Chapter 28 Between selfishness and envy

Aydin looked around. He is surprised to find Miyuki, Max and Tristan.

"Where are the three of them Ken?" aydin asked Kenshin who was behind him.

Kenshin looked around. He was also astonished not to find any of the three of them. Then he said,

"Maybe they're going the other way Pa. Let it go, they're grown-ups. The three of them." Anyway."

Aydin and Kiki agree with what Kenshin said.

"Yes, let's just move on to another place" Aydin told Kenshin.

Two horses ridden by two couples walked around the tea plantation. It looks like they will continue their journey with just the four of them.

Elsewhere, Tristan tries to chase Miyuki who is riding a horse along with Max. He was not willing if his wife was riding with another man.

Selfish? Indeed Tristan was aware that he was selfish, but he could not avoid it. Everything he felt at this moment seemed to force him to do as he wished.

Tristan's riding ability was not inferior to Max's. He can catch up with the horse Max and Miyuki ride with ease.

"Stop!" tristan's exclaiming is blocking Max's horse.

Max stopped his horse. He grinned at the persistence of Tristan trying to chase after him.

"What else is needed?" max asked with a grin that seemed to mock Tristan.

Tristan gets off his horse and approaches Miyuki who is still on the horse along with Max. His hands stretched out at Miyuki while saying,

"Let Miyuki be with me."

"I don't want to" Miyuki said firmly without accepting her husband's hand.

"Mimi, what would Mami and Papi say if they knew you were riding with Max, not with me, your husband? I apologized yesterday. Shouldn't you forgive me? Come down, come ride with me. I will obey all your requests as long as you will forgive me and ride with me" Tristan said, showing a clear face to his wife.

Max brought his lips closer to Miyuki's ear and whispered in her ear.

"Follow with him and tell him to obey all your desires."

Tristan was furious as Max's face approached Miyuki's face. He knew Max was just whispering to him. Unfortunately, she recalls an incident in the infirmary that she thought Miyuki was kissing Max's cheek.

Miyuki looked towards Tristan who looked very frustrated. Moments Miyuki pity her husband.

But she did not forgive her husband. He had his own plan in mind.

"Alright, I'm coming with you" Miyuki said as she grabbed Tristan's hand to help her get off the horse.

Tristan cheered in his heart. But he tried hard not to show it so that his wife felt sorry for him.

Tristan takes Miyuki's hand to her horse. He helped his wife get on the horse she was riding.

Miyuki sat in front, while Tristan sat behind Miyuki. And the one who controls his horse is Tristan.

Max rode beside them. Tristan didn't like it when Max was next to them, just that every time Tristan left him, Max could always catch up with him.

Finally Tristan let Max ride beside them. Now their horses are walking towards the waterfall.

Seeing his wife now with him, Tristan felt victorious. In his heart he cheered with joy.

As for Miyuki, she thought about her next plan. At first she only agreed to the contract marriage without knowing her heartache when Tristan was still expecting her sister-in-law. Now he wants to teach Tristan a lesson so that he regrets his selfishness.

Arriving at the waterfall, as usual, Miyuki and Max play water. Tristan felt like a bully who was just watching the ungodliness of those who were together.

Suddenly Aydin, Kiki, Kenshin and Raline come to the waterfall. They rode with their respective spouses.

"Sorry Pi, Mimi asked to come straight here" Tristan said before Miyuki and Max answered.

Miyuki and Max looked at each other. Then they spread their shoulders as if they knew what their eyes were asking.

Kiki gets off the horse helped by Aydin. After that he walked up to them and asked Tristan,

"Don't you like to play water with them?" 

Instantly Tristan felt a sense of helplessness. In his heart he said,

I'm so stupid. Didn't I chase Miyuki to look always with her. Why am I letting him be with Max now? 

"We just got to Mi. This is Tristan just going there" Tristan replied with a big smile.

Kiki scrunched her forehead hearing the answer from her daughter-in-law. Then he said,

"Aren't you guys here? Where have you been?"

"Have not to be confused. Now we'll just go there. Come on Mi let's go there" Aydin said, hugging his wife's body from the side and taking her to walk to her designated spot.

Kenshin also took his wife. Raline looks very happy with Kenshin. The two of them did not seem to see Tristan's presence there.

Tristan breathed. In his heart he said,

It seems like what Mimi said was true. There seems to be no gap for me, even if it's just a little.

Immediately Tristan walked over to Miyuki. He wanted to show Raline if she could also be like him. He also wanted to know how Raline would react if she saw him being friendly together with Miyuki.

Miyuki's body stiffened as Tristan's two hands coiled around her waist. Tristan gently pulled Miyuki's body to the point of leaning against her chest.

Tristan's hand quickly took the water under them and splashed it on his wife's face.

Moments later, Miyuki is upset and replies with the same thing to her husband.

Just as Tristan wanted. Now he and Miyuki were replying to each other and they were laughing naturally.

Max smiled in disbelief at what Tristan was doing. In his heart he said,

He is an adult but still does not understand his own feelings.

While Aydin and Kiki laughed at the behavior of their children who were still the same as before.

Kenshin and Raline are the same. They played with water until Kenshin brought his wife's body into the water. Now their bodies are both wet.

"Darling, we're playing with water all sitting here. Our clothes are wet. Let it get wet" said Kenshin, chuckling.

Raline can't resist it because her body is locked by Kenshin. He was in the arms of Kenshin who was sitting in the pool of water in the waterfall.

Feeling that it is not enough, Tristan returns to jail Miyuki. He does not want to be rivaled by Kenshin and Raline.

"Kak Tristan! Look out!" miyuki exclaims while retaliating for Tristan's pranks.

Tristan laughed at his wife's reaction. Then he said,

"What the hell is a darling?"

Max withholds his laughter hearing the affectionate call coming from Tristan's lips for Miyuki. In between his laughter he said,

"Honey. Dear from Hong Kong?"
