Meet Me At Midnight's

Meet Me At Midnight's
Out of the Club

Today is a holiday. Even though it's a holiday, but Bella's job seems never to be a holiday. Even Mom always said that Bella was dating with work. Like this morning at noon. Bella brought the proposal of a university that wanted to be sponsored by the Salim Group when previously there had never been a story of Salim Group sponsoring such an activity.

Bella, Brian, Dad and Mom have been sitting on the couch together. Ask each other's opinions to find a way out of this problem.

I was silent to hear each explanation. There are pros and cons as well. I seem to think how he should make his decision.

"If you how, Brian? If you coordinate a new intern, how many students will be able to enter the company? Will you limit the number or will you include everything on the list?" asking Dad made Brian think again.

"Usually there are two or more universities with the best value students can intern. That you? What about your standards?" ask me to ask Brian for his opinion.

"How about we select the interview system and be placed according to his expertise? If he is good, he can work for our company. Of course, the amount is reduced again in accordance with the assessment during their internship." replied Brian.

Now, Dad thinks again. Halfheartedly with Brian's answer.

"Is that so?"

"I think it's fair enough that the value of internships submitted to the campus also looks accurate" Brian replied confidently.

"But Dad, if more and more people sign up, our company will grow with interns." said Bella.

"Let's just say we're hiring a new employee in the future" Dad said. Then Bella pouted and this time Brian was right. That this idea is actually not so bad. Just tweak a little bit of the wrong system to make it look more efficient.

Bella doesn't talk much anymore. He followed the decision that was made. This time he also had to believe that Brian could lead the company well.

Gisel recalled his argument with Brian last night. He did not expect that Brian could be as brave as it was to reveal his heart.

"From tomorrow, don't come to the club again. Stop your work here and I'll pay for all your losses." Brian said. Gisel nodded in disbelief.

"And never try - try to get your body touched again by them. Because from this second on, only I'll touch you." Brian continued. Gisel could not say much more. Then Brian took off his hand and Gisel returned to the club.

Gisel grabbed his bag and took his car keys. He heads to Liana's boutique to find out what he's been talking about with Brian during his time at the club.

After arriving at Liana's boutique, Liana who was tidying up some clothes for display in the mannequin, was surprised by the arrival of Gisel who arrived - arrived.

"Gissles?"

Gisel who entered and sat on the sofa without further ado, waited for a while until Liana's work was done.

"I just opened and you came right away. Did I get a deal today?" liana asked cheerfully.

Gisel's face was not as bright as usual. His face was now filled with worry and anxiety. He only found out later that Brian apparently liked to watch him in the club.

"What does Brian say when he's with you?" ask Gisel. There was a tinge of uneasiness in Gisel's way of speaking this time. Liana felt a little guilty when Gisel asked her that.

"How long has Brian been at the club? No. gabe. What time did Brian come to the club? And what did he see during his time at the club? Did he see me with Regas?"

The more questions Gisel asked made Liana's heart even sadder. To be honest, he already knew that Gisel's voice sounded trembling. Gisel did not know where else he was expressing his feelings. His heart aches because of his love for Brian and also his self-esteem that thrashed because of his work status.

Liana hugged Gisel tightly. He already understood very well that Gisel only needed calmness for his heart at this moment.

"Crying Gisel. I know your heart must be hurt. I know that." Liana dropped tears on her cheeks. But Gisel was still being tough.

"I just want to know how far Brian has paid attention to my work. Oi. Tell me. Don't shut up." said Gisel. His voice is getting louder. Then Gisel could not hold back his cries anymore.

"Brian loves you, Gisel. He loves you so much. But he can't say it because you don't allow it. Please put down your selfish little. Be happy with the one you love Gisel" said Liana stroking Gisel's back.

Gisel did not answer Liana's words. He kept dropping tears on his cheeks until his eyes were red. Until his heart calmed down, he rested his back on the sofa.

"Brian always sees you when Regas touches your hair and your shoulders. His eyes were burning with fire. Always looking at Regas with a cynical look. Sometimes he also held back his emotions when you smiled at Regas." Liana said.

Gisel only heard Liana's story and her tears kept flowing.

"Even if I sit next to Brian, I can still feel Brian's anger. Sometimes he also put the glass on the table with a rough. He's upset to see you have to work like that."

Gisel wiped away her spilled tears. Imagine how sincerely Brian loved himself.

"I thought that if you were with him, money matters wouldn't be your concern anymore" Liana said.

"Not money is the main problem" Gisel said in a trembling voice. His eyes looked a little swollen because he had already shed tears.

"My life is in a dirty life. He is the heir to the largest company in the country. How could a woman like me enter her life? I can't imagine that I'm the cause of Brian's life's destruction." Gisel explained. Liana simply understood what Gisel had decided against Brian.

"Perhaps, I'll also quit the club" Gisel said.

"What's? Out of the club?" Liana was surprised by what Gisel said.

"But your contract is only about to expire in four months. How are you going to pay that penalty?" Liana became worried about Gisel's current state.

"Liana. Last night Brian asked me out of the club. I don't think I can do it. But when I saw her serious eyes, I decided not to be too selfish with myself. It's been more than seven years that I've been through this and I've decided to stop" Gisel said. Then he smiled wryly.

"Are you going to remain the Gisel I know after you've been out of work at the club?" liana asked feeling sad about losing her co-worker.

"Why? Are you afraid of not having friends?" gisel asked half-laughing.

"That's not what I mean."

Gisel laughed and hugged Liana.

"Should I thank you right now, Liana?"

Gisel smiled hugging Liana. And Liana herself.

Mr. Liam received the completed dossier signed by Brian. He checked all the files before he left Brian's room.

"Sir Liam." call Brian.

"Yes, Sir?"

"What about when Mr. Liam gets your wife first?" ask Brian. Mr. Liam thought a little when Brian asked that.

"How to answer it." said Mr. Liam closed the file that had not been read and responded to Brian's words.

"At that time I was in college and saw the results of our grades on the announcement wall. We complained about each other getting low grades. Then we retested and were in the same room." said Mr. Liam. Brian looks enthusiastic about the story of Mr. Liam.

"We also exchanged information and talked about the course. Until I finally said I liked it. She is also a very intelligent woman. But his personality that could listen to some of my stories made me always comfortable telling him." Mr. Liam told me with a happy heart. Because his wife has given two children who are smart and have ambitions for his future.

"It's really fun" Brian said in response to Mr. Liam's story.

"Will you also declare your love for a girl?" asked Mr. Liam with a slightly seductive smile to Brian as soon as he finished his story.

Brian looks wrong. He felt he had been caught off guard and his eyes looked out the window.

"Say what? I have no one - who to say anything to." replied Brian.

"Yes, okay, sir. I will only hear the story from you later." said Mr. Liam holding back a little laughter.

"What news? There's nothing I need to tell you" Brian said evasively. But Mr. Liam still held back his laughter.

"I'm serious, you know!" brian assured Mr. Liam. But Mr. Liam really cannot be lied to by Brian.

"I've resigned from the club" Gisel said, showing a letter from SevenSix. Brian took the letter and read the contents.

"My contract is four months away and I have to pay a penalty."

"How much did you get paid for one month there? Out of your customer tips." asked Brian.

"About five million."

"You sacrificed everything and you only got five million from there?" brian did not believe it. Gisel felt a little offended. He recaptured the paper and looked resentfully at Brian.

"I'll pay the penalty from that contract. Don't worry." said Gisel annoyed.

"No need." Brian replied casually.

Gisel turned his head back towards Brian staring with a look of disbelief.

"I paid for it. Twenty million, right?" brian said casually and smiled.

"How can you pay for it without my knowledge?" Now, Gisel really doesn't understand the power that Brian has.

Just yesterday Brian told Gisel to quit his job. And today Gisel got a letter to pay the penalty. Afterwards, Brian said that he had paid his penalty.

"I told you. I'll do anything to get you out of the club." replied Brian.

Now Gisel has realized what power Brian has. Anything he could do in an instant. Even twenty million was nothing at all to get Gisel out of the club. Gisel could only stare at Brian. And Brian smiled at Gisel's gaze.
