Chapter 23 Miyuki's Retaliation

Max takes Miyuki to the Health room. Max painstakingly prepared all Miyuki's needs and took care of her.

“Yuki, are you okay?” raline asked who looked very worried about her sister-in-law.

“I'm fine Brother. Better Raline get back to work. There is Max here who always takes care of me,” Miyuki replied with a smile on Raline.

“Back work Kak. There I take care of Raline,” said Max who seemed to drive Raline out of the room.

Raline gets riled up, she is very anxious about Miyuki, but it is true that Miyuki and Max say that she should go back to work. Eventually she decides to go back to work, but before that she says something to Max and Miyuki.

“Kakak will be back to work, but if there is anything or you need something, you should contact Brother.”

Miyuki and Max smiled and nodded their heads in response to Raline's words.  After that Raline leaves the room leaving Miyuki and Max alone in it without closing the door.

Max painfully cleans Miyuki's wounds using an antiseptic liquid that makes her feel sore to the point of grimacing in pain. Max blew the wound slowly and painfully.

So also when max apply ointment for blisters that are in some parts of his body. The same thing was done by Max, he painstakingly applied the ointment slowly and blew his painful wound when touched and exposed to the drug.

“This injury can be lost right Max?” miyuki asked grimacingly as she endured the pain as Max applied the ointment to her wound.

“Why? Afraid not to sell because there is a scar?” ask Max while chuckling.

“Think of goods, no selling? But actually also Max, later if there is a scar will not be smooth again. Nobody likes me how? Moreover, later my status has changed even though it is still ori,” Miyuki said while chuckling at the end of her words.

Max chuckles at what his cousin is saying. Then he said,

“You forgot there's still me here. I'm ready to do anything for you Princess.”

“Iya also yes Max,” said Miyuki while chuckling.

It turned out that there was Tristan who heard and saw everything that was going on in the room. He had been there since Raline left the room.

His chest rumbled, both of his hands clenched tightly, his jaws hardened holding back his anger.

Even his current face looks very angry to see his wife and cousin who look like a couple and hear their conversation that makes Tristan not accept and want to beat Max who dared to touch his wife, who is, even blatantly carrying Miyuki in front of him.

With her heart overpowered by emotions, Tristan entered the room and approached them saying,

“Mimi, let me take you to the hospital.”

Miyuki and Max turned to look at Tristan who was now standing near them. Miyuki. She felt lazy and did not want to meet her husband.

Max smiled cynically at Tristan's presence in the room. He looked at Miyuki who turned her gaze the other way as if she did not want to see him.

“It seems that your presence here is not desirable Dear Mr. Tristan,” Max said with a cynical smile at Tristan.

Tristan's gaze grew sharper on Max as if it was drawing his gaze into his heart. Max grins. He never bothered to face anything.

Tristan grabs Miyuki's hand to let her out of the room immediately. Unfortunately Miyuki flatly rejected it. He avoids Tristan's touch. Even at the beginning he touched her hand, Miyuki violently threw Tristan's hand.

Tristan stared pushyly at Miyuki who refused his invitation. He feels guilty for his wife. Admit it if he's guilty. But he was between two choices. Helping his wife or helping the woman he loves.

“Have heard, right? Now you better leave this room so we can both rest here,” Max said with a grin as if making fun of Tristan.

Feeling her pride being trampled on, Tristan left the room with her heavy steps that actually did not want to leave the place.

Max smiled full of victory seeing the defeat in Tristan's eyes. He closed the door of the room. Then he extended his hand in front of Miyuki while saying,

“Tos first dong.”

Miyuki smiled and welcomed Max's helping hand by giving him their tos. Then he said,

“Max, unplug yuk. I want to eat ice cream.”

Max scrunched his forehead at the request of his cousin. He looked at the circular clock in his left hand as he said,

“Still clock like this Yuki. They still haven't opened.”

Miyuki pursed her lips, much like her mama if she was upset or sulking. Actually he wanted to stay there, but somehow he wanted to forget about the incident this morning so he didn't want to be on campus for now.

Moments Miyuki's eyes sparkled as she recalled something. Then he said,

“Max, come. I want to whisper something to you.”

Max also complies. She immediately approached Miyuki and placed her ears close to Miyuki's face. Miyuki immediately brought her lips closer to Max's ear and whispered something to him.

At that time Tristan who had walked towards the parking lot, suddenly he changed his destination. He walked back to the Health room to take his wife forcibly with him. And now, from the glass window he could see what his wife was doing with her cousin.

From her point of view, Tristan looked as if Miyuki was kissing Tristan's cheek. Miyuki whispered something in Max's ear. After that Max and Miyuki were seen staring at each other and smiling.

Just looking at that alone made Tristan's heart ache and his chest rumble. Unable to bear to see what happened, Tristan left the place with his anger ruling over his heart.

“You're serious Yuki?” max asked as he looked at Miyuki seriously.

Miyuki nodded her head in response to a question from Max. Then he said,

“I'm very sure Max. I want calm in the moment. And I also want to know what he will do later when I do that.”

Max understood what his beautiful cousin was thinking and feeling. He can't just let Miyuki off her guard. They had been used to being together since childhood and he had gotten used to keeping Miyuki wherever she was.

“Good. I will obey your wishes. But don't we need to ask anyone for permission?” ask Max who seems a little hesitant.

“No need Max. We also only leave for a moment. Just today we are there and we will not stay,” Miyuki replied as she moved her brows with a smile reassuring Max.

Max smiles and extends his hand to help Miyuki get off the bed.
