Forget that!

"Young!"

A groan oozed out from the lips of a girl lying weakly on the patient's bed, with an infusion tube and a blood transfusion plunging into her arm.

"Come! Son, are you conscious?" exclaimed a middle-aged woman who seemed worried about the state of the girl.

Slowly, Mari began to open her eyes, adjusting to the bright light in the room.

"Mother ..," he said softly as he turned to the woman, who was none other than his mother.

"Come, you've come to your senses, son!" The woman immediately pressed the emergency button next to the patient's bed.

With teary eyes, but smiling, he looked at the face of the princess who had been lying unconscious for more than three days in the hospital.

Let's have a pretty bad injury. A puncture wound was so deep, it hit part of his kidney, that he had to undergo emergency surgery.

As long as he was unconscious, only his mother was always by his side, feeling anxious that the child would not wake up.

However, today she was able to breathe a sigh of relief, as her little daughter had reopened her eyes.

After conducting various kinds of examinations, the doctor said if Mari can recover within one week, on condition, the girl did not move much first and remained in bed, so she could not move, unless there are special needs such as going to the toilet.

"But there is one thing that I must tell my mother and sister that the wounds suffered by this sister are deep and wide enough, so that it will leave a considerable scar. But, it can be overcome by plastic surgery or removal of keloids. If it's acceptable, we can schedule it with the doctor" said the doctor.

"Plastic surgery?" muttered Mari lirih.

"Yes, plastic surgery to remove the scar later," added the doctor who heard Mari's murmur.

"Be ... how much does it cost?" ask Mari.

"For that matter, sister does not need to worry because everything is already …,"

"Enough!" cut Mother Mari with a little snapping, until the doctor immediately fell silent and did not continue his words.

"Enough, Doc! I don't think the scar issue is that important. What's more, it can still be covered with her clothes. Right, Son. Hem," Mari's mother said two ways, to the doctor and also to the princess.

The doctor stared intently at Mother Mari's eyeballs, and the woman returned the doctor's gaze while shaking her head slowly.

There was a breath that felt quite heavy, from the mouth of the doctor who handled Mari earlier.

"Well, if that's the decision. Excuse me first" said the doctor, who walked out of Mari's ward.

After the doctor left, Mother Mari again sat in the chair that was beside Mari's bed. The woman gently stroked the top of the princess's head, and Mari smiled as she felt comfortable being near her mother.

"Mom's so grateful you're awake, son." Mari's mother smiled with relief.

Let's close our eyes for a moment, then open them, instead of nodding our heads.

Suddenly, he remembered Arya. The young man he had protected by giving up his body as a shield.

"Mom, where's Arya? He's not papa, is he, Mom? He's all right, isn't he?" ask Mari streak.

The mother, who was smiling, suddenly kept quiet. His face turned cold and flat.

"From now on, don't ever talk about that family again. Let's just say you never know them, never even assume they exist. Forget them, son!" exclaimed the mother, with a voice that seemed to restrain emotions.

Let's wrinkle both eyebrows. He didn't understand what his mother meant.

"Why should you forget, Mom? Riri is temen Mari, and Arya is very good with Mari, as well as their parents. So, why did Mari have to be that cruel?" cecar Mari who was still lying weak.

"Because they let you be critical in the middle of the road alone, no matter if you die or not there," said the mother growled.

"Mom!" call Mari lirih.

"Son, please listen to me. Never again be close to people from the upper classes. We are not as tall as them. No matter how hard we adjust, it ultimately remains back to the origin, and only wounds and insults remain." Mari's mother started to blow her emotions, wanting Mari to follow her words.

Let's just be quiet, looking at the mother with question marks.

"Why are you so angry? What the hell happened? In fact, even when I made a mistake, Mom was never this angry. Is it true that they left me alone in that place, in critical condition?" ask in the heart.

The rough old hand stretched out and touched the little princess' cheek.

"Son, forget them. Mother please. Open up your new life without them. Assume all of that never happened. Think of the scar left on your back as a marker of the wound they left you, haem." Mother Mari spoke with a soft tone, and a dimmed gaze.

Let's still not understand. However, he had to nod and smile at her, at least to make her feel calm.

A week passed, and our condition improved. The wound on his back almost healed completely, and the doctor had allowed the girl to go home, and check up the next three days.

During her healing, Mari was beset with many questions.

"Why am I in surgery? Is it possible that my mother owed you money? yeah, it could have been. But why do I have to live in a 1st grade ward, with all the facilities being all that fancy? If you owe me, what do you owe me? And again why did not a single Riri family come to see me, or just ask me about it? Is it true that they never cared about me?" mari's mind is crowded with many of those questions.

The day he was discharged from the hospital arrived, and the mother immediately took him home in an angkot.

Mari's face still looked a little pale, yet she insisted on staying home that very day.

Arriving at home, Mom asks Mari to rest in her room, while she must finish a job that has long been abandoned.

"Mother back. You just rest here. If you need anything, you just call mom, hem." the mother's message.

Let's just nod at her mother's words.

The next day, Mari saw the mother was packing clean clothes into plastic, and would deliver them to her own customers.

Let us go to the mother and sit before her.

"Mom, let's just take it between yah," said Mari.

The woman immediately stopped her movements, and stared fixedly at the princess's face.

"If you go there, I'm sure you'll go to that house again. Aye right?" terka the mother.

"No, Mom, let's just help Mom. Let's take it back" said the girl again.

There was a rough sigh coming from the mother's mouth, then he threw his gaze away from the child.

A split second later, he looked back at Mari, and finished what he was working on.

"Yes already. But promise not to go there. I don't want you to get hurt again. Hear it!" the mother's orders.

"Ehm …." Let's nod with a smile.

"Sorry mom, I have to break my promise. I need to know what's really going on," Mari's inner.
