Part-3

I opened my eyes, the smell of drugs began to smell in this sense of smell, it seemed like I was in the hospital. The first person I saw was not my mother, but my budhe.

"Alhamdulillah you have realized Nak Aryan. You've been passed out all night." My budheku said gratefully.

I remember what happened. No. gabe. This is impossible. I'm sure this must be just a dream.

I looked around the room, there was only Bi Ani, Budhe, and Ardi the youngest of my budhe.

"MISS ...." I screamed, trying to wake up.

Arrgghhttt ... I held my head that felt so painful.

"Be careful Aryan, calm yourself first." Budhe said, holding my shoulder.

"Buddy. Where's Mommy?" I panic.

"Your mother's been moved to the mortuary. Your father's taking care of it."

After hearing the narration from Budhe, I quickly swung my foot to the place that Budhe had said earlier.

Seen from a distance of 10 meters in front of the mortuary door, my pack was having a serious conversation with a young man wearing a white coat. I walked over to my pack and the man looked at me. I saw a nametag attached to the man's shirt that read N.Harun Abidzar.

"Sir, where's my mother?" I asked pakde.

I did not have time to reply, the man said "Then I'm sorry sir, there are still patients that I have to deal with, come..." Said the man and left us.

"Aryan, your mother's in the boy." Answer pakde.

I took a breath, I strengthened myself and opened the door of the room. I put my feet into the room, where those who lay stiffly were covered with white cloth. My sir guided me where Mother's position was laid.

Pakde stopped his steps, right in front of the corpse covered with white cloth. I'm sure this is not my mother. It's just a dream.

I tried to open it. And ... Deg. My world was utterly destroyed, when I saw the woman who had given birth to me and raised me with her affection, leaving me for good.

Now it was clear that my mother's pale face was asleep, but it looked so peaceful.

Instantly my body collapsed, even my legs were powerless to hold my body weight and this heavy ordeal.

I hugged my mother's stiff body, hoping she would wake up.

"Mother .. please wake up ...."

"Please tell Aryan, this is just a joke to prank Aryan."

"Mother ... please don't go ...."

"Why would you leave Aryan alone ...."

"Don't we promise to be together, Mom? Then how can I live my life without you?"

"Dad left, now Mom's gone. Aryan has no one left, ma'am."

"I'm sorry Aryan didn't have time to help me."

"Aryan promised, he'd find the culprit who made me like this."

"Aryan promised, he'd avenge what they did to me."

I was crying hysterically. The clear liquid that flowed from my eyes was powerless for me to stop. My world has been broken into pieces, my chest is so crowded as if there are chunks of rock squeezing.

"Pakde has reported the case to the police, let the police do their job to find out who did it." Pakdeku.

As much as I could, I tried to stand up. "I'm going to investigate, sirde, I'm not going to let go of the man who killed my mother." I said with my hands clenched.

Suddenly the door opened, displaying two male figures in white clothes. Pakde is back. "Your mother should be buried immediately Aryan. Pakde has informed the family and relatives of your mother in the village. It's not good for your mother's body if it's not buried soon."

Pakde said, they could only cry hysterically after hearing this bad news, and they immediately got ready to come here. However, there were also some relatives who could not come. Because of the great distance it can take days.

This morning, my mother's body was in an ambulance and ready to be returned home. Budhe and Bi Ani were in the ambulance. While I was with my Pakdeku, and the one driving was Ardi. Afraid that I'd drive anything happened, because my mind was still very messed up.

When we were in front of the house, we saw all the neighbors scattering out to watch our arrival and my mother's body.

Everyone looked at me with pity. When my mother's body was brought into the house, their cries broke instantly, as they watched my mother's frozen body.

My tears did not stop flowing as I continued to look at my mother's corpse. I hugged my mother who was already stiffened, occasionally stroked her face, and kissed her one last time.

Budhe approached me while rubbing my back. "It's Aryan's son, Budhe knows, we've all lost such good people as your mother. You have to legowo and let your mother go. If you keep crying, your mother will definitely be sad and won't feel calm there."

I could only nod, not a word out of my lips. But my tears still flow faithfully.

My body will be buried soon. Now your son has taken you to your final resting place, Mother.

Slowly, the ground was hoarding my mother's stiff body, until the ground was perfectly covered. Now I can no longer see the body of the woman I have always loved.

I knelt down and stroked the tombstone that read my mother's name. His grave is right next to my father's. Now I must be happy, because I'm beside Dad.

"I am deeply saddened by the passing of your late mother, Mr. Aryan. He's a very nice person and very meritorious to us, especially to the orphanage." I turned to the source of the voice, looking like a woman might be my mother's age, with her right hand leading a boy who was in his ten year olds, and his left hand was holding a small child who was probably only two years old.

"Your mother never forgets to visit the orphanage every week, sometimes your mother is accompanied by a girl, she is also very nice to us." He continued, while calming the little boy in his arms, for crying.

Yes, every Friday Mother always goes to the orphanage, but I don't know if Mom is accompanied by anyone else, because I never told her about it. I wanted to ask who the girl was but the woman spoke back.

"I'll excuse you Mr. Aryan. Maybe next time we can meet again. I'd be very happy if Mr. Aryan could visit us." Wage. Then leave. I did not answer from his words, only a nod and a small smile from my lips.

On the way home from the funeral, I just kept quiet. Pensive to remember all the events that I have experienced, especially the sweet memories together with my parents.

Budhe can only rub my shoulder. Gave me the strength to always be sincere. But they cannot relieve this sadness.

Arriving in front of the house, my forehead wrinkled as I saw a car parked in my yard.

'Is it possible that some of my mother's relatives and family from the village have arrived?' My inner

But it couldn't have been if they had come sooner.

"Budhe pamit first. Let me know if anything happens. Maybe your mother's relatives have arrived." Budhe said, pointing to the car parked in my house.

I got out of the car immediately, but Budhe and Pakde continued on their way to the police station because they got word and clues from the perpetrator.

I stepped straight towards my house. When I opened the door of the house, seen on the living room couch, a woman who was the same age as my mother, she was very similar to the photo I had seen with my mother. Mom once said she was her best friend. Is it possible she's Miss Lestari? The one who killed my mother? My breath hunted and clenched both my hands.

Seen beside him, there was a woman covering her face with her veil. And that guy? Why is that guy here? The man I met at the hospital while talking to my husband. What are they actually doing here? Why are they in my house?

Instantly they looked at me with the gaze of their mother.
