Chapter 18

Dev and Adi came out of the doctor's office and walked into the ICU room where Zea was being treated.

A female nurse is seen coming out of the ICU automatic room Dev and Adi approach the nurse.

"Can we see the situation?" dev asked the nurse.

"May you, but you have to take turns and put on the clothes that have been provided," the nurse replied and then let one of them into the ICU room.

"Uncle come in, I'll wait here," said Dev allowing Adi to enter first.

"Thank you Dev," Adi replied patting the shoulder of the man who would soon become her daughter-in-law.

After Adi wore a complete PPE, the middle-aged man walked slowly towards the bed where his daughter lay weakly there.

Dev looked at her from the outside of the window.

"Darling ... Get up, don't you miss papah? What if Daniel asks about you .. what to say to the son of a bitch," Adi expressed her anxiety as she clasped her daughter's hand lying weakly on the ICU bed.

Dev who stood outside the window of the room was only glued while staring at his future wife, who was still unconscious and remembered every sweet quarrel they often had.

But suddenly his phone rang and broke his daydream.

"Hallo Jack" said Dev raising the call.

"Boss, Miss Lena is at her house right now, do I need to take her forcibly?" jack said across the phone.

"Whatever, the most important thing is that you can take him to the warehouse of the kit headquarters, a" Dev replied in a cold tone and immediately hung up his phone.

After finishing his call Dev turned around and already saw Adi coming out of the ICU room.

"You want to get in Dev?" ask Adi.

"Yes Uncle, I'll see it first" Dev replied and passed away leaving Adi.

The man entered the room and wearing his full PPE, he walked towards the bed in the room.

Slowly the man held the hand of the woman who had colored his life and kissed the back of the hand attached to the infusion hose there.

"Hey, don't get too deep in your sleep, I miss wanting to tease you." Dev looked at the face of the woman lying on the bed.

"I promise that if you realize later, I'll marry you right away. So that I can take care of you straight away and you can't argue with me anymore" Dev said as he rubbed the back of Zea's hand.

'I will not let go of someone who has harmed you, ' Dev's mind glared, then kissed his future wife's forehead lying down and left the room.

"Uncle, I'm going home first because I have to see Momy and change clothes." Pamit Dev because it is now showing at 7 pm.

"Yes Dev, I'll be here waiting for Zea, you go home first maybe your Momy is waiting for you," said Adi turned towards Dev.

"Yes Uncle, and I have some business for a while maybe after my business is done I'll come right back here" Dev replied, then kissed Adi's back and left her face.

Now that Dev has arrived at his mansion, he immediately went inside and approached Momynya who was in the middle room.

"You just got Dev home?" abel asked to look at his son.

"Hey ... What's up Dev? why is your face so moody? And there's blood on your shirt? Did something happen to you, son?" abel asked, drawing his son's hand to sit next to him.

"Explain to Momy, what really happened to you Dev?" abel asked, looking closely at the face of his son who was so Lessu.

"Nothing happened to me Mom," Dev replied as he lowered his head.

"Where did this blood come from, Dev?" abel asked again with a frown.

"This blood belongs to Zea, Mom. He was in an accident after coming home from here," Dev replied very carefully given the state of his newly recovered Mom.

"WHAT!!! Zea accident!!" abel was surprised.

"But why did you just say this to Momy now, Dev?" abel said again with an anxious look on his face.

"Then how Dev is doing now, I want to see him" Abel said worriedly and then moved off the couch.

"Mom, calm down" said Dev, pulling Abel's hand to sit back next to him.

"How's it going now, Dev?" asked Abel who immediately shed his tears.

"He's in a coma, Mom," replied Dev limp.

"Oh my God, poor girl. Take me to see Dev, I want to see his situation," Abel said as he sobbed.

Then Dev hugged Momy and calmed her down.

"Tomorrow mom, tomorrow I will take you to see him," Dev replied as he stroked the back of the still sobbing Momy.

After feeling calm, Dev took Mommy into his room.

"You've eaten, Dev?" ask abel.

"I'll eat after this Mom" said Dev.

"I will accompany you son" replied Abel.

"No need Mom, rest." Dev kissed the mother's forehead and went straight out of the room.

Dev walks to his room, the man enters and goes straight to the bathroom to clean his body.

The man went straight out of his room towards the dining room, and immediately ate the food available at the dining table very greedily, because he did miss his lunch due to an incident that befell his future wife Zea.

Dev finishes his dinner activities quickly, as he will go straight to meet someone.

Then his phone rang, the man immediately picked it up because of the call from his assistant.

"Hallo, How? did you bring it?" dev asked as he walked towards the exit of the mansion.

"Yes the boss, he's been my roommate in the barn" Jack reported.

"Good, I'll be there soon" Dev said, turning off the call.

The man immediately drove his Lamborgini car at high speed to his headquarters, where Lena was already there.

In a stuffy warehouse, a woman wakes up from her stupor.

He opened his eyes and looked all over the room.

"Where's this? Why are my hands tied" said Lena, who saw her hands tied.

Then he recalled what had really happened, the last time he came out of the Nico family mansion to pick up a package outside the gate.

But suddenly there was someone who smothered his nose and mouth using a handkerchief from behind and he was immediately unconscious.

"Am I kidnapped" he murmured.

Suddenly the sound of the door being opened very loudly, and made Lena jerk in shock.

"You're aware, *****?" said Dev in a cold tone and stepped his foot into the room.

Lena was so shocked to see the handsome man who had kidnapped her.

"So you kidnapped me, honey?" said Lena smiling sumringah.

"You shouldn't have to do this if you just want to be alone with me, honey," Lena said again with a sweet smile.

"Stop calling me that because I'm not your lover anymore" Dev said in a slightly snapping tone.

Lena laughed softly at the answer from the man.

"But I will always consider you my lover because you are only mine" Lena said.

Dev was so sick of hearing Lena's words and clenched his hand and walked over to the woman.

"I'm not yours anymore after you kissed another man in front of my eyes!" answer Dev with great emphasis.

"But it's just a misunderstanding, honey. And I just love you," Lena said, trying to convince Dev

"That's not love, Lena. It's just your obsession" said Dev, who began to ignite his emotions.

"No Dev, I love you so much and I will do anything for you. To get you back to me" said Lena as if begging.

BRAKKS

Dev kicked down the table in the room.

"Including harming me and my future wife!!" jolt Dev who could not hold back his emotions anymore.

Lena immediately gasped in shock at the words of the man she loved.

'From where does she know about everything I've done, ' Lena's inner fret.

"I know everything you've done for Lena, including what you've done to Zea by crashing your rental car into the cab that Zea was riding in," said Dev while holding firmly the woman's jaw in a cold and pressing tone.

"What are you saying Dev, I don't understand." - denied Lena with a face that began to panic.

Dev threw out his hand holding the woman's jaw until she almost fell to the floor.

"Jack, bring all the evidence here." Dev commands.

And Jack entered the room with all the evidence the big boss had asked for.

"Look at this good good Lena!!" Snapped Dev while showing some evidence of everything the woman had already done.

Lena looked at all the evidence with a look of dread and fear.

'How could he have the evidence, ' Lena's mind was fixated with all the evidence that was on her.

"Why?? You can't deny Lena anymore" Dev said in an intimidating tone.

"I did all this because of you Dev, I love you so much and you are only mine, no one can have you other than I include the woman****** that!!" shout Lena.

PLAKKIS..

Dev directly slapped Lena's cheek so hard that blood came out from the tip of her lips.

"This lady's daughter is Jack, and make sure she receives the punishment she deserves for what she's done." Dev orders his assistant and leaves the place.

"YOU KEEP UP WITH ME DEV !!! I love you Dev and whenever you're just mine, ONLY MINE!!!" shouted Lena while sobbing.
