"We can't plant anything anymore, let alone grow crops. Just sowing chili seeds in the front yard of the house, we were forbidden," he replied while wearing a hat to cover the head of the plontos glittering in the sun.
"Your Majesty, this is outrageous!" Eliana stomped her feet in front of the king. "We have to do something!"
King Gerald slightly rewinded his body and also raised his eyebrows. Wonderful! Yep! Just this time he saw the angry face of Eliana who was this serious. Usually, he only sees the angry face full of spoiled Eliana when pouting because he stole the girl's kiss.
She wanted to laugh, but she was afraid to make Eliana angry. So he just kept quiet, nodding his head.
"Your Majesty, isn't there a termination plan for prime minister Arshville? I heard you talking about this on that plane" Eliana told King Gerald and Antony.
The two men nodded again.
"Then, why don't you just get laid off?" ask Eliana.
King Gerald and Antony. Then one hand of His Majesty the King rubbed gently the head of Eli.
"It's not that easy, sweet lady." The king's smile came up with his rebuttal.
"We only accept complaints about the bad behavior of the prime minister, it does not mean that after getting a complaint we immediately execute. However, we must have strong evidence first to underlie our demands. If we have no evidence, then we cannot demand that the prime minister step down from his position" the king explained without removing his hand from Eliana's head.
"Because .. we can't stand it. We have to buy our own crops, that too at a very high price from the local government. So that our salaries work as laborers are only enough to buy food from the local government. After all, the needs of our lives as Arshvilleans are not just food. They're just like playing around with their money, for themselves." Mr. Edmund is saddened.
"What if we insist that the prime minister will restore the people's land in the plantation center?" eliana's Proposal.
"If we go back and force, then what's the difference between us and them, baby? They used to get the land by force, if we retake the land back by force. So we are the same as them" the king replied, reminding Eliana.
"How about this, for a while I will discuss with the prime minister. At least so that you are allowed to plant again, at least around your house. The issue of land and the payment of wages, let me find a way out" the king told Mr. Edmund.
"Hamba resigned no matter what the decision of His Majesty the King. The complaint we made to the government is the last resort for us to fix things." Mr. Edmund looks resigned.
"Don't grieve. At least the other Arshville masters and residents, can still grow crops in front of your house, right?" entertain Eliana.
"But .. there is no land around our house. Everything is covered by cement plaster and also paving blocks. Looks like planting around the house, impossible."
Eliana seemed to think and smiled. "As long as the king manages to negotiate it, I have a way!"
