51 - Honor for the Fallen

Yusa was lying on the ground with her mouth open as well as both eyes that had no pupils at all, the attack was able to make Yusa experience a serious condition more than fainting or coma. Yusa's existence seemed to disappear and Luz immediately turned into the form of his robe and went to Yusa.

The cloaked figure landed next to Ceytamold and raised his entire body using telekinesis magic, the entire army was still unable to move but instead they chose a fierce fear different from Kizura and Illya where they could feel the existence of a cloaked figure that was exactly the same as a god.

Not just an ordinary goddess but a much more powerful goddess, she seemed to have leadership over the realm that was attached to her own magic [Crimson Magic], she said, blood red magic where when the magic touches the body then all the cells will be destroyed, Yusa is lucky that the magic she gave me is still in hold." Said Kizura who started sweating.

The entire Ceytamold army went on a rampage, the magic that left them all unable to move began to run out. Ceytamold's troops roared loudly and immediately moved nimbly towards the cloaked figure, trying to encircle it. They all had no leader making the army have no other purpose than to attack someone close to their dying leader.

"Do we have to attack as well...?" Ask Rxeonal.

"We better shut up and back off. I can feel a bad feeling." Said Elvano, he told the entire healing army to bring Yusa. The entire army of healers tried their hardest to be able to heal Yusa but it took quite a long time.

The cloaked figure could only cross his arms seeing the entire Ceytamold army in the front row begin to be cut off in his head and all their attacks were useless because there was a huge push around a figure that cloak.

The whole of Giblis immediately made the sacrifice of fragmentation and made more troops with uncountable numbers, their strength was also much stronger than before.

"Do you not understand the devil...? Devils like you were created just to be pawns, they were used as tools of war and destruction that cannot be imagined. You're just a disposable device where when you're used, you'll be a useless tool."

The cloaked figure walked away while lifting Ceytamold but Alisha took a few steps forward and called herself until the cloaked figure stared at her.

"Hehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Interesting too, it turns out that 'he' you mean has a sister who has an ancient magic named [Scarlet Magic] huh... Great, too, I didn't think he'd never tell me about you."

The entire alliance army was instantly shocked when it heard that but some did not believe the person's words. They tried to attack that person in every way they thought but none of them dared to advance first because that person's strength could not be imagined so easily.

Master disappeared with Ceytamold like smoke, Alisha could only be silent and could not think of anyone related to Master, she better immediately face Yusa and see her current condition.

"Ugh..." 

When Luz performs the final healing formation, Yusa begins to sit on the ground and make her whole body feel like pain. His muscles were veined and his bones gave off a sound that sounded like a broken bone.

"Agghhh...! It hurts...!"

"Don't move, you idiot!" Luz sighed.

Rxeonal heaved a sigh of relief along with the other section chiefs to see Yusa who was still given the destiny to live, but the relief was suddenly lost seeing that the entire alliance army had lost countless members who had been close to millions and now only left them in their tens.

The war they were going through was insane and they just had to face that fate with faces trying to show a sad expression, 12 members of the alliance survived, 8 Oni troops survived, the, 8 Onimakura's army survived, 12 Tyirfei's troops survived, and left other troops such as demon kings and sectional leaders with their members.

Rxeonal kneeled to all the corpses still lying on the ground, bowing his head to show his respect as king because he already had an army that was willing to sacrifice itself for peace. Aldine patted Rxeonal on the back and began kneeling to all the fallen troops, trying to pray for them as well.

Karla could only silently look at Aldine who looked sad until tears began to fall from her eyes, she began to kneel and bow her head. The entire section chief began to do the same thing where Vania knelt down and held her palms tightly as she pleaded. 

They all showed their respect to the fallen troops, one of them started to cry because he had lost friends, family, and someone close to them all. Alisha could only show a look of annoyance at the large number of fallen troops, she knelt down while digging a few holes to create a large grave.

Kizura and Illya stared at the process of excavating the grave, Illya widened her eyes seeing Kizura kneeling and bowing her head as if she was showing her sense of honor to someone who was habitual, it was rare to be seen by Illya until she started kneeling.

Yusa stood up to see all the alliance troops kneeling down and giving their respect to the fallen soldiers, Yusa closed her eyes and knelt down, a sense of regret began to appear within him where he should have killed Ceytamold sooner.

After showing their respect, Yusa and the others lifted up the rest of the fallen army and put him into the hole dug by Alisha herself. Yusa could see some of the surviving troops looking sad until tears kept falling and it made Yusa's heart feel tight.

Kizura pats Yusa on the shoulder, trying to make herself feel innocent.

"All this is going to happen, son. It is not war if there are no casualties, we as soldiers who survive in war are obliged to give our respect to all of them." Kizura.

Yusa shed a few tears hearing Kizura's words that were able to make her heart more touched, she began to remember Alter where she had also talked about war to Yusa herself. It is not war if there are no victims, not heroes if he does not sacrifice himself for his own world. 

Yusa began to cry like a child, she had held him back for too long, he is eager to meet Alter for the last time where he wants to hear Alter's words one last time and he wants to see Yusa who has changed and become a demon who fights for peace.

Alisha smiled bitterly at Yusa crying, but, he came to her and hugged her very tightly trying to calm her down because Alisha was Alter's replacement so it was almost as much a task as a mother trying to calm her own child.

"I've failed to become a soldier, Alisha..."

"We all failed, Yusa. We all." Answer Alisha.
