INVITATION

Olivia had just finished wiping away her tears, as the door opened, and Mama Audrey stood in front of the room with Riley the reporter.

"Sister Via bobbing while crying, Ma! The pillow got soaked" Riley reported once again to Mama Audrey. The boy's finger had even pointed towards Olivia who was trying hard to hide her face.

You're Riley bucket!

"What is it, Via?" Ask Mama Audrey who has approached Olivia who is still sitting on the bed.

"Where is there? Riley lied, Ma!" refute Olivia fast.

"Bantal Via is also dry like this" added Olivia while showing her dry pillow without a trace of tears. The wet pillow Olivia threw away for Audrey's mom to believe.

"The pillows are plucked, Ma!" Report Riley who has managed to find Olivia's pillow under the bed.

Mama Audrey sighed, then sat down next to her daughter and grabbed her. Olivia immediately rested her head in the arms of the mother.

"Riley, you go downstairs and get me a drink for Sister Via there!" Tell Mama Audrey to the youngest son.

"Riley wants to eat cake!" Riley has been absent from Olivia's room while closing the door pretty hard. Basic Riley!

"Via is not crying over Youbel, Ma!" Olivia quickly made a denial before Audrey's mama judged her. Although Audrey's mother had never judged Olivia before.

"Then think about who? Yonas?" Guess Mama Audrey.

"Not really!" Kill Olivia fast.

"Still worried about your engagement to Ezra? You can think about it again and you don't have to decide in a hurry, Via!" Advice Mom Audrey wise.

"Can Via cancel it as well?" Olivia asked suddenly which instantly made Mama Audrey frown.

"Think carefully before making a decision, Via!"

"Mama and Papa won't interfere or force who you should marry. All decisions are in your hands and marriage is no joke!" Mama Audrey sighed and clasped both hands of the princess.

"Marriage is forever, so don't make a decision. Listen to your heart" advised Mama Audrey as she stared fixedly at the princess.

"You know you're going to make the best decision for yourself!" Mama Audrey stood up and rubbed Olivia's head and kissed her forehead. Mama Audrey exits Olivia's room with Olivia's phone ringing on the nightstand.

"Ethan?" Olivia muttered as she read the name on her phone screen. Ethan doesn't usually call Olivia via video call this early in the morning. What was?

"Hello, Ethan! What's up?" Ask Olivia who after raising a video call from Ethan.

"Sorry to interrupt early in the morning, Via! But do you know Ezra Diba?" Ethan points his camera at a man sitting on a treatment gurney and appears to be receiving medical attention.

"Ezra?"

"Yes, I know you!" Replied Olivia quickly whose countenance turned worried.

"Ezra why?" Ask Ethan again.

"He had a single accident with his friend. Ezra was only a minor wound but his friend broke a leg bone."

"They're in the hospital."

"I'm there now!" Olivia was about to close Ethan's video call, when suddenly Olivia's cousin asked a question of kepo.

"Let me tell you in the hospital! Hye!" Silence Olivia hung up on Ethan.

Olivia throws her cell phone haphazardly, then the girl darted quickly into the bathroom. Olivia washes her face and changes her pajamas with jeans and a loose T-shirt, before the girl goes downstairs and heads straight to the garage to pick up the car. Audrey's mom calls for breakfast even Olivia ignores because the girl hastily slides into the hospital.

Yonas arrives home when he sees Mama Audrey and Papa Kyle leaving Mom Karin's house. Since when did Olivia's parents come?

"Sore, Uncle, Aunty!" Say hello to Mama Audrey and Papa Kyle.

"Yonas! Just home?" Mama Audrey answered with a friendly smile to Yonas.

"Yes, Aunty!"

"We're here to drop off an invitation, Yonas! I hope you and your Mom can come later," Papa Kyle told me, patting Yonas on the back.

"Invitation?" Yonas muttered softly.

"Olivia's invitation?" Yonas asked with a stuttering tone and a hint of actual shock. Although Olivia had said that she was getting engaged the other day, this was too soon for Yonas. And again, Yonas still hopes that Olivia will change her mind and cancel the engagement.

"We're definitely coming, Miss Audrey!" Said Mom Karin who had brought Mama Audrey and Papa Kyle to the terrace. While Jonas was still silent and was trying to control his heart that suddenly felt sore.

It may be time for Jonas to take Olivia. But Yonas will keep the girl at a distance. As Jonas promised his late brother, Youbel!

"We say goodbye, Miss Karin! Don't forget to come with Yonas the day after tomorrow" said Papa Kyle again to Mom Karin and to Yonas who remained silent.

Yonas is too shocked!

"Sure, Mr. Kyle! We will come" replied Mom Karin who was still able to review a smile. Though Yonas also very well know if Mom Kqrin madih hope Olivia will be waiting in the Van Willer family.

Ah, that stepmother of Yonas was probably better at hiding her grief.

Mama Audrey and Papa Kyle's car has driven away from the Van Willer residence. While Yonas went straight into the house, and right on the table in the living room, Yonas's eyes were pounded on the silver invitation lying on the table.

Jonas' hand was outstretched and the man was about to take the invitation. However, Yonas abandoned his intention because the man seemed too cowardly to read Olivia's name along with the other man's name on the invitation.

Nah!

Jonas could not see it!

Jonas was afraid that the wound in his heart would open even wider!

Let the day after Yonas see Olivia, who was with Ezra, and they exchanged rings.

"You don't want to see Olivia's invitation, Yonas?" Mom asked Karin when she saw Yonas who did not take and open the invitation that was delivered by Mama Audrey and Papa Kyle.

"Later on, Mom!" Jonas answered, swallowing a bitter lump in his throat. The man immediately passed towards the stairs, then climbed up to the second floor and closed the door of his room roughly. Jonas wants to be alone now!
