Chapter 5

While Arini was busy in the kitchen with a waiter who was preparing dinner for them, from the front yard came the sound of a parked car. Arini knew it was her husband's car, Dodi, who had just returned from work.

"It looks like Den Dodi's home, Non. Miss doesn't want nyemperin?" asked Bi Surti, the servant who had been working for a long time in their residence.

Arini noticed his work and there was still a lot to do. Actually Arini is eager to welcome the arrival of Dodi. However, if Bu Nining knew he was leaving his job, the middle-aged woman would definitely scold him again.

"It looks like later, Bi. After all this work was done, I just met Mas Dodi," replied Arini.

"Leave it, Non. Let Auntie do it. If later Bu Nining asks, just say Miss's work is done," said Bi Surti while convincing Arini to leave her job.

Dodi, who was unaware of Arini's whereabouts, had a serious conversation with someone across the phone. However, after Arini noticed, Dodi looked angry and occasionally heard a rude swearing coming out of the man's mouth.

"Whatever, I don't care! Do whatever you like," upset Dodi as he disconnects the call and then throws his phone over the bed.

"Who, Mum? Why are you so angry?" ask Arini wonder.

"Huh, Arini! Since when are you here?" screeched Dodi with round eyes after realizing that Arini was also in the room. The man's face looked anxious and it seemed like something was being hidden by him.

"Just now" said Arini briefly and clearly. Arini notices Dodi's phone lying on top of the bed and approaches her. Arini sat on the edge of the bed and grabbed the phone.

"Who the hell, Mas? Mas Dodi has not answered Arini's question," continued Arini who then put Dodi's phone on the nightstand.

Dodi breathed a sigh of relief as it turned out that Arini had not heard her conversation with someone on her phone just now. He smiled and sat down next to Arini.

"One of my employees, honey. He works like a child, never serious and often truant without asking me for permission" said Dodi.

"Oh." Arini who did not really understand about the work of the Husband could only nod her head slowly.

"Ehm, I'd better take a shower first. My body already feels sticky and very sultry" Dodi said as he got out of their bed. He steps into the bathroom and is followed by Arini.

"Hmm wait, Mom! I'm coming, " said Arini.

"Well, let's take a shower together. After all, it's been a long time since we've taken a bath together, right," teased Dodi while squinting her eyes at Arini who seemed to blush in shame.

Arini grabbed Dodi's hand and hugged her tightly while stepping into the bathroom. "Byeah, Arini's body hasn't taken a bath either" replied Arini.

"Ehm, it's appropriate that since then Mas smelled unpleasant smells. It's you, yeah!" Dodi chuckled while scrambling the top of Arini's head which was now bending his face.

"Big, uh!" pissed Arini.

"I'm sorry, I was just kidding" replied Dodi.
