Firhan was investigating where Kai went. He learns of Kai's departure from Sapphira but he can never figure out where Kai really went. I think it's a good opportunity to do something about that person.

Yes, Firhan is very very upset always compared to Kai by his father. He wanted to make Kai useless by harming him.
