A week passed.
Kevin was preparing, he was cleaning up Melika's belongings and himself.
Today, Melika is allowed to go home. The doctor allowed him to be outpatient. Even so, Kevin still looking for Melika Sister to help Melika activities and help keep the baby. Moreover, Melika is still in recovery. The post-cesarean section wound also made him not be able to move much first. Especially doing heavy work.
Finished preparing, Kevin came out of the ward. He left Melika and went to pay for all the care Melika had. After paying him, Kevin went to the parking lot. He asked the driver to help him carry the items in Melika's nursery to be moved into the car.
The driver followed Kevin to the ward. Not to forget Kevin also asked a Sister to bring a wheelchair.
"It's over, Mom?" ask Melika.
"Here we go home now!" Kevin helps Melika down from the gurney. Melika frowned slightly due to the surgical wound on her stomach.
"Is it still sick?" ask Kevin.
"Hm ... It's painful, Mas," said Melika.
"Be careful, slow down" said Kevin.
The sister brought the wheelchair closer and Melika sat on it. The driver had already brought Melika's belongings to the car. Now Kevin started pushing Melika's wheelchair up to the car. The car was right in front of the exit. The driver deliberately prepared so that Kevin did not have to push Melika up to the parking lot. Because the distance to the parking lot is quite far.
"Thank you, Sust," said Kevin as soon as Melika had entered and he followed in. The wheelchair was brought.
"Where are we going, Mom?" ask Melika.
"To our House. There everyone is waiting for you" said Kevin smiling.
Melika smiles. I can't wait to meet her baby soon. One thing she regrets, because she was unable to give her first Asi due to a postpartum coma. And now, his Asi has not come out.
Arriving at Home.
Kevin pushes Melika's wheelchair. Where on it Melika was already sitting.
The wheelchair entered the house, and the first time Melika saw all the members had gathered to welcome her in the living room. The mama's cry broke as she hugged Melika. She was happy Melika was back. Melika was crying haru.
Papa Melika approaches Melika, kissing Melika's forehead.
"Welcome back, Mel. Healthy always, Papa pray for the best for you," said the father.
Melika nodded.
Papa-in-law Melika smiled looking at Melika and rubbed Melika's head. She was happy to see Melika back in the house.
"Where's my baby, Ma?" ask Melika looking around the room.
Before long, a Sister approached Melika. The nurse was holding the baby.
"Here, Mom." The nurse showed the baby to Melika.
Melika's eyes reddened. Is that really the baby? Why does it look bigger than the picture? Her thought.
"Here, I'm gonna hold her!"
The nurse gave the baby to Melika. Melika held him and continued to look closely at the sleeping baby's face.
Melika's tears trickled down her baby's cheeks until the baby woke up and for the first time looked at the woman who had given birth to her. The baby looked at Melika.
Melika was crying happily, the baby looked at her for a few seconds then smiled little and fell asleep again.
Melika sobbed, making everyone in the room cry. They can feel how happy Melika can see her baby after a difficult time.
Kevin also shed tears seeing Melika and her baby. Happy, that's what he feels now. He doesn't want anything right now, if he can choose, he doesn't want this happiness to end. He just wants to see his family happy.
"Give her to her Sister, Mel!" said Kevin.
"Why?" ask Melika.
"You need to rest" said Kevin.
"No!" Melika hugged the baby as if she did not want to be separated from the baby.
"okay-okay ... Then you rest together. Poor baby, he's very sleepy" said Kevin.
Melika nodded. Kevin called for aunt, asking for a room for Melika. As long as Melika had not completely recovered, Kevin chose the room downstairs to be Melika's room and hers. Kevin asks the aunt to clean up the room, and move Melika's belongings.
Everyone was silent in the living room, but Kevin escorted Melika to his room. Melika looked around the room. It was much smaller than the room above. It was indeed a special guest room, but it was better for Melika who was still in recovery at the moment. It would make Melika easier if she wanted to go out. At least, Melika did not need to go up and down the stairs until she completely recovered.
"You should get out of the wheelchair first, and move to bed. He's gonna make it hard for you" said Kevin, looking at the baby.
"No parent will find it difficult because of his son, Mas. Don't talk like that anymore!" firmly Melika.
"Hm ..." Kevin fell silent.
"Again, I can get up and walk on my own. Mas alone excessive, until told me to sit in a wheelchair," said Melika.
When she woke up on her own, she was a little troubled but was finally able to stand up.
He sat on the edge of the bed.
"Sleep him, Mel. He needs a comfortable bed, his head will hurt if supported with your hands" said Kevin.
Kevin was so chatty, he was worried that the baby's neck would feel sore because of the help of Melika's hand.
Melika put the baby to bed, but the baby suddenly cried. Melika took him back.
"Mas see? He doesn't want to get out of my arms. She knows I'm her mother" Melika said.
Kevin rubbed the baby's cheek gently. The baby was silent.
"He knows I'm his father" Kevin chuckled.
Melika smiled and put the baby back to bed. While Melika put the baby to sleep, Kevin continued to rub the cheek of the baby to feel calm. The baby did not cry and stayed asleep.
"When can I give you my Asi, Mas?" ask Melika impatiently.
"Later, when the time is right," said Kevin smiling.
"Due ... I can't wait," Melika said.
"I'm also impatient" said Kevin smiling.
"I can't wait why?" ask Melika.
"I can't wait to get my rations, ha-ha-ha ..." Kevin laughs.
Kevin was shocked as Melika threw a pillow to her face.
"Don't laugh too hard!" melika was a little upset. Melika was just afraid her son was distracted by the noise.
"It doesn't have to be thrown a pillow either, Mel. I'm just expressing my heart" said Kevin.
Melika smiles. It was a pity that her husband had to fast.
"If you need my help, just tell me" said Kevin.
"A lot, I definitely need help, Mas," said Melika.
"Of course, I'll always be there for you. In fact, I'm going to help our son" Kevin said.
"Help change her diaper? Her bath? Or drink the milk?" ask Melika.
"Helped him to make his wish come true" Kevin smiled.
"What does this little baby want? Mostly she wants her milk when hungry and thirsty" said Melika.
Kevin lowered his head, he approached Melika and whispered in Melika's ear.
'You know he said something to me, ' Kevin whispered.
Melika frowned and looked at the baby who was still asleep.
'You want to know, what did he say?' said Kevin.
Melika nodded. Curious as well, is it that such a small baby can already say his wishes? Melika thought as if she was being stupid.
'He said he wanted a sister, ' whispered Kevin.
Melika rounded her eyes.
Bugh!
Melika pushed Kevin's face until Kevin who was shocked and unprepared became stranded.
