Kevin and Melika arrive at one of the restaurants.

Like a romantic couple, Kevin took Melika into a restaurant.

Kevin brought Melika on one of the tables in the outdoor restaurant area.

"Well, is this all Mas's prepared?" Melika looked at the table where there was a candle and a bouquet of red roses.

Melika smiled and nodded.

Kevin pulled a chair for Melika and Melika sat herself down.

Kevin smiled and sat facing Melika.

He called the waiter and asked the waiter to prepare the menu he had ordered earlier when he reserved the table.

"By the way, I'm still confused about you, Mom." Melika looked at Kevin deeply.

"Why is that?" ask Kevin.

"You are full of surprises" Melika said with a smile.

"really? You like her?" ask Kevin.

"Yes, I really like it" Melika said.

Kevin smiled and held Melika's hand.

"This is nothing compared to what you do" Kevin said.

"What am I really doing?" asked Melika confusedly.

"You saved my company. Thanks to you, all employees do not lose their livelihoods" said Kevin.

Melika smiles.

He's happy to be able to help Kevin and see Kevin happy.

Shortly after the order arrived, they started dinner.

After dinner, Kevin asks the waiter to pick up the dessert he ordered. Chocolate cake that looks so delicious.

"Yes, eat it" said Kevin.

"Why? You don't like it?" kevin asked confusedly.

"No, I just don't want to eat it" Melika said.

"But I want you to eat it" said Kevin.

Melika sighed, she was on a real diet. So, he doesn't want to eat sweet food at night.

But he also did not have the heart if he did not comply with Kevin's wishes, Kevin looks like a child who is asking to buy a toy to his mother.

"Alright, just a little bit" said Melika.

Kevin smiled and nodded.

Kevin looked at Melika who had started to eat the cake carefully. He seemed so enthusiastic to see it.

Kevin frowned when he saw Melika's usual expression, Melika even still ate the cake casually.

Kevin was surprised when Melika choked, Melika looked hard to breathe, in her throat like something stuck.

"Are you okay?" asked Kevin worriedly.

Melika shook her head, she held onto her neck giving a signal that her throat hurt.

Again Melika just shook her head, she could not say anything because her throat was still blocked by something.

Kevin gasped when he remembered something.

He immediately got up from his seat and approached Melika. He forcefully lowered Melika's head.

Melika coughed again when something stuck in her throat had been removed from her mouth.

Melika rounded her eyes when she saw a tiny object coming out of her mouth. A white gold ring with a small diamond lay on the table.

"I'm sorry, I wanted to make a surprise. But, everything was even unexpected," said Kevin.

Kevin really felt guilty because the ring was almost swallowed by Melika, the intention he just wanted to give a surprise like in the movies. Where the man gives a surprise to his partner by inserting a ring in his cake and when the woman eats it will look surprised when she sees the ring. But unfortunately Melika almost swallowed the ring. The plan to give a surprise can actually end up killing Melika.

Melika sighed softly, she looked at Kevin with a sharp look.

"In this case, it's not a surprise that Mas almost killed me" Melika said.

"Yes, put it on." Melika stretched her finger in front of Kevin.

Kevin smiled and cleaned the ring first, he put the ring on Melika.

"Kok, it doesn't fit, does it?" Kevin stared confusedly at the ring that only entered half a finger into Melika's other ring finger other than the one attached to their wedding ring. Kevin remembers Melika's ring size when she got married.

Melika stared lazily at Kevin, her husband was completely insensitive. Melika does feel her weight has increased lately. But Kevin didn't seem to notice. Melika also remembered when Kevin gave her a bracelet that was too big when worn. Suddenly he chuckles in the light of all that, Kevin has failed to give a surprise a second time.

"Why are you laughing? Is there anything funny?" kevin asked confusedly.

"Yes. At that time, Mas gave me the wrong bracelet, the size was too big, and now this ring is too small when I wear it" said Melika.

Kevin smiled, he thought giving a woman a surprise was not as easy as he saw in the movies.

"I'm sorry, I'll trade it" Kevin said.

"That's it, it's okay. I still like your surprises" Melika said.

"Thank you for being an understanding wife" Kevin said, holding Melika's hand.

Melika smiled and nodded.

"Thank you for being a romantic husband. Although it is always not as expected," said Melika while chuckling.

"Yes, it's not easy being a romantic guy. I can't be like the romantic guys out there" Kevin said, wearing a grim face.

"I'm not asking you like the men out there, I'd rather you be yourself. Everyone has a different romantic side. It is impossible for every head to have the same thoughts" Melika said.

"I love you" said Kevin, looking deeply at Melika.

Melika fell silent, she was stunned to hear Kevin's confession.

"I love you" said Kevin.

Melika's heart was pounding, she could finally hear those words from Kevin's own mouth.

"I love you too, Mas" Melika said with a smile.
