"Hahhhhhhhhhh!" Summer caught her breath sitting from her sleep. Sweat on his forehead. His breathing panted, his face pale.
"Away awake?" Said Tapa who had just walked into Summer's room to check. Finally Summer woke up after falling asleep from last night to outside it was bright noon.
Summer stared at her surroundings, she was in the room, the infusion stuck to the back of her hand.
"Why. Mara?" Summer said still panting.
For God's sake he wished that he had dreamed only a nightmare, the pain was still painful but he hoped it was because of the nightmare.
"I haven't been to the sea asking. I have to accompany you for a while. That's what Mara would have expected."
As Summer's body weakened, her eyes dimmed and her injured lips were bitten again.
That's the truth, it all happened. The unconscious face of Mara. Passed by the sea, under the light of the moon that is not too bright. Sara's grim face left a strong mark on her memory.
"Why.." Summer's voice sounded fragile, her eyes full of guilt. Summer's tears flowed again on her pale cheeks and lips.
"…forgive me." Her connection blew a tearful look at Tapa asking for forgiveness.
Although the same tried to calm down, if you want to get angry, his wise mind said Praman was the one who should be destroyed. But with their interference in the human world, causing all that can happen.
Mara loves a troubled woman.
Tapa's silence worries Summer even more.
"Why... Mara will definitely be fine right?"
"Of course."
An unpolished answer with hope, breaking all Summer's spirit of life.
"… Mr. Bagas stopped by for a while and went to work." The connection then left the room leaving Summer who continued to look down depressed.
Summer took off the infusion violently, leaving a splash of blood on the back of her hand, then walked out of the room. Still wearing her nightgown, Summer went to the back of the house to meet Damar.
"Non.." Sapa Damar who was sitting on the porch of his little house.
"Car keys." Summer's orders are weak.
"Where are you going?!" Damar stands shocked to see Summer's bad condition but wants to drive.
"Give it." Summer insisted that her face, though lethargic, implied that Damar would be in deep trouble if he did not give her the keys.
"Good, Non. I bring ya. Where have I taken you." Damar while mangosteen mangosteen anxious.
Summer sighed, immediately turning her body walking to the parking lot of her car. Damar hurriedly took the car keys and followed Summer.
"Kemana?" Tanya Tapa melihat mereka ingin memasuki mobil.
"I don't know about Tapa. I'll just take Non Summer anywhere, rather than bring her own car." Sahut Damar then sat in the steering wheel after Summer got into the car without saying anything. Tapa got in before the car started.
"You don't have to come. I don't need to be protected." Said Summer with a weak voice and my eyes.
"I have to make sure you don't make trouble." Sahut Tapa put on the seat belt.
Summer nodded, staring at the window of the car with her hands. His pale lips were tightly locked, yet his eyes followed the asphalt line with an empty mind.
"Where's Non?"
After arriving near the beach, Damar stopped his car followed by Summer who immediately opened the car door to get out. The feeble body walked over, dumbstruck staring towards the beach, its destination.
Naked footsteps dragged down in the sand, the occasional scattering of sand every foot was lifted. My eyes look for the former presence of a dear man on the sand that was stained red last night.
As the sun is about to return, Summer looks through every grain of sand that holds Mara's memories. Nothing, nothing, everything has been washed away by the waves, the white clean sand. The sea carries away traces of blood, without waste.
Summer's tears were dripping, her legs would not stop, her eyes staring deep into the sea. Slowly the foot was swept away by the waves, soaking his pyjamas. The color of the sand and sea together is infinite, the wind begins to blow cold, breezy flying hair covering the face.
Summer reached out her hand looking for where she should find the man who took her heart away.
Slowly the foot was treading on the bottom of the sea burying the chest up to his neck. Close your eyes looking for where the presence is, but tears are shed because the world feels empty.
Summer immersed herself into the sea, widening her eyes who knew she could see her lover there. His hands moved freely searching without direction, swimming desperately.
"Where can I see you, baby?" Shouts in the heart.
Unsatisfied he was looking, Damar caught him, dragging out the water.
Summer was angry, revolting apart by the sea. Screaming desperately, tears fused with the seawater dripping from his head.
"Non. Conscious, Non." Said Damar squinting eyes water intake.
Tapa massaged his forehead, this woman had already lost her sanity. The sky had just turned black, there were still many people passing by on the beach. Luckily there is Damar who can save Summer, because Tapa will turn tailed if swimming into the ocean.
"Where can I find Mara?" Summer looked up to hope Tapa looked up, he was still sitting weakly wet in the sand.
Tapa avoids the view, clucking waist.
Summer knew, there would be no answer that Tapa could give. But who knows, who knows?
"I can swim any depth, Tapa."
"… Just tell me where I can find her."
"You won't find him!!" Shouted Tapa in the end, his patience was up.
She should have been next to Sara who was similarly shaken. But she chose to accompany Summer, knowing that her friend would be very sad and worried if the woman was alone. Sara is with Uma and Appa.
The scream of Tapa punched Summer's heart fast. He dunked his face into the sand.
"Let's go home, Non." Invite Damar to raise Summer's arm to help her stand up.
That night they managed to bring Summer home, not knowing if tomorrow she went back to crazy again.
How not. Mara is a hope and happiness that Summer greatly cherishes. First love and the most comfortable place. If perhaps he left because he wanted to leave her in good health, the story could have been different. But the worries between her could survive or not torment Summer.
This feeling continues to repeat, first his parents, now Mara. All the important people in his life ended tragically. “What my life brings shit?” That's how he tortures himself.
At least he forgot, the cause of all this is Praman. Self-blame makes him blind.
If she could sacrifice herself to heal her lover, Summer could happily give her life. From the beginning of her life, it belonged to Mara. If they hadn't met two years ago, Summer would have been just as lifeless.
The meeting was a little regrettable, not the least maybe a lot. The beginning of Mara's life is intertwined with her life. And the danger of her life became part of Mara too. If only he could share his happiness.
Seriate…
