Since Marchha had seizures Arvind increasingly visited her in the hospital. He was afraid that suddenly the girl was no longer there. He visited her more and more before and after work. And Arvind's attitude makes Chandra a little upset.
“Why do you often go to the hospital? Though it is not your responsibility as well,” grumbled Chandra when driving him to the hospital after finishing a meeting with an important client who came from America.
Arvind, who was sitting behind the wheel, was only letting out his smirk. “Vin, you are still sane right.?,” this time Chandra's question is serious.
“I mean.?,” by reading some cooperation documents.
Chandra fixed the rearview mirror and aimed at Arvind. “Lo has no crush on the girl.?,” guess with a cynical look.
Arvind closed the document and returned Chandra's gaze through the rearview mirror, thinking for a moment. “What's wrong.?.,” raised the corner of his lips then went back to reading the document in his hand.
Chandra only shook his head hearing the answer from his superior. Not the answer given but the question that makes it even more frustrating
Arvind get off the car, “Lo just turn, I stay in the room mommy.” Then he went into the hospital.
Chandra did not dare to protest anymore. He just complied but he was thinking of something he might do if one day the man really liked the comatose girl who might never wake up again.
Chandra doesn't disapprove, but he thinks it'll be worth it. Arvind would be devastated if the girl didn't
never wake up again. He doesn't want his best friend to get hurt for love. He understands how Arvind loves someone.
Arvind walks into the hospital to the room where Martha is being treated. He deliberately stayed over to keep Martha in the hospital because the mother had asked him to replace her this day.
The Flashback
Arvind's phone rang and on the screen it said Mother's name, she immediately pressed the green button.
“Assalamualaikum mother.”, say it when answering a call
“Waalaikumsalam, Son..”.
“Nak Arvind is busy? Is your mother bothering you?,” asked mom very carefully.
Arvind noticed the documents in front of his desk piled up, “No mother,” he replied a little lying with his smirk
“Sorry Nak Arvind, mother wants to ask please can not?,” ask mother again.
“Please...” sahut.
“Begini son, you have to go home tonight because there are things you have to finish. Mother had asked for Alisya and Danang but they also could not. Mother ask for help, is son Arvind able to keep Rere for tonight.?.?,” please mother hope.
“Bby bun...” reply immediately without thinking. Though in fact he was very busy, but the reflexes he did not reject the mother's request.
“Thank you, Nak.”, said mother sincerely and Arvind also nodded even though mother did not see it.
Flashback Off
Arvind opened the door of Maretha's room and immediately let out a crisp smile when he saw the girl's peaceful face. He opened his suit and attached it to the arm of the sofa. He then pulled up the chair that was beside Maretha's bed.
Arvind kept looking at the girl's face, “Cantik....,” muttered with a smile.
She then stroked her face gently and tidied the children the hair that covered her face. “Hai... Sleeping beauty,” said he began to invite to chat.
“How did you sleep today.?,”
“Tonight I will be content to look at this peaceful face of yours without having to be caught by others..”.
After feeling satisfied looking at his face, Arvin rubbed the back of Martha's hand. “I hope to one day be able to hold this hand and walk together,” he said again and then kissed it.
“My work today is very much, but somehow all my tiredness is gone if I see this peaceful face of yours.
Arvind can spill all his heart tonight. Because no one will listen to him.
His phone then shook and read the notification from Chandra, he just lifted the corner of his lips.
a smile.
Feeling tired, he looked back at the peaceful face of Martha who was still asleep. He took the picture through his cell phone camera. Then he went back to work.
Not how long Chandra came in and brought him food and coffee to accompany him to stay up late.
“This order lo..” Chandra put a food bag on a table not far from Arvind to do his work as well as a large coffee glass.
“Gue think you are staying in the director's room? It turns out lo here..” asked while looking probing at his best friend.
“So mommy asked for help keeping him tonight.” she replied taking a cup of coffee and sipping it without looking at Chandra.
“This is not the nature of lo, deh Vin.” sahut Chandra is still paying attention to Arvind's expression which he thinks is different.
“Not business lo..,” circus then put down his coffee glass. Chandra also ber”OH” ria with a pity.
Arvind opened the package of food and began to spoon feed it into his mouth.
Chandra was bored and noticed Maretha's face from a distance. “Kalo seen longer turns out the girl even though in this state looks very.....beautiful,” value then get a killing gaze from Arvind.
Chandra's body instantly froze looking at the sharp gaze of the hazel-eyed owner. “If you have no more business you can go back now,” get rid of it
“Alright... I'm leaving now...,” his grunts are a little annoyed by his boss's remarks.
Chandra got up from his seat and then moved. “Besok bring clothes for me..,” command again focus on the laptop screen in front of him.
Chandra turned around, “According to boss's orders..,” ticked.
Then his body disappeared from behind the door. Arvind sighed softly. He focused on his laptop screen. After a while struggling with documents and laptop screens. Arvind squinted at her neck which felt tense and then stretched her muscles because she sat too long in front of the laptop screen.
His gaze was fixed again on the bed on which lay the girl who always made his heart rhythm not because of. He then smiled his smile. Arvind tilted his head looking at the girl. His eyes then saw his picture book tucked between the documents on the table.
He took the book and opened it. He is indeed a hobby of abstract painting, he opened sheet by sheet some abstract images that he had ever painted. His hand stopped opening the sheet of paper when he found a painting of the girl laughing happily.
Arvind closed his eyes remembering that moment. Her lips formed a smile as she recalled seeing the girl laughing happily while with her friends a few years ago in Australia.
His eyes were opened and now his handler turned to the same girl who was sleeping in bed peacefully. Arvind took a pencil and began painting the face of the sleeping girl. After he finished painting he thought of the right words to draw the black and white painting.
“CANTIK...” he then deleted the writing again. He looked back at the girl happily.
His hand again busy writing a letter on his painting, “MY SLEEPING BEAUTY”, then his lips smiled bees to reveal a row of teeth.
Well he will name the girl as “My Sleeping Beauty”. He then closed the picture book and put it on the table.
Arvind got up from his seat then stepped closer to the chair that was beside the bed of Maretha. After rubbing the girl's face, Arvind brought her face closer and then kissed her forehead gently while closing her eyes.
“Good night,.. My Sleeping Beauty,” her eyes and then put her face on the bed with her hand used as a pillow.
Arvind began to sleep in his sleep.
