel. All Youbel wrote and told in full.
"Olivia Abraham Arthur." Jonas reads Olivia's full name on the last page of Youbel's book. Olivia's date of birth was also embedded there, and Yonas immediately opened his phone to mark Olivia's birthday on the calendar as well as reminders.
Yonas returned the book to its original place, and kept the key in the nightstand drawer. The man looked at the watch in his hand which showed that it was already night. Jonas came out of the room of Youbel and went straight to the kitchen.
Just as Yonas prepares food for Mom Karin, the man's phone rings and Zack's name is on the screen.
"Hello!"
"Where are you, Yonas? I'm home and the apartment's still quiet."
"I just finished attending my sister's funeral. Maybe I'm home a little late."
"Your sister?"
"The other day came to the apartment. You remember, right?"
"Oh, yes! She dead? I'm so sorry."
"Thank you."
"Do I need to follow up so you feel better?"
"No need! I'll be home soon."
"All right! Hye!"
"Bye!"
Yonas keeps his cell phone back, then comes out of the kitchen carrying a tray of food for Mom Karin. The middle-aged woman seemed to be still in the room and had not come out since she had come home from Youbel's funeral.
"Mom!" Yonas knocked on the door slowly.
"Mom!" Call Yonas again, because there is no answer from Mom Karin. Yonas opened his knob, Mom Karin, and the middle-aged woman was sitting on the sofa and still having a lot of fun.
"Mom, Yonas brought food for Mom" said Yonas who immediately made Mom Karin turn her head while wiping her tears.
"You shouldn't bother, Yonas," replied Mom Karin softly. His voice sounded hoarse, indicating that Mom Karin had not stopped crying since.
Yes, which mother is not sad when her beloved and only son is gone for good.
"Mom still must take care of health and must not be late to eat," Yonas thrust a plate of food at Mom Karin.
"Did Youbel ask you to do all this?" Mom Karin asked suddenly which instantly made Yonas speechless.
"Do what?" Yonas pretended not to understand.
"Give Mom attention."
"This is indeed Yonas' responsibility, Mom!"
"You are Mom's son, Jonas! Mom was sad when you decided to get out of this house, then stay in the apartment."
"Mom always asks if Mom's been unfair until you decide to leave. Did Mom hurt your heart," Mom Karin said in a sad tone, making Jonas' spit suddenly bitter.
"You're gonna stay here again with Mom, right?" Mom Karin asked expectantly as she grabbed onto Yonas arm.
"For the time being, Mom!" Replied Yonas who immediately made the look on Mom Karin's face turn disappointed.
"But Jonah will come here often to see Mom" Jonas promised.
Mom Karin just nodded faintly.
"Well, if that's your decision. Mom also does not want to force," said Mom Karin resigned.
"Mom eat first, yeah! Then rest!" Jonas took the plate with the food, and began to feed Mom Karin.
"Have you met Mr. Kyle, Yonas?" The question from Mom Karin jolted the daydream of Yonas still standing by the window of her room. Yonas did not even realize when Mom Karin entered his room.
"Already, Mom! But Uncle Kyle had a need. So it was his daughter who explained everything to Jonas" Jonas told Mom Karin.
"Olivia?" Ask Mom Karin to make sure.
"Yes" replied Yonas briefly.
"That's why Mom didn't want to go to Arthur Company. Every time you see Olivia's sad face, you remember Youbel." Mom Karin sighed heavily.
"Olivia hasn't even been seen moving on even though it's been four years," continued Mom Karin, who was sitting in Yonas' chair.
"It all takes time, Mom!" Yonas sage.
"Yes, you're right!"
"Hopefully Via can soon meet the good man who will make him move on from Youbel" Mom Karin said expectantly.
"By the way, Mom went on vacation, right?" Yonas diverts the conversation material.
"You're a forced!" Mom Karin clucked a little.
"Yonas will take care of everything here and Mom just enjoy your vacation!" Jonas had already grabbed both of Mom Karin's shoulders.
"You bring gifts for Jonas!" Yonas continued again with a small laugh.
"By what? A gal? Mom's never seen you holding a girl, Yonas. Don't you have a boyfriend yet?" Ask Mom Karin full of questions.
"Yonas had not thought about it, Mom," Yonas replied slightly blushing.
"Don't just be busy with work then, and start thinking about a girl who will be your life companion" Mom Karin advised her stepson.
"Yes, Mom!" Jonas answered along with the door of the room knocked from the outside.
"Lake in!" Tell Jonas quickly.
A second later, the door of the room had already been opened from outside, and the person who entered into the room of Yonas really made Yonas startled.
"I brought you your lunch."

Italics are flashbacks or past events. Okay, a lot of people understand.
I intentionally make a piece of flashback and not directly all of them so that the flow is not boring.
