The New Battle Begins

Adhisti straightened his head with difficulty his energy was completely depleted.

The light coming in from the window cracks in the room was no longer visible, a sign that the day was already night. However, there was not the slightest bit of lighting in the room. Adhisti left alone there.

“ When will Brother come to help me? ” weak.

He remembered his mother again.

“ I don't want to know! You guys should stay here! No one should ever know that you are my wife!! ” snapped his father hard while pushing his mother.

Adhisti who witnessed it can only cry in the arms of his brother Ares.

“ No!! Your father never betrayed me! Nah! Never say disrespectful to your Father!! ”

“ She is married to another woman!! Now she is pregnant!! ”

With a brace his mother slapped Ares.

“ That's all a lie!! ” snapped Mama.

Adhisti approached his brother.

“ Ma, forgive Brother..hiks.. hiks.. forgive Brother, Ma ” Adhisti begs his Mother not to hit his sister again.

Since that day, not even his father set foot in the house. Her mother followed her husband's orders not to show herself to the public and to live there. Her mother's condition worsened she suffered from severe depression until her daily life was only spent waiting for a man who did not care about her.

At first Ares and Adhisti always persuade his mother to forget the man and start a new life, but they will only get a tantrum from his mother.

Her mother was at the point of depression until she forgot that she already had two children. What she remembered was the time she eagerly waited for the visit of her lover, who was none other than their father.

As she wishes the man back to her with all the love that blinded her, she must suffer from depression until she dies.

Gavrill didn't answer but he was ready.

“ I beg you guys to stay careful ” said Lyra worried there was no way she was blocking them from leaving.

“ Take it easy, Ly. Everything must be fine. Never leave the house, at least until the safe state ” Ares slowly kisses Lyra's forehead, then immediately go from there along with Gavrill.

Lyra could only pray that they would return safely with Adhisti as well.

Ares stared at the streets without a single turn, for him at this moment seemed to be a battlefield where he could not retreat and could only continue to advance and destroy his enemy.

Jacks.

An old man of the same age as his mother, is Ares' great enemy. The man who decides to set Ares as an enemy he must fight.

Gavrill's body stiffened hearing all of Ares's words being pressed on him. It seemed that this would truly be the end of an endless battle.

“ After driving Miss Adhisti home I will come soon Mr. ” said Gavrill hope that he will not be late later.

Ares just kept quiet and didn't answer and stayed focused.

Until they finally arrived at an old house. The house is quite well maintained but the ancient feel is not attached to the building.

But who can guess the old house that is not how big it is the throne of the biggest mafia.

It was always the man named Jack who only lived in the house but not a single enemy managed to kill him.

Ares stepped definitely into the yard of the house, the light that illuminated the courtyard of the house was not too bright. There were no guards there. Which makes Ares and Gavrill seem to be in a safe place without any threat.

Ares had not yet touched the doorknob, the door was immediately opened and an old man stood there as if welcoming their arrival as he had waited before.

“ I did not think anyone would still want to visit this old man.visit this old man ” softly the man is weak according to his age and appearance.

Ares and Gavrill stared intently at the man, never once loosening their self-defense because what he was before was not an old man who was worthy of pity.

Lyra was shocked to hear the call.

“ Tara?! Why are you here?! ” asked Lyra could not believe seeing Tara's whereabouts, should the girl be in the orphanage. How did he get in through all the guards in the house?
