Chapter 35 Traps

The day passed. The pain felt by Miyuki had subsided a little. All because of the ointment given by Kiki and the patience of Tristan in applying the ointment.

This morning he was ready to go to college. Early in the morning Max picked her up. Of course Tristan didn't let it go. He put on his fierce face like a father whose daughter was being visited by his male friend.

Max chuckles at each sight of Tristan's unfriendly face on him. Even now Miyuki invites Max to have breakfast with her and Tristan at one table.

Tristan looks very uncomfortable with Max eating in front of him. The food he ate tasted bland and unpleasant on his tongue.

Why is he always around Mimi? I know they're cousins, but that doesn't mean they're always together. What about me who is already her husband? What's my position on losing to that fucking Max? Tristan said in his heart.

Miyuki is aware of Tristan's attitude towards Max. She did not want to bother with her husband's attitude which she thought was still childish.

Miyuki Max is more than a friend or cousin. Max is Kenshin's successor when his older brother is not with him.

Max is like that too. She considers Miyuki like her own biological sister. Vina's content is weak, so Kevin decides that Vina does not contain anymore. Enough Max alone for them to pour out affection as parents.

Being an only child does not mean that Max is lonely. He never felt lonely because there was always Miyuki, Lucas, Kenshin and Raline who were always there for him.

“Come Max we leave,” take Miyuki after drinking her favorite vanilla UHT milk.

Tristan stood up from his seat. He would not let his wife leave with another man.

Miyuki looked in surprise at her husband who was standing before her. Her forehead frowned as if asking what her husband was doing.

“Mimi, I will take you,” Tristan said firmly as if he did not want to be denied.

“Why bother anyway? There's me here who's leaving together with Yuki. Kak Tristan meningan left for office aja deh, rather than late,” sahut Max after drinking UHT vanilla milk in his glass.

“Then from that, why are you here so early in the morning? Does your home not provide breakfast?” tristan asked sinisterly while looking intently at Max.

Moments later Miyuki got up from her seat and walked towards the door saying,

“Come Max, we'll be late later.”

“Honey, wait! I'll drop you off!” tristan shouted as he moved from his place.

Tristan's wide stride managed to bring him behind Miyuki at this moment. Miyuki's hand is pulled by Tristan to stop her steps.

However, Tristan's face was immediately upset. At that moment Max grabbed Miyuki's shoulder and threw Tristan's hand in Miyuki's hand.

“We leave first. Don't worry about your wife, because I'm happy to take care of her,” Max said as he walked with Miyuki to her car.

Max's words made Tristan very angry. Until whenever he doesn't want to if his own is touched by someone else. And Miyuki is his wife, that means Miyuki is his. He was not willing for his wife to be touched by another man other than himself and his papi. Even Kenshin, Miyuki's older brother, feels forbidden by Tristan to touch Miyuki.

Feeling unacceptable, Tristan immediately rushed to catch up with his wife and Max who had departed using Max's car.

“Damn it! Why can I miss again?” tristan shouted that his shoes kicked the wind to vent his anger.

The current incident reminded him of the incident when he picked Raline up for the first time to go to college. Unfortunately he lost quickly with Kenshin who picked him up early in the morning. Even Kenshin uses his close relationship with Raline to threaten Tristan to approach Raline.

Tristan does not believe in Max's brotherly relationship with Miyuki. Moreover, they were only cousins who were allowed the law to marry.

Tristan went back inside his house to get his briefcase and car keys. After that, he rushed his car to chase Max's car.

“What the hell is Max? Why are you so happy?” asked Miyuki with her frowning forehead.

“Look behind us,” replied Max while chuckling.

Miyuki looked back. His eyes widened and said,

“Kak Tristan?!”

Max chuckled again. He felt funny about the current situation. But he becomes very excited to make Tristan angry and confess his love for Miyuki in front of the crowd.

“Your husband is funny. He's like he's burning his beard. Just look at Yuki, I will make him realize how much he loves you,” said Max who is focused on driving.

Miyuki's forehead frowned at the words of her cousin. He looked at his cousin's face with a question mark, saying,

“What do you mean Max? I don't understand how you make it all happen.”

Max's left hand held Miyuki's head and rubbed her slowly and said,

“Just make him jealous. Over time surely he will confess his love for you.”

“I didn't really expect it to happen Max,” Miyuki said with a bitter smile.

Max chuckles and ruffles Miyuki's hair in a fit of anxiety. Then he said,

“You should hope, because your seal has been broken into him.”

Miyuki's hand lands on Max's back. He hit Max's body as soon as he said,

“This is all because of you. Because of that crazy idea of yours, he couldn't help it.”

“Stop Yuki. You want us to crash?” asked Max who was receiving a blow from Miyuki.

Miyuki's hand stopped hitting Max. He sat back sweetly in his place and said,

“This is all because you are Max.”

“Not really. I think you can turn it down if you don't want to do it with your husband. Unfortunately you also expect it right Yuki?” tell Max to deny Miyuki's accusation to him.

Miyuki was silent. It is true what Max is talking about. He could have rejected it when Tristan would have taken his crown. Unfortunately, he allowed it at that time.

Does that mean I'm really in love with her? asked Miyuki in her heart.

In her car behind Max's car, Tristan sees Max rubbing Miyuki's hair and looks very romantic. Plus when Max ruffles Miyuki's hair, both look very happy in Tristan's eyes. Especially when Miyuki was banging Max and clearly seen their laughter.

All of that made Tristan's heart rumble. His heart was very sick and he wanted to take his wife to be by his side. Without realizing it, Tristan had already fallen into the trap of jealousy that Max had prepared for him.

Tristan's car managed to line Max's car and move will block his car. Max just grinned as he said,

“Welcome to my trap.”
