My babysitter Maduku

My babysitter Maduku
Chapter 12

Unable to persuade Arini, the couple quickly returned home disappointed. Not only the couple, but already several couples who came to Arini with the same intention, asked the tiny baby for adoption.

"Heh, are you capable of taking care of that child? You have no experience in caring for a baby. Now even pretentious to be an impromptu mother. You have to remember one thing, Arini. If anything happens to the baby, don't ever ask me for help because I won't help you" she said, after the guests left.

Arini who was still sitting on the living room sofa while holding the tiny baby, exhaled heavily. He turned to Bu Nining who was sitting on the same sofa, but with a considerable distance.

"Just pray that Arini is always given health and can take good care of this baby, as well as this baby. That way, I don't need to worry because at least we won't bother Mom" said Arini, smiling warmly.

Arini got up from the sofa, still with the beautiful baby who is now sleeping soundly in his arms. "Take to the room first, ma'am. Excuse me," continued Arini as he stepped into his room.

While Bu Nining looked annoyed. Arini's answer that sounds very sweet, it turns out that it can offend her who is too sensitive. The middle-aged woman continued to nag even though Arini had already left the room.

Arriving at the room, Arini immediately put the tiny baby on his bed. He also had time to lie down next to the baby while watching his face that looks so adorable.

Not long after, Dodi arrived. Arini rushed to her house and welcomed her husband.

"How, Mas? It's done," asked Arini as she approached Dodi who had just arrived. The man looked exhausted after taking care of the baby's discovery. He was also used as an eyewitness to the baby's discovery.

Arini walks beside Dodi until entering their modest home.

"No, Honey. The authorities are conducting an investigation including looking at the results of CCTV footage of the road around here. Yeah, I hope everything gets revealed soon. Let the one who threw away this baby quickly found," replied Dodi while dropping his tired body on the living room sofa.

Dodi smiled faintly then stroked the top of Arini's head. "Of course, honey. This baby is still their right. Unless they don't want it. We'll take care of everything,"

Arini lowered her head to the floor. He was very sad after hearing the explanation from Dodi. However, what her husband said was true and they had no right to refuse if the guardian of the baby wanted to take her back.

"Darling ...." Dodi grabbed Arini's bowed face then looked at her fixedly. "If this baby is destined for us, it will be ours. But if God doesn't make this baby stay with us, no matter how we want it, it's going to stay away from us, honey" Dodi said.

"You're right, Mas. But honestly, I still really hope to take care of this baby. And I promise to take care of her like my own baby" Arini replied with a wry smile.

"I love you, Arini." Dodi put his kiss on Arini's forehead and then immediately got up from his sitting position. "I'd better take a shower, honey. My body stinks," he continued, chuckling softly.

"Yes, you stink of sweat, Mas," continued Arini who joined in laughing slowly and then followed Dodi's steps towards their room.

"Oh yes, I forgot to ask about the beautiful baby. Where is he? You're sleeping, huh?" ask Dodi again.

"Yes, Mas. He was sleeping in the room" replied Arini. "Mas, who are we going to give him his name? Since last night we just called her 'this baby, that baby', pity ' right, Mas." Arini seemed to protest because Dodi has not yet given a name for the tiny baby.

Dodi chuckled especially when Arini's face looks very adorable when he bent his face. "Yes, yeah. Until I forgot. All right, later after the shower, we'll talk again."
