“Mari!” the strangulation sounded so enthusiastic.
Mira, who was enjoying the food, suddenly stopped her hand, when she heard a name she no longer wanted to hear.
"Come!" the woman ran over to the place where Mira and Thom were.
"Hi! You're here? Let me just say, if we'll see each other again soon," Cheria said with sparkling eyes.
"Hi, miss Cheria."
"Relie! Just call me Riri" Cheria cut off as Mira called her by her first name.
"Alright, Hi Miss Riri."
"Ehm .. um ...." Cheria flipped her index finger in front of her face, a sign of disobedience.
Mira furrowed her brows, feeling confused by what the woman in front of her wanted.
"Don't use 'Miss', just 'Riri." Cheria corrects Mira's call to him.
Mira also rolled her eyeballs, a sign of carelessness.
"Whatever!" it's in the heart.
"Hi, Riri. And my name is Mira, not Mari."
Cheria smiled happily at the call. It was as if he was meeting his old friend, whom he had longed for so many years.
He does not care about Mira's treatment which is always cold every time they meet. Moreover, when she mispronounced the name, from Mira to Mari.
"Hi, Mr. Thom." There was a sound that was quite disturbing Mira's hearing, so he was lazy to look at the source of the sound.
"Oh, hi Mr. Lingga. It is a coincidence to meet you here too. The world seems so narrow well," greeted Thom over the presence of a tall, burly man, who is clearly visible from behind his beach clothes.
"Can we join?" ask Mr. Lingga.
"Let's .. Come, please sit with us."
Thom invited the three men to sit down at a table with him, and of course that made Mira even more careless.
However, as much as possible he hid his regret, in order to keep the good name of Thom, in front of his business partners.
"Miss Riri, it seems like you are always there wherever Mr. Lingga is. Are you guys very close?" asked Mira who meant to offend Mr. Lingga, who was always surrounded by women.
"Oh, not really. I happen to like this country, so I asked him to bring me here, too" Cheria said, looking through the menu.
"I'll just choose this one. Brother, which one do you want?" Cheria spoke both ways, with the maid and also with Lord Lingga.
"Ka?" muttered Mira with a puzzled expression, looking at the two people sitting opposite to her.
"They're brothers, Mir. Have I not told you yet? Oh ... wait ..." Thom brought his face closer to Mira's ear.
"Is it possible that you're jealous?" whispered.
"Huh ... What did you say? Very amusing. Me? Nah! No!" argue Mira quickly.
"See clearly Mir. Hahaha ...," Thom pulled back his face away from the beautiful woman.
Mira was silent hearing the mocking laughter from Thom. For the rest of their lunch, the woman was more silent and listened to the conversation that took place between Thom and also Mr. Lingga.
He only answered as necessary, the unimportant questions that Cheria asked him. Mira was really troubled by the existence of the two people before her.
"Oh yes, when are you here? Will I stay too?" ask Cheria on the sidelines to eat it.
"We're going home to our country tonight, Miss Cheria." Thom.
"Well, what a pity. You should have stayed here. Do you know, when night falls, in this place the atmosphere will be much different," said Cheria.
"How, Mir?" tanya Thom as if asking for an opinion to Mira.
"Isn't our business here done, Thom. We better go home soon and continue with each other's routines" exclaimed Mira while still eating her food in peace.
"Ah .. hahaha .. You're right, Mir. Hehehe ..," Thom laughed stiffly upon hearing Mira's words, which seemed to be thrown back by his own words.
"Ehm. Though, I still want to linger with you, Mari,"
"Mira! My name is Mira, Miss." Mira cuts off Cheria's words with great emphasis, as she is deeply disturbed by the call she has made to her.
"Oh, sorry. I always forget. But, can I just call you 'Mari? Isn't it different?" cheria said lightly.
Mira began to clench her hands, which were under the table. Thom saw that, and immediately patted him softly.
"Ri, you should not change the name of the person at will," said Mr. Lingga to the younger brother with his flat expression, while continuing to enjoy the dishes presented in his face.
"All right!" Cheria flicked her shoulders and returned to eating quietly.
After a very uncomfortable meal for her, Mira now chooses to walk alone along the beach, which is separate from the resort area.
Initially, Thom asks her to take a break, but her mind is filled with strange things that are very insignificant to her.
Seamless legs that hanga covered a thin strip of beach cloth, continue to step along the coastline.
"So, is he her brother? But as far as I know, his name is Arya, not Lingga." he murmured inwardly.
Ever since he found out, if Mr. Lingga who was very annoying to him was the older brother of Cheria, who always called him by the name 'Mari', his mind seemed to go back to the past.
The time where he had made friends with a cheerful little girl, with her brother who was also very loving.
Beach with white sand, and high coral cliffs. The woman's steps stopped when a stretch of rock, soelah embedded on the beach, and blocked her path. Mira sat on one of the rocks closest to her by the beach.
"Well!"
There was a heavy breath coming from the mouth of the beautiful woman.
His eyes stared at the horizon that stretched before him. The clear blue sea is beautiful, swinging as if to seduce him to dance together.
"Beautiful no!"
Mira immediately turned her head, when she heard the voice of someone who had suddenly been nearby.
His eyes widened, and immediately rose from his seat.
"What are you doing here, sir?" ask her with a dislike look.
The man walked over and occupied the stone that Mira had occupied. He put both his hands behind his back.
"I was just enjoying the beautiful scenery in this place" he said, looking straight at the sea.
"Then, please enjoy your time. Excuse me" said Mira coldly, then turned around and walked away.
"I'm sorry my sister!" mister Lingga exclaimed with a slight cry, for his voice to be heard by the woman.
Mira stopped her steps, and turned her head towards Lord Lingga.
"She was just so happy to see a person who looked like her friend." Mr. Lingga turned his head and looked towards Mira.
"And incidentally, your names are pretty much the same. So, maybe he thinks you're the same person."
Mira just silently listened to the words of Mr. Lingga, the man who since their initial meeting, had given a bad impression to her. He turned back, and continued his steps.
"He misses Mari a lot!" shouted Mr. Lingga to make Mira freeze.
"He missed his friend very much. He always asked our parents to take him home, but for something, we couldn't grant his request."
Mr. Lingga looked back to the front, looking straight at the horizon. The wind blew his front hair to cover his eyes.
"Can you be his friend?" ask Mr. Lingga at the end of his sentence.
"How dare I, who is only a lowly person, become a friend of a daughter of the owner of the largest retail company in Asia. That's impossible, sir. Unless later, I will only be treated as a messenger." said Mira in a tone that sounded so cold.
Mira then passed away from that place.
Mr. Lingga no longer interrupted the departure of the beautiful woman. He remained sitting there alone, enjoying the wind that continued to play his hair until it fell apart.
