It was still quite early in the day, the new hour hand showing at 07:00. However, Riu was already in his office. He deliberately came early because there was work to be done, there was also a ten o'clock appointment with the person who contacted the Baron last night. Someone who turned out to be a representative of overseas company—Singapore, which was previously included in the list of Riu's target companies.

"Good afternoon Mr. Riu, please introduce me to Stivo, the representative of the Jester Corporation. As I said last night, I came here on behalf of the company, came to offer cooperation. Our company profile is pretty good. In addition to being one of the leading companies in Singapore, our company has also established cooperation with several companies in different countries." The man named Stivo submitted a file containing information related to the company where he was staying.

So, what do you think, Mr Riu?" stivo said after being quiet for a long time and just staring at Riu's movements.

Riu took a deep breath, then said, "this offer is very interesting. But let me first discuss it with the others. I can't make decisions without thinking carefully."

"You are amazing, sir. Very careful in taking action. But .. I beg you, you understand also my position. Bosses do not give very long time to look for partners. So, I'm also waiting for news from you as soon as possible. Because if you refuse later, at least I still have time to find another partner."

Riu nodded in understanding. In the business world, time is precious. Let alone a day two days, an hour or two is already meaningful.

Stivo smile. "Okay, Mr. Riu. I'll wait for your answer."

"Yes, thank you."

"Together, Mr. Riu, I also thank you very much for the time you took."

After finishing the serious chat, Stivo left and left the room where Riu and Baron were. The two men were still silent with their own thoughts, even until a few minutes passed there was no conversation between them.

"Sir, do you feel awkward?" ask the Baron carefully.

"Do you suspect this is related to someone who called Papa yesterday?" Riu asked back.

"I'm not sure either. But, suddenly the Jester Corporation party came here and offered cooperation, isn't this strange? The company is very large, even included in our target list. Even if you are looking for partners, it should be for those who are much larger than their own companies. Isn't that right, sir?"

Riu nodded. "You're right. But ... Singapore is quite far away from Europe. They shouldn't be related to each other."

"Honestly .. I'm afraid this is just a trap."

"You don't have to worry, Baron. I won't sign it before I make sure it's safe."

In that silence, Riu again thought, what exactly happened? Is it true that the calamity that befell Jason is related to the good news that Stivo brought?

Had the intention in his heart to reject Stivo's offer firmly earlier. However, Riu also thought, if those two things were unrelated and just happened to come together, wouldn't he himself be at a loss? Working with the Jester Corporation represents a golden opportunity to flap wings overseas. There was rarely a good start as he found today.
