My best friend Muhallil's husband

My best friend Muhallil's husband
MEET

"Ma, Ameera has come" Farhan told his mother. And his other family, looking in their direction.

"Assalamu'alaikum" Ameera told everyone there. He emerged from behind Farhan's body.

Ameera sprinkled her sweetest smile on everyone who was there. The first one he saw was Safa, Farhan's mother.

"Ameera?" call Safa and immediately embrace Ameera warmly.

"Mrs, Safa?" Ameera returned Safa's embrace warmly as well.

"Why Madam? Call Mama! Just like Farhan and the others." Safa told Ameera.

Does Madame Safa know about our marriage? Or he doesn't know at all.

Despite still feeling unfamiliar with the call, Ameera kept smiling. He nodded his head understanding. Then, he circulated his gaze to the entire Farhan family.

"Ehem!" Farhan cleared his throat, making the people who were originally staring at Ameera, now turn to look at him.

"Talk, this is my future wife. We're getting married next month!" he told his family members.

"Congratulations, Ameera!" said a man who approached her holding a girl of stock.

Ameera did not reply nor did she respond to anything. He frowned because he felt that he knew this person in front of him. However, it still could not remember clearly, who exactly the man was.

"You don't recognize me? I'm Fahri, Brother Farhan!" he said introduce himself.

"Sister Fahri? Sorry, I didn't recognize you earlier." then Ameera smiled as she nodded, responding to congratulations from Fahri.

"It's okay. It's only natural that you don't recognize me. The last time we met was ten years ago, before our family moved to Singapore" he explained. "Leaving the boy who insisted on not wanting to come along, for not wanting to leave his best friend here. Afraid that his best friend will be sad because he does not have a good friend anymore" he added teasing Farhan.

Ameera just smiled, because she knew exactly who Fahri meant. While in question, only silence with a reddened face restrains embarrassment.

"This is my son, her name is Lisa."

"His name is the same as my sister's." said Ameera with a smile and holding the cheek of Lisa, her future niece.

PLAQUES

Ameera's hand was pushed over by Niken, Fahri's wife. Ameera just looked, didn't say anything. Niken, look at Ameera with a look of dislike.

"Don't carelessly hold. Your hands are not clean!" ketus Niken who saw Ameera from top to bottom.

"Niken, why are you talking like that to Ameera?" reprimand Fahri who does not like the disrespectful attitude of his wife.

"Mas, you also saw him just now. Why do you still blame me? If his hands are dirty and make Lisa sick, how?" cecar Niken, do not accept her husband defending others.

"I'm sorry, Miss Niken." Ameera chose to give up so that everything was resolved properly.

"Hum!" Niken took Lisa from Fahri, then let her go.

"Easy." Safa patted Ameera's back slowly. "Niken is a good person, he just has a hard time getting close to people he just met. Actually, he's a warm man."

"Yes, Ma." Ameera.

"Yes, let's start eating." Kenzo, Papa Farhan, take me.

They all began to sit regularly and enjoy the buffet food available. Deftly, Ameera took food for Farhan. And the action, praised by the Farhan family who were happy to see Ameera.

"Ameera, you deserve to be a wife" they said.

"really so. For people who haven't experienced it, it's already a very good thing." they continued.

Ameera's face suddenly somber, but she still slipped a smile on her lips.

During the meal, Safa opened her voice.

"Ameera, next week, our extended family will come to your house. Applying to you for our son, Farhan." Safa said.

"Ma...."

"Ma, look Farhan told you, Ameera just got divorced. And he needs time during his iddo. We have to wait." concluded Farhan who still feels disapproved of the idea of his parents.

"Divorce? Does Ameera mean she's a widow?" sambar is a member of the Farhan family.

And they began to sneer at Ameera, looking strangely at Ameera because at a young age, she was already a widow. And whispers whispering to each other began to happen.

"I'm sure she must be a bad woman. Her ex-husband couldn't stand her attitude, so divorced her." they sneered while looking at Ameera with a condescending look.

"Yes, I'm sure. He deliberately teases Farhan because he knows that Farhan is a respected person. We know the widow's behavior. Especially the young ones, already memorized out of their heads." said them furiously.

Ameera's ears were hot, and all the false accusations were leveled against her. Only she was a widow, they dared to curse her with the nonsense they were talking about. That said, they only knew him a few minutes ago. On what basis do they have the right to judge him? In fact, Ameera was very sure, they did not know the exact reason, why she and Dion could get divorced.

Ameera stood up, making everyone shocked. But, a short time later many showed an evil smile to him. Ameera felt, all this needs to be straightened out. Even though he didn't intend to explain. Importantly, Farhan's parents believed in him alone, it was more than enough for him.

"Sorry everyone. I am a widow." Ameera. "But not all widows are the same as you think. The reasons people can be in this position are also different. I'm sure many women don't want this position. So I hope, don't equal everyone. People's intentions are different. Only God has the right to judge every servant." concluded Ameera.

Then, he turned to look at Safa and Kenzo who had been staring at him.

"Pardon Ameera for being disrespectful, Ma. But, this was all Ameera could do. And, Ameera hoped, Mama and Papa would be patient to wait for Ameera. Because you also know, a woman who is still in her iddance period, should not be proposed by other men," said Ameera.

"Ameera pamit, Ma. Ameera and Alisa have been leaving Dad alone for too long" Ameera greeted Safa and Kenzo. Before he actually came out, he kept a good-bye to everyone who was still there. Those people bowed down embarrassed by his own speculations.

"Ma, Pa! Farhan wants to take Ameera first." his permission to both parents and immediately ran out chasing Ameera.

"Ameera!" call Farhan so Ameera doesn't walk away.

Ameera and Alisa turned to look at Farhan, who was already sweating after him.

"A fast. Did you use the millipede?"

"Hahaha, no, Mas. I'm used to walking fast" said Ameera.

"What's up, Mom?" his question was still astonished, why did Farhan pursue him.

"Let's take me home" he asked

"We just take a taxi," she refused. Ameera thought Farhan only occasionally met his family. Don't let him get together for driving him home.

"I'll just deliver. If you want to give me tips, that's okay. Let's just say I'm a taxi," all right.

Ameera only chuckled softly in response. She follows Farhan and rides in the car of the man who will be her husband.

"Ameera, I'm sorry about my family, yes. Which has offended you." Farhan feels bad.

"It's okay, Mom. I just don't like someone who's too judgmental. What they are accusing of is not necessarily true. And it could have hurt someone who heard it" Ameera explained.

"You're right. I fully support you. Whatever you do, it's always in my support."

"I'm not a man without fault, either. We cannot measure the sins of others" he said.

Because their journey is interspersed with conversation, so it does not feel they have reached home.

Alisa's in first. When Ameera wants in. Farhan called back to him.

"Ameera, this is for you." Farhan gave me a paper bag.

Ameera took the thing inside, saw it and put it back in.

"Cute? What's for?"

"Now it's winter. So, wear the blanket so that you are always warm and do not catch a cold. Let's just say .. The blanket is me."
