Lv. 999999 Goblins
Chapter 6 - To the South

After packing the goods, we started our journey to move. Before leaving our previous residence, we also did not forget to remove all the evidence about our existence.

Examples such as burning tents and other useless items. When moving places, the Goblin race always did this so that the Hunters could not catch up to them easily.

"Hey, do you know where we're going?" ask Jefri.

"Hmm, maybe in an urban setting?" Elen excited.

"Don't be stupid, we're Goblins. We'll be hunted there."

Heard the answer from Jefri. Elen returned.

"Where is dong?"

"Come on, what do you think Ted is?"

"If I think we will move to a place that is more hidden and far from human settlements. That you, Ethen?"

I thought for a moment before replying, "if it's not wrong, we won't make a new stopover. Right now we are heading south, said the father there is a Goblin village as well and hope they will accommodate us all. Since the tents and raw materials to make our settlement are gone, we have no choice but to stay for a while."

They were all shocked when they heard my answer.

"I can't believe you're that smart, Ehen!" Praise Elen.

"E-Elen... a-I'm not inferior to the whiny Ethen, am I?"

"That's it, just accept your defeat, Ted."

Jefri and Ted began to quarrel while my gaze remained focused on the map I was carrying. The distance between our village and the Goblin village in the south is about ten kilometers. It is quite far away, and will probably take two or three days of travel.

At night, we stopped near the lake to rest. Many people have slept because of fatigue after walking all day. Only I was still awake from reading some books to understand this world.

It was fortunate that I could understand the letters in this world using one of the skills I had. That's quite helpful.

Feeling that there was no sign of anyone waking up, I got up slowly.

"I think it's a good time to practice and get used to my strength."

The monsters that were around our stopover had quite high levels and could finish off our group easily. However, I will not let that happen.

After marking their positions, I flew into the sky. Now I can kill them all at once in a vast place like this.

[Rain Arrow!]

A huge magic circle appeared above my head. Then from inside the magic circle, came out the lightning arrows that shot towards the monsters that I had marked their positions.

The roar echoed everywhere. Fortunately, I have also installed protectors on the stopover so that they will remain protected and unable to hear what I am doing right now.

Feeling that the danger is no longer there. I went back to the stopover to rest.

Two days later, we arrived at the village in question. The village looks wider than our previous village.

"Let me take care of it."

Our chieftain, or rather my father went ahead to tell the gatekeeper who was there. After seeing them having a light conversation, my father started to look angry. Just by guessing it, I knew that it seemed like our plan was not going well.

"We're not allowed to stay here."

"No way."

Dad came back with bad news to all of us. Some of us are angry, and some are resigned.

"Is there a reason, Uncle?" Ted asked.

"To be able to stay, we are required to pay for 100,000 Giel/person."

Hearing the price made all the Goblins grow angry and furious.

"Are they not Goblins?! Why are they so cruel?!"

No, they were actually the most normal Goblins. Goblins are supposed to be like that, greedy and more selfish than the group, the strange thing is that our group thinks too much about the group and the mutual benefits.

I secretly activated the [Detection] skill to look for something suspicious around us. Then, as expected I found a gaffe in this place.
