My Husband is a King

My Husband is a King
Undoubted

"Your Majesty?" Eliana sparkled to see King Gerald this morning coming to her room. I don't know why Eliana was so curious about the King's reaction to the misunderstanding.

King Gerald did not answer Eliana's call, there was no usual warm smile when the King met Eliana as usual. His face was cold with a blank look, he walked towards Kevin's baby box.

"Your Majesty ...?" call Eliana again, this time in a slower tone. The girl herself was aware of the difference that existed to Her Majesty the King.

"Baby Kevin just went to sleep" Eliana said as she stood beside King Gerald.

Usually Eliana will feel uncomfortable when the King tries to get close to him, but this time the cold attitude of King Gerald even makes him sad.

"I just wanted to see Kevin" he said.

"Yes, Your Majesty," replied Eliana.

Eliana retreated slowly, widening the distance between herself and the King. Does the King suspect him? Is it because that necklace changed King Gerald's attitude toward her?

"Eliana?" King Gerald called to Eliana with his cold voice.

"L-yes, Your Majesty," Eliana replied again.

"I don't want to talk, was it true that the necklace you were wearing when the head of security was here?"

"That's right, is it Your Majesty's fault?"

"Is that wrong?" The King immediately approached Eliana and squeezed the jaw of the girl's chin until her lips pursed.

"You stole it from me! Why don't you just tell me if you want jewelry! I'm disappointed in you!" King Gerald clasped his hands hard until Eliana's face slammed to the side, her strung hair along with the movement of her head.

Tears began to pool from Eliana's saddle. This was more poignant than what he had felt at home with his mother and stepbrother. Perhaps it was because of his feelings for the King, that he felt so sick when King Gerald did not believe him.

"Hamba didn't steal it, Your Majesty," replied Eliana.

"You're still evading?" snapped King Gerald.

"Hamba really doesn't steal, it's a necklace given by my father, Your Majesty." The girl tried to be honest.

"You think I believe? That fancy necklace you got from your father who owes the country? That's pretty impossible!"

"The servant does not lie, Your Majesty. The slave necklace is just an ordinary white gold necklace, the price is cheap, the father made his own for the servant. Dad told me that to my servant." Eliana tried to stay honest.

"What I tell you all is what, Your Majesty, I'm not lying" explained Eliana, sobbing.

King Gerald didn't have the heart to see Eliana cry. He wanted to interrogate the girl again, but the tears kept on being shed by Eliana, making the King feel shaky.

Not wanting to see Eliana cry, and not wanting Kevin's baby to wake up, King Gerald leaves.

"Your Majesty, please believe me!" Eliana hugged King Gerald's leg. But the King still did not flinch.

"Deliver!" she said very coldly.

There was no lie from Eliana's eyes. I want to believe right away. But it's not all that easy Eli! I need to find more evidence and find the real culprit.

"Originally you know, Eli! That necklace you used was no ordinary white gold! But it was a real platinum necklace. That makes me not believe, from where Louis can give the fancy necklace, after all the shape is also very similar to the necklace of my late brother," explained the King as he stepped away.

"So sorry! I can't just trust you!"
