Marrying an Ex Uncle

Marrying an Ex Uncle

The noisy footsteps of the passersby became the loyal voice that accompanied Vale that morning. With Annisa, he sits in the waiting room, in front of the ICU.

Annisa's face looks tangled because since yesterday she hasn't come home. While Vale, his facial features are still normal because he rested well last night.

"Camelia and Sander will fly today" Annisa said. His voice was soft and almost piled up by the pace around. Luckily Vale's hearing was quite good, so every single one of his speech could be digested clearly.

"May they arrive. It's possible, Papa's condition quickly improved if he met them," replied Vale. It either sounds reasonable or not, but Vale has no other answer.

"Yes." Yeah." Annisa answered briefly, looking down and taking a deep breath.

He is devastated by Jason's current situation. The man simply opened his eyes and breathed, unable to respond to speech let alone move his legs and hands.

Annisa is afraid that her father will have a stroke and be completely paralyzed.

Shortly after Annisa and Vale spoke to each other, Kelvin came with two glasses of warm tea. One for Annisa, and one for Vale.

"Drink, it's okay!" kelvin said when he saw the doubt on Vale's face. In fact, in a split second the woman did not even take the drink she offered.

"Mmm, thank you," Vale replied, commenting on the forced-looking smile. Even with the movement of his hand when reaching for the tea glass from Kelvin's hand.

Shortly after the tea glass changed hands, even before Vale took a sip, he was already startled by the ringing of a cell phone from inside his sling bag. Apparently, there was a phone from Erwin—receptionist in Riu's office.

"Mrs, can you go to the office now? There's trouble and chaos here."

Vale frowned, surprised by what he had just heard. "What problem?"

"There are raging clients who threaten to sue the company. He said, we are violating the agreed contract points. Madam, she insists on meeting with Mr. Riu. But he is going abroad. Madam, just you're our hope."

Vale took a deep breath while kneeling the temple. Jason's problem has not been solved, now there are other problems in the office, and unfortunately when Riu is not in place.

"Well, I'll be there now." After thinking for a moment, Vale responded to Erwin's request. He would come to the office and try to talk to a client who he said was making a mess of it.

However, before deciding to go there, Vale first contacted Riu. But unfortunately, the husband's number is still out of reach. Perhaps, he had not left the airport and had not had time to turn on his phone.

"What's up, Vale?" ask Kelvin. He caught an unhappy gesture in Vale's face.

"I'm going to the office, there's trouble there."

"What problem?" Kelvin was surprised.

Vale shakes. "It's not clear yet."

"Let me company. You're pregnant, it's not good to deal with problems alone" Kelvin said. For a moment he forgot the warning from Riu telling him to keep his distance from Vale. In this precarious situation, the most important thing is the safety of the woman. After all, his intention was only to protect, not others.

"no need. I've been escorted by the driver" Vale refused with a faint smile.

"The driver just drove you. He can't guarantee your safety in the office. Vale, I just don't want you to be okay. Uncle must understand."

"I can do it myself. You better be here with Annisa. Papa's better condition you're worried about, not me." Vale refused.

"But, Vale___"

Because there was no other choice, Kelvin was forced to give up. He no longer insisted on driving Vale. Despite his heavy heart, he let the woman go only with the driver.

"You don't look for any more with your uncle. Forget Vale! She's already your aunt now" Annisa said as Vale disappeared from view. For the umpteenth time, he gave the same advice. That wasn't enough to make Kelvin forget Vale.

Ahh, love. Sometimes it does not know the rules, it comes at will, even to people who should not be loved.

Then the passing of vehicles racing each other, racing in the midst of self-created pollution, became the main sight that accompanied the trip Vale that morning.

Cold AC in the car, it can not reduce the stuffy and hot. Not able to cover the fact that out there the dust soaring high under the hot sun. At that time, it was only nine. However, the sun seems to be fomenting the spirit, offsetting the earth's population that seems to know no time in doing activities.

"Mrs!"

Vale turned his gaze towards the driver.

"Let's see the truck behind it, ma'am!" said the driver while glancing at the rear view.

Vale obeyed the driver's instructions, looked at the rearview mirror and saw the black truck that was right behind them. At first glance nothing strange, but if noticed ... it looks familiar. Yes, Vale had seen it earlier, when they had just come out of the hospital area. It turns out that until now there is still behind him, or .. was deliberately trailing?

"Did he follow us on purpose?" ask Vale.

"I suspect so too, Madam. Since the hospital, he has always been behind us. Even if our goal is unidirectional, but if we accidentally follow, there must be times before or behind, not like this."

Hearing the driver's answer, Vale's heart suddenly became anxious. Especially after failing to contact Riu again. Little by little, his mind was filled with prejudice.

"Mrs, I'll find a safe point. You are careful, yes," said the driver again, who was then responded with a nod.

A second after getting a response from Vale, the driver immediately increased the rate. His hand was so firmly gripping the steering wheel as to not make the slightest mistake. There is a big responsibility that he brought at that time—sang employer.

With agility, the driver drove his car between other vehicles. I don't know how many cars he had, but .. the truck in the back also did the same thing. Drivers there are no less agile to bring their vehicles, also drove and maintain distance with Vale cars.

"Something's wrong, ma'am."

Vale did not say, because he also knew that the truck behind there was deliberately following. In fact, when the driver drove even faster, the truck again did the same thing, so it felt useless the driver drove forward speed because the truck remained right behind him.

"Who is he, and what does he want?" inner Vale with worry. The distance of the office was still quite far, and he was having serious problems.

Shortly after, they arrived at the descending streets. The driver was slightly reduced because there was a trontoon truck in front of them, while there was no room to precede.

Right at that moment, the truck driver in the back added speed and hit the back of Vale's car, until pushed forward at a fairly high speed.

Vale's driver tried to brake, but failed. The push from the truck was too strong, coupled with the downhill road.

Vale and his driver are pale. A little more their car will go into the back of the tronton, while for the steering wheel there is also almost no space. On the right side there is another car, while on the left side there is a road divider.
