Moonlight On The Sea's

Moonlight On The Sea's
Everyone leaves me

“S...my husband?” Ask Rita later.

“Died when the accident happened.” Sahut Mara.

Rita swallowed the sharpness of that reality. She still remembers when her husband told her to go down to the sea at the end of her life. Rudi hopes that other mermaids can see Rita and save her.

Rita patted her chest crying with all her might. It turns out that her daughter was alone all this time.

“Summer is still looking for you.” Mara.

Hearing the chat, Uma who had come to see her son because he did not go home first, finally returned to wait for Mara to come to explain everything at home later.

“Thank you son. Thank you for accompanying my daughter. Thank you.” Rita is unceasingly grateful and grateful to the young merman who brought news of her daughter.

“Come.” Said Uma who had sat with Appa. Mara is going to go into her house.

“You know his daughter?” Ask Uma.

“Yes. I love his daughter.” Sahut Mara. Not just knowing but loving? The answer was suddenly.

Uma was stunned and looked at her husband. Sara who heard it from the room immediately came out and looked at her crazy sister.

“Mara!” Jerk Uma firmly.

“Appa let Bu Rita meet her son.” Pinta Mara went straight to her father.

“They are Mara humans!” Uma said.

“He knows I'm merman.” Mara is ready for her mother's wrath.

“Mmara!!” Her mother shouted louder.

“She's the woman I helped a year and a half ago Uma. Only he knows I'm merman!” Mara with courage.

“Mara! I never taught you to interfere with human lives!” Jerky Uma.

“Uma. If I was dying and met Summer, would Uma expect Summer's mother to teach her child not to help me?!” Mara raised her voice.

Uma was silent with tears in her eyes. His lips wrinkled wryly and his eyes twinkled. Of course he didn't want that to happen to his son.

“Uma. How would you feel if you couldn't see me hurt on the mainland?” Tanya Mara added.

Uma remained silent, now from her eyes that widened furiously, out tears swept by the sea water. His neck and lips stiffened with anger.

“Mara. You know your mother couldn't have. Apologize to your mother.” Appa mediates them.

“Uma. She's the girl I trust. Really am. Uma knows I can judge people right? Uma also believes in my taste for women right? She's just a strong woman like you Uma. Women who try hard. Exactly like you.” Mara shed tears and went out.

Appa hugged his stiffly silent wife clenching tightly his webbed hands, calming her and letting her think. There are many things to take care of, including her own son. Bitter experience makes them have to be extra careful in dealing with humans.

But Uma also realized what it was like in Rita's position as a mother. Uma contemplated trying to make a decision that someday would not regret it.

“Call your brother.” Talk to Sara.

When Mara returns with Sara, Uma invites Mara to sit down.

“Mara. This time we will believe you.” Appa.

Mara's face was immediately grateful but her eyebrows furrowed about to cry considering her very understanding parents and listening to her.

“Termondly. You're the one who came with the girl both to the middle of the sea wearing a boat. Me, Uma and Bima will help bring Rita to meet her daughter. We have to see for ourselves later.”

“Appa!” Mara immediately hugged her father.

Mara then awkwardly looks at her equally awkward looking mother. The kiss on her mother's cheek removed their awkwardness, and Mara gave a warm smile.

“Thank you Uma. I've always been grateful because Uma was so understanding.” Mara teases. Then Mara hugged her mother who was always weak with her child.

“Basic of brats.” Uma patted her son's back.

“Uma! Pain!” Mara Shouted.

“You deserve to be hit!” Said Uma who kept hugging her son.

*****

While Summer suddenly woke up due to the sound of lightning that was very loud.

“Why is Mr Damar here?” Summer asked as she walked towards Mara's room.

“Mara again go Non. He asked me to keep Non here.” Sahut Damar while following Summer.

As the sound of lightning blaring in Summer's ears, the word frightened her. Where he went last night. Why did he tell others to look after him. Did he go far?

Summer is starting to have an anxiety disorder.

Summer is put on the sofa intending to wait for Mara to come home.

He tried to wait and called Mara but the phone wasn't taken. Where did Mara go.

4 Hours Summer waited but Mara never came home. His legs did not stop being knocked, now he began to squeak his fingers, his eyes tremble while staring at the door of the house.

Summer could not calm down anymore. He stood up and opened the door directly walking on the ground barefoot.

“Non. Where to?” Ask Damar but not be disowned.

Damar hurriedly picked up the umbrella and sandals for Summer.

Summer walked in the rain with a blank look. Damar chased after her and gave her sandals to put on the ground for Summer to wear. But Summer passed through the sandal. Damar went back to the sandal and covered Summer.

“Non come in. It rained so hard. Mara must be home.” Persuade Damar but Summer like deaf still walking while looking around.

How many more times he had to be left alone. Why does everything have to disappear. As inappropriate as he is? The thought continued to settle into Summer's head.

He walked without direction, afraid of being abandoned again. He intends to keep looking until he finds Mara.

From a distance, Mara walks and then runs.

Mara is surprised why Summer is out wet. He ran over to Summer.

“Why are you outside?” Mara asked with her hands.

Summer looked at Mara with her eyes already wet from the rain and tears. He turned around and walked quickly without replying. Damar came along while running to protect Summer.

Summer walked with all her angry steps so that no matter her muddy wet feet hit her sleeping pants.

Summer went straight into the house with a stomp of her feet, her muddy footprints highest on the floor. Mara ran and held Summer's hand.

“I'm sorry I left without permission.” Mara said, but Summer did not look at her.

“There's something I need to check, and I was planning until before you woke up. But I'm still wrong not asking permission first.” Mara explained.

“What are you checking?” Summer asked without looking at Mara.

Damar who saw the intense fight certainly immediately retreated and returned to his home.

“I found bu Rita.” Said Mara trying to turn her head Summer's face which continued to look down to avoid Mara's gaze.

Summer was silent for a few seconds, and finally looked up at Mara's face. Without saying anything tears flowed from his trembling eyes.

Mara hugs Summer who must feel several emotions simultaneously.

“Sorry Summer. Let's clean your feet.” Mara calms Summer.

The limp-looking Summer did not want to move. Finally Mara carried Summer and sat her in the bathroom. The water in the dipper then water Summer's muddy legs.

“You need to change clothes. You're soaking wet.” Said Mara while moisturizing Mara's feet with a white towel.

“Where is my Mom?” Ask Summer slowly.

“I'll tell you. But please change your clothes first.” Mara.

Summer looks scared if later the news does not match her expectations.

“Bu Rita is alive.” Mara's words dispel all of Summer's worries.

Summer immediately let out a sigh of relief. He walked to his wardrobe which was in one room quite large. Replace the shirt and come back out ready to listen to Mara's story.

On the bed, they sat facing each other. Mara then told me everything. How she met Mama Summer a year ago but never knew if it was Mama Summer. If if Mara tried to care more and look for a photo of her mother Summer maybe she could immediately realize the mermaid who had been lying it was Summer's mother.

Summer listened to all those stories without interrupting in the slightest. He sat hugging his legs and hugged his chin to his knees. His eyes kept looking down, “Poor Book.” Her thought.
