Marrying a Man is Useful

Marrying a Man is Useful
Go home

Revina had just wanted to go to work, she met Abraham who had just arrived in the courtyard.

"Uncle has come home ?" ask Revina. Abraham often went abroad very suddenly. So will he go home with a time that cannot be determined.

"Hem." answered Abraham briefly. Such was the attitude of his uncle that Revina already knew. Irit talk.

That night Revina met Abraham in her study.

"What's up ?" asked Abraham who was still focused on his work without turning his head towards Revina.

"Uncle, can I see papa. Em, I mean papa Jonatan." asked Revina hesitantly.

"When do you want to see him ?"

"Tomorrow. Coming home from work." replied Revina confidently.

Abraham simply nodded in response to Revina's words. Makes the woman want to get out of there because there's nothing she wants to talk about anymore.

"Wait." Abraham's voice stopped Revina's steps and turned her back to face her uncle.

"Sit. There's something I want to ask." said Abraham as he closed the file in front of him.

"Uncle wants to ask what ?" Revina was already sitting in front of Abraham.

"How far do you know your husband ?" abraham asked which made Revina dumbfounded for a moment before replying.

"Felixes. Our relationship has improved over the past few months. I'm trying to accept it and just get to know it." Revina replied honestly.

"Did he ever tell you about his family ?" abraham asked to know.

Revina nodded. "Earlier. Felix and his father's relationship is a little troubled. But now it seems to have improved because Felix is willing to help his father's efforts and his father has also apologized."

Abraham silently digested Revina's words. Maybe it's true Felix said. She has nothing to hide from Revina other than her last name, Maxim.

"Next month I'm getting engaged. The event will be held in London. You want to come ? you can meet your husband."

"I want to come along." replied Revina enthusiastically.

"Congratulations to uncle for his engagement" Revina said happily even though she did not know who Abraham's future fiancee was.

The next day, as Revina had planned, she wanted to go see Jonatan. In front of the company Revina did not find a private driver who used to drive her to and from work. Just as he was about to call, a car he knew stopped right in front of him.

"Come in. I'll drive you." ordered Abraham who was sitting in the car.

Inevitably Revina follows her uncle's orders and gets into the car. Revina has now set foot in the house she left almost three months ago. He found the house so quiet. Revina opened the door immediately in greeting Asila's cynical voice.

"Well remember you're the way home ?"

"I want to meet with papa" Revina said without poking Asila's question.

"Revina, you're home, son." Jonatan arrived out of the room directly towards Revina wanting to hug his nephew who he had been guarding since childhood. Jonatan had not been able to reach Revina's body, Abraham suddenly blocked the man.

"I've warned you not to approach Revina again." Abraham stared at Jonatan.

"Why is papa hiding all this ?" Revina looked at Jonatan's face which looked very tangled.

"Papa won't hide from you, Revina. It's just papa's waiting for the right time to tell you. Papa can't bear because you've been considered like papa's own daughter. Papa doesn't want to make you sad, Revina" Jonatan explained.

Hid

Abraham was sick of hearing Jonatan's reasoning. Jonatan loved Revina. But his greedy nature makes Jonatan forget his promise to Abraham to hand back the company to Revina after Revina grows up.

"But I deserve to know my true self, pa. All this time my mom and dad were kind and loving Jasse more. If from the beginning I knew I wasn't your real child, I wouldn't be disappointed" Revina said in a disappointed tone given how she's been treated unfairly all along.

"I'm sorry papa, Revina. Papa admitted it was wrong papa had hidden the truth from you." There was regret on Jonatan's day after all this happened.

If Jonatan had been honest and trustworthy in carrying out his promise, Abraham might not have been this cruel to Jonatan.
